While it isnt awful and the cake does look pretty cool - I cant help but notice the obvious white spacing issue. I understand its a sheet but they could have evened it out so there was a white strip on both sides. It looks rushed and not done with a lot of care and effort. My son is happy with it. He loves the dragon. As long as hes happy, so am I.I will say that we got his cake from here and my daughters from HEB in town and hers was done with so much more care. Ill stick to ordering our cakes from there from now on. As far as the store itself goes, we will still shop here. We enjoy having a Marketplace close to home. Thats why I still gave 4 stars rather than 3 for the Bakery alone.
DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE PICK UP ORDERS!!! GO TO HEB INSTEAD. If I could give this place a half a star I would. Customer service is so awful. I went to pick up my online order that should have been ready between 5 pm to 6pm. When there at 5:30 pm and waited over 45 minutes. Other people where getting their orders and leaving is shorter wait times then I did. When I called they kept telling me it was coming out and would hang up on me. The last time I was told they were running behind, I asked why people got their orders before I did and I had waited longer than they did, the dude hung up on me again. Called the customer service, they said there was nothing they could do. Asked to speak to the manager and the person who answered gave me attitude because I wanted to ask why it was taking so long for my order to come out. Manager still hasnt called me back yet and I am sure I wont get a call back either. Save yourself the headache and just go across the street to HEB. Their online pick up system is soOo much better than Krogers. Theres a reason people stop shopping at this place.
I have been trying to reach someone in regards to my online order that was supposed to be delivered today between 6pm-7pm. This is not the first time I have had a problem with Kroger’s online order from here. I understand the system is not perfect but someone should be available to help answer my questions. I need to know if I’m being refunded or if Kroger is planning to deliver my groceries at a later date. Hanging up on me was very rude.
Very clean, very accommodating, professional. I wish they would put a Kroger out in liberty. We really need one here
While the employees here seem friendly enough, often they are severely understaffed. I wish there were a sign on the door warning us that there will be no registers open, so that we can go elsewhere in those times. At the very least, they should offer employee discounts when we have to check our own selves out. Hope the place gets better or my business will have to go elsewhere.
This is an update changing from 5 stars to 3. Kroger never has Minute Maid Limeade. Seems to often be out of quite a few items that we have always purchased in the past. We have actually had to start purchasing from HEB to fill our order. If things do not change soon, we will probably move to HEB completely. This is a ongoing issue.
Ever since they built this new Kroger‘s it’s always shined they always have everything in stock and the produce is awesome shout to Kaleb !!! Even the spirits selection is very wide and the kids always love to go shopping there don’t forget to check out the far left corner clearance section they always have a abundant supply of very useful things on clearance . Don’t forget to rack up them fuel points they come in handy.!!!!! For the low low low prices down load the Kroger app! Always look out for the groovy old skool cashier his name escapes me at the moment but he will brighten your day!
Location grocery store. Very convenient. Good prices. Absolutely fantastic customer service every single time!
I like to come here for the great selection of organic produce and the inexpensive meats but lately Ive become aware of an employee that management simply allows to harass and stalk female employees and customers alike.Get rid of him!Management knows who Im talking about as many have complained about him for years!
Very organized and always clean. Love this kroger grat customer service!
Went to the meat Dept. Store had rib eyes and rib eye roast on sale. There were no steaks out so I grabbed the roast ($32.00) and asked the butcher to slice it into steaks. I told him I would buy the whole thing. He told me they do not slice meat into steaks. I told him they didnt have any steaks out and said oh well. I put the roast back and Krogers lost 32.00 sale. With the fuel I bought and groceries I spent 135.00.. Krogers you have lost a long time customer.
Im a general manager for a travel center and I spend hundreds of dollars a week on fruit from kroger. Recently I had an issue I needed help with and not only did this kroger shoot me down, but they were too busy to even let me speak with a manager.Luckily I went to HEB across the street. They resolved the issue within seconds and had a manager there to make sure I was taken care of.Easy business decision to make right here.
Great prices, wide selection.
Great place, Great selection, Friendly staff, Reasonable prices with a kroger card, Great gas station also,Location Baytowm Tx. Garth rd.
I say this because the store consistently is well stocked, face forwarded, cleaned daily and has compared prices with big chains such as Walmart. First and foremost I must add how fortunate I am to be served by Don that is in checkouts when not taking care of Beer and Wine beverages, which is always in great order. He has always made me feel so welcome. What an asset to whomever employs him for he has such good sincere customer service attitude. Hes a five * too.
