Would not patronize this business again. Entered the shop at 645 pm on a Saturday to buy some sage snd was met with hostility and annoyance. They begrudgingly let me in even though they were listed as being open for 15 minutes. You would think that they would welcome business during these difficult economic times. Poor customer service. Will travel farther next time rather than patronizing such nasty and rude people. And no one working there wore a mask inside the store.

The owner is super sweet and knowledgeable compared to similar stores I have been to. Love the set up as well as some items that are difficult to find elsewhere, it’s nice to have a spot like this up in Beacon. :)

Come to this store if you want to feel a sense of peace and authenticity. It is more than a witchy store as the two covid-phobic commenters below called it. This is a place where quality merchandise is available for all metaphysical needs, and it is sold in an environment where acceptance and goodwill is fostered... perhaps thats why the individuals who gave the one-and-three-star comments below couldnt see beyond their own fears to give an accurate accounting of the place.

I just want to say that Notions n Potions is one of my favorite witchy stores and having to leave this review is extremely disheartening. Neither one of the two women working in the shop when I visited today were wearing masks, nor did they visibly appear to have masks anywhere on their personage. It’s nice that you’re only allowing a few people into your shop at a time and requiring guests to sanitize upon entry, but really? No masks? I understand that for you Covid-19 might be over, but for someone in the high risk category with loved ones also in the high risk category who has been practicing the utmost of care in being out in public since March, I will happily find another metaphysical store to patronize and will NEVER shop here again. Disgusting.

The woman did not have a mask on yet the requirements on the door were to “Wear a mask” But other than that everything else was nice I loved the crystals.

I LOVE this place. They have an extensive selection of Crystals and Crystal jewelry at very reasonable prices. They also have lovely gift items for anyone, especially the Metaphysically, Magickally, and Mystically minded. The owner and the staff are very professional and friendly and helpful. Great people, who are personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. An eclectic collection, never fails to inspire, including a selection of custom oils and salves that we use without fail. The 2 that come to mind most quickly are the extreme dry skin salve is unparalleled in my experience. Also, the Van Van oil against Mosquitoes has never failed us in over 3 seasons of barbecues, concerts, Shakespeare,and just chilling on the deck. It works. We quickly realize who forgot to put it on, because they become mosquito dinner.Keep Up the Great Work!!!

Awesome local spot for literally all of the potions & notions you need. From candles, to crystals, to essential oils.. this place has a good range of the products needed for basic spells & paganism for the starter witch.

Nice, knowledgeable, not pushy, or oversell. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Great assorment of gems and stones are the lowest prices I have seen anywhere.They know what they are talking about. Overall great exxperience. Which is why I am a regular customer .