Not sure who the HR is but seriously needs to revaluate whos being hired. Unprofessional Customer service, attitude from line 15 cashier. Never knew I had to remind Jenny how to give me my receipt instead of her flirting with a fellow employee named Jorge. Just cause Valentines Day is around the corner doesnt excuse for not doing ones own job.
Easiest, cheapest shopping experience would never shop anywhere else, employees so friendly and awesome at what they do!
The grocery pickup people are very rude. The girl with the tattoo on her left arm(manager) is very rude and the other heavy set manager is very rude as well.
Jenny cashier @ register #15Was so bad customer skills she was flirting with another worker name was george I read his batch. She left her register go talk to the guy and the Asian girl who was bagger went inside of the register and gave my receiptUsually I go HEB and today Im not going to that kroger. I called customer service and the lady didnt want to give me her name and transfer me with the manager. This is the second time I have bad expirence at this location. I sow rouches where the can of beans are I told one of the guys and his response was what do you want me to do. I left and I wont come and recommend to go that nasty store. I will call health department about this issue.
Never had a problem at this store. Employees help when they are around. Cashiers are always nice in the morning when I mostly go.
Produce is always first-rate
Very bad customer serviceDont want to help customer and same was problem with kroger corporate service.I was not expecting...
The best one Ive been to. Almost like a super Target/Walmart. Clean. Staff friendly.
An amazing Krogers! Everything was clean, organized and well stocked! Great options and the cashier was very efficient at her job and seemed genuinely happy to be at work.
Large, clean & well stocked.
For the 3rd time doing online order with them, wer have over $50 worth of items either not given or were the worst of the bunch! NEVER AGAIN will I shop click list! Disgusted!!!
This place is the worst. We always end up bagging our own stuff while 4 employees are just gathered together talking.
I ordered my daughters cake for her 1st birthday, and it was amazing!! I couldnt have got a better cake, it was exactly how I wanted it!! Thank u so much!
Not a fan of Krogers as I once was in the past. Kroger did a terrible job on my online order. The first time I did not get all my items, the next time no substitute given, and the last time I waited for 30 minutes and my order did not come out I had to leave to be at work on time. So I now do all my shopping at HEB.
The good...... It is a large nice new store, parking is ample and when you leave there is a dedicated light. Everybody in town knows what entering Garth Rd is like. You can get gas at a discount using your Kroger card. The employees are generally friendly and helpful. The bad..... You have to walk to the back of the store to find the actual groceries, past aisles and aisles of clothing which makes you wonder if you hadnt walked into Academy by mistake. They *constantly* push the store brands over preferred name brands. Looking for power bars? They are in 4 different areas of the store, depends on the brand. Why? No one seems to know. How about frozen yogurt? Youd think a simple item. Well, youd be wrong. Zip, flip-flop nada, none. Or my favorite - Chobani coffee flavored yogurt, one of the most popular? (see pic) Almost never in stock. And I have to ask nearly every time. When they have it quantities are minimal.Overall a much nicer store that the one near Baker, but it still makes me wish the new HEB would finish construction already.
Their grocery pickup service is exceptional. Staff is prompt and friendly. Stock is abundant and they are rarely out of items that I order.
I dont come to this store except to take my friend grocery shopping. One of the few times I came inside was tonight. When I came back out to my car there were two young employees talking by a cart return as they gathered up carts. I was sitting in my car waiting for my friend to finish up inside and one of the gentlem asked if I was ok. That touched my heart because he sounded genuine with his concern. Props to the young mans parents.
Just went to get gas and use my $0.10 off.The gas can be a little pricy...a block or 2 to the left or right is cheaper.
Should have never came up with this idea. I may never know what the inside of Kroger looks like again. And my Click List girl Veronica she was awesome!!!
Nice clean place with friendly employees ~ love the Starbucks inside the store the morning team during the week day are the best
Very disrespectful store manager. He has no customer service and treat customer like they are beneath him. The store manager name is David. He is unprofessional and unethical and so many ways. I will consider not coming to this store to do any non profit organization fundraiser. Even if you have authorization to be there from corporate. I will consider not going.
Skinny Guy in the gas station booth with hoodie has bad attitude and rude...
Been a customer of ward rd and previous Garth rd branch 15 years, I like the International section, being Irish, they stock Barrys tea, made in Cork Ireland ( the Rebel county) among other products ...I will say that some staff training could include reminding the younger assistant on the self checkout area that common courtesy is part and package when dealing with customers .Some of us enjoy the self checkout because its attitude free zone but if help is needed with tricky items like fruit / veg an android response is mildly disconcerting in what is otherwise a friendly ambience all round ...its never too late to develop people skills...new manager Jasmine is the salt of the earth going the extra mile to take care of your needs.Jasmine knows where everything is right down to the smallest unusual items, a consummate professional as is Manager Michael who replaced Brian always courteous to a fault and helpful all round .Kroger rocks .....😎
Should have never came up with this idea. I may never know what the inside of Kroger looks like again. And my Click List girl Veronica she was awesome!!!
I love this store and the many amenities! My only wish is they would create an organic section by the produce and deli section instead of having the items dispersed all over the store. I have shopped in other Krogers that had this type of set-up and really appreciated it. They may should consider doing the same thing to gluten-free products. Maybe dedicate an isle to sugar-free, gluten-free and organic products. Just a thought. Very clean store and easy to check out. Plenty of workers.
Their grocery pickup service is awesome. Staff is prompt and friendly. Stock is abundant and they are rarely out of items that I order.
I really like the store. I wish they would make an organic and a gluten free section. One of the best parts of the store is Jeffery. He is the wine consultant. He is very nice and funny. Unlike most stores he actually knows about the wine and not just where it is. We (mom, stepdad, and I) love talking to him
This store is always clean. Employees greet you kindly and are alesal willing to help. There is a large variety of groceries especially produce and a nice section with an olive bar. Sushi made fresh daily though it is grocery store sushi its not bad. The fried and roasted chicken is quite fresh and delicious. I like how I can get in and out quickly. The prices are not the lowest but also not the highest.
Excellent store, always smiling faces! My only wish is if they could get someone to monitor the self serve candy and coffee section. I wont be buying anymore for my son because little kids were just sticking their hands in and eating it out of the containers!
Absolutely love this new Kroger. The selection of foods is great. The fruits and cheese selection alone are worth the trip. I havent found a need to buy any of the retail items such as clothing or housewares, but the groceries are what make this the best supermarket around. Try the Stilton cheese, it is amazing!
The store is big and has a comparable inventory to other local stores. It is clean enough, but could use more attention to detail around the parking lot and bathrooms. Customer service is average, click list pickup staff are often off schedule, unknowledgeable staff found throughout the store, and using self check can be a chore. I usually only go here if I need 1 or 2 items, or they have a good sale.
I absolutely love shopping at this Kroger. I am always excited about the selection of products. Baytown truly needed more variety. The customer service in my opinion is phenomenal. They were out of my favorite chips for 3 days, and they ordered them for me on the spot. I cannot wait to pick them later this week.
I love the Kroger Clicklist! I like that I can build my order to my exact specifications from my own home and schedule to pick it up when I want. Usually before all the traffic hits. And having my previous purchases saved and listed for me is immensely helpful and efficient. When I pick up my order it rarely ever takes longer than 10 minutes. The added bonus of gas points AND community rewards donating to my favorite charity A Life to Live every time I shop is just taking it to another level!
Place is always clean and the people are always friendly. They have a Starbucks inside along with hot soups and a place to get fresh sushi . Lots of places to sit to enjoy your food or drink. I come here once a week and the produce is always fresh and there is always a nice selection in the meat and fish departments.
Very clean and well stocked with a great deli. My only complaint is the layout. To get a simple gallon of milk requires a hike to the back left hand side of the store which in my opinion is much to far from the rest of the fresh ingredients to be found on the far right.
Beautiful Store and I went to Apply knowingly Id filled my Application out correctly, but Kroger had no record of my Application sent to them and then a response to my email. Someone else controls my Cellphone. They dont pay the BILL THOUGH....WISH THEY WOULD ON THIS WINDOW 9
I had an awesome experience with Jeffrey and Jessica in the wine and cheese department. I needed to find a good wine for a wine tasting party I was going to. Jeffrey took the time to help me make some excellent choices regarding the type of wine I purchased and he even enlisted the help of Jessica, the young lady who works in the cheese section, to make sure that I got the right cheeses to match my wine selections. It was an excellent example of exemplary customer service and I will be sure to go back again.
Logan is the cashier that checked me out he is very friendly and attentive. Very pleased with him and the sacker but I didnt get his name. A couple of associates looked at us and turned there head. But will return and hopefully Logan is working. Thank you Logan
Excellent customer service! Super clean. Easy to navigate. Great sales. My favorite place to shop for groceries.
A very nice store with quality well stocked produce section. Theres a Starbucks and sushi bar. An excellent wine and beer stock. They have a good selection of nuts, seeds, and a nice bakery. Almost a Wal-Mart diversity, almost and very polite and considerate staff.
Courteous staff, sale items still stocked on last day of sale, dairy and produce has long freshness time. Sale prices mostly competitive with other local stores. Love using fuel points to save on gas.
I have an heb 2 minutes from my house. I drive 15 minutes away to go to kroger because Im a loyal Kroger customer....until now. I have small children and a shift working husband so to avoid dragging a toddler to the store click list is a wonderful option. However, I have had several bad click list experiences where I have recieved expired items. First 2 times, fine Ill give them a pass. But 3rd time, I even put on the notes under time sensitive items like bread, farthest expiration please. Placed a click list order March 5th. So why does the expiration on my bread say March 4th?!I had to make another trip back to the store to exchange the bread with a toddler crawling up my side. I dropped expired bread at customer service and explained situation. The lady told me to go get a fresh loaf. Came back 5 minutes later to desk and NO ONE was behind desk. There were several people waiting in line and no one at the desk and the manager was very clearly standing there and saw that no one was there to help customers. I believe he was trying to radio for someone to come to the desk but why couldnt HE come over and help or at least assure customers waiting in line that someone was coming. In the meantime the line is getting longer and 5 minutes has passed with not a sole behind the desk. It was around noon so lots of people on lunch breaks were arriving at the store. Finally one person shows up but then I had to wait for the few people in front of me. After about 15 minutes of waiting just to exchange expired bread I was finally helped.Expired items should not even be on the shelves let alone given to click list customers.....especially when I specifically indicate in the item notes to give me a product with farthest expiration date.Gonna give HEB online ordering a try and hopefully they wont give me expired items.
Awesome store. Its huge, clean and easy to navigate. Love the fresh fruit and veggie section. Marvelous fresh fish and meat sections.
Aisles not clear for driving a cart, cant reach items because a movable display obstructs driving close to what is needed & obstructs reading labels.Too much, too high for Handicap cart seat. Cant see or cant read labels when overhead. No staff available to ask for help.Out of items they carry (even when the items are not on sale).Starbucks not serving hot drinks. Not enough handicap parking.Staff dont understand how to read labels to tell which is best customer buy.
Friendly helpful staff, almost Chick-fil-A friendly 😳 initially when this location opened they had too much going on, in my opinion. But now I prefer to shop here instead of any other grocery store. I use brands that were often not available in town, but this Krogers location seems to always have what I need.
A nice sized grocery store. It has a limited selection of healthy foods (similiar as you might find in Whole Foods).Did not buy meat or produce, but every aisle I went down was neat and well stocked.Cashier was fast and friendly.
Amazing selection of specialty foods and one of the best delis around. Also, great beer and wine selection. I love this store, but it does get crowded.
I love Click List shopping here! Even when I cant do Click List, shopping inside me fun. Its hard to leave. I love cooking and this place has an extremely side variety of foods as well as kitchen appliances and pots and pans. They even have clothing. One minor issue is that the Starbucks doesnt have the machine to add carbonation to drinks so you cant order the fresh made sodas or make anything sparkling.
Always friendly people, the exception being the meat deli. I have been waiting a few times to get deli meats only to see 2 or 3 people that are supposed to be working in the back on cell phones. Otherwise, the store is great.
Beautiful band new fully updated store. They have Starbucks, fresh sushi bar, salad bar, sandwich deli, and many other wonderful options. They also have a full clothing department and many others. Outside eating is available here as well.
Its a great store for the most part. I can find 99% of what is on my list. I dont know how they could do this, the lay out doesnt flow well. It seems like no matter what isle youre in, youre in the way or another customer is in the way. Other than that, its clean, faced and has a lot of choices. Prices are fair. Actually spend less here than I do at Wal-Mart down the street.
All the organics I seek. Nice people and atmosphere. Great choices. Walmart should be ashamed for what they are and could learn what a real retail outlet should be.
Kroger needs more personnel at Customer service desk, theres always a big line moving slow with people trying to pay bills and only one worker, in the first place i dont understand why people come and pay bills here, i mean why can they just send it through the mail or just pay online or through the phone, they just come waste time but it would be nice having more workers to keep the flow going faster
I ordered a cake there 1st time ever. WE ALL LOVE IT. It was whip cream toping. Not to sweet just right. Cake very moist it was so good. I will be getting the rest of my cakes from here. I tried cakes from every store in Baytown even across the street (HEB) This is hands down the best on taste color flavor and texture. Thank you Kroger for a delicious cake.
It was nice and Traci whom I interviewed with was sweet. I just thought I would receive a position in the Bakery as told yesterday from the Houston Ofc, but Traci let me know she hired for that position 2 days ago. I wonder why 1 day theres a position Im told over the phone and next day theres not. 😢
They did not have any of my items I went for!
My kids loved the fact that they had baskets their size!
I love the new Kroger.it is clean and well stocked. The isles are organized and it is fairly easy to find things. They need more registers opened for check out and and some of the baggers need more training on bagging groceries
An amazing Krogers! Everything was clean, organized and well stocked! Great options and the cashier was very efficient at her job and seemed genuinely happy to be at work.
Love this place. They always have something for everyone. And it is always so clean.
I love this place for all my grocery needs. Everybody is really helpful and I love sipping a coffee from Starbucks as I check things off of my grocery list.
We love this Kroger. They have such a wide selection of organic items which is great because we can usually buy them on a deal and know were eating good and for a good price! The customer service is hit and miss, unfortunately, with some people going out of their way to assist and others not even speaking to you. We had a few young teenage boys who were very helpful, even looking up the item we needed in their system for us. They didnt have the item at that location but their service was tremendous. But the young lady that assists at the self check is often rather haste. I understand she is busy as well and usually has a lot going on but it leaves something to he desired when she comes to your register when you request help, pushes a button, and walks away without even offering a smile. I have a lot of compassion for people who work in the service industry and Im usually disappointed when they fail to even offer a smile to their customers. But, we do greatly enjoy this location overall. Weve moved away but any time we are in Baytown, we always stop by again.
I wasn’t here for more than five minutes ... shoppers and employees were mostly maskless ... Is this a real Kroger’s store?!Yikes!
Store is very nice. Isles have plenty of room. Shelves stocked nicely. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Its new and big and clean. Large parking area. There is a little bit of everything. Nice selection for cheeses, meats, pastries etc. 2 different size buggies. Online ordering available.
Love the new Kroger. Good location. Good layout. Good meat sales periodically. Not many long lines like Wal-Mart.
Krogers always has what I need and Im usually in and out within 30 minutes.
This place is my favorite grocery store. The Kroger brand is most of the time better better than name brand! JS!!! Plus this is Baytown Texas come on by far the best place for most stuff.
Great selection great staff
Very nice and clean. Way bigger than all the other Krogers I have been to. So far this is my favorite one!
Love this place! Super clean, staff is very friendly and great prices. Free balloons for the kiddos too.
It would have given 5 stars if their app would show me the quickest route from the items I put on my list! Bravo love the store!
Huge options & variety to pick from, not just groceries. They actually have a clothing section. Very friendly staff. This place is really nice & we will definitely be back!
Front end supervisor Frank talks very rude and inappropriate with the employees! He looks creepy and dresses poorly for a supervisor buy some jeans that fit better and please shave the five oclock shadow it does not work for you! Come on Kroger you gotta do better than this!!!!! Oh and calling customers a b i t c h is so not cool!!
I laid my iPad down in the floral dept while getting help making the right selection, and left it in the store. I called several hours later and it was stored away for me. Before then and now I shop at our Kroger because of the freshness of the food, the wide selection of everything from soup to nuts and the welcoming staff. Kroger is our best grocery store. Hope the new one has a gas station!
They will force me back to Wal-Mart. I always appreciated them keeping dog food and products affordable but they have raised prices in New store. Pedigree can food jumped 7 cents a can. Also sale items shelves are empty just like old store. Not enough checkers.
Love the beer selection! HUGE produce selection, sushi bar, bakery and floral arrangements. Groceries, kitchen ware and everything you need for any dinner. I wish we had this back home 😐.
There was a lot of registers open. For a holiday they were not that busy. I waited maybe 10 minutes for self check out. The staff are not really friendly.
Great place to go shopping big selection and wide isles and the cashier always treats me wonderful will recommend!
Oh my gosh. I love this store. Have you tried the click list. More than 5 stars.
