I came here after Best Buy refused to let me use their cart to load a 65” TV. SO GLAD I DID. The selections are plentiful and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. What a knock-out customer experience! Stopped by with a couple brand new 4K discs that would not load on the Sony x800M2 player I had purchased with our 85” Bravia TV last year. Discs played just fine at the store, so my salesman Randy Baker offered to swap out the DVD player for a new one of the same model. My player was several months out of warranty, so this was completely unexpected! Been a Video Only customer for over 15 years and three top of the line TVs, but today’s experience just blew me away! This is how it’s done, folks.

Video Only is great. The sales guys are informed and can help answer a lot of questions. Be prepared to either buy a TV, or be strong and tell them no. They can sometimes seem a little pushy, but they do it nicely. Ive bought 3 TVs here and suspect I will buy more assuming they are still around.

While it looks like the store has not been upgraded since the mid-80s, the TVs they sell and the knowledge of the staff are as modern as ever with great deals on their products.

Tom helped explain the difference of the “other” stores and what they offer compared to Video Only. He made me a great deal to stay within budget. I recommend the TV expertise here compared to the other stores with a price they’ll meet or beat every time.

We had a really good experience with Jakob a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately, we couldn’t buy the TV because, we were in a hurry to go somewhere else. But, Jakob had said that whenever we returned, he will be able to offer a good discount over whatever they were offering. Today, we went to the store again hoping to buy a good TV within our budget. However, Jakob was not available. We negotiated with Kyle on the price of a TV. This was an extremely unpleasant experience. First off, his tone was disrespectful. My husband and I were put off by that. Although, the deal he was offering was great, just not in our budget and we were only trying to negotiate if at all. It wasn’t the deal that put us off but we weren’t pleased with the service, specially the tone. When things did not work out we started walking out after an amicable ‘Thank you’. But, before we even got to the door, Kyle turned to his colleagues and blurted out loud that “these guys will NEVER own a TV.” I got upset and confronted him. He did apologize saying he didn’t think we were still in the store which, is a lie. He wanted us to hear it and we definitely believe that this was a racially motivated insult. We are immigrants and the disrespect and condescension was not only in the words but also, in the body language. I hope people like Kyle would be held responsible in someway. Needless to say, we are never buying a TV from this store.

My fiancé went into this store yesterday and was greeted by David-and thats where the possibility of a good experience and a good review went out of the door. David was rude and argued with my fiancé over the size of TV he was looking for... He was there to get a small TV for our 5th wheel and he acknowledged the fact that he knew the guy(David) would not make a ton of money off of him but we also did not force him into a sales position at a discount electronics store... so David, lose the attitude and learn some communication skills. Went here looking to get a LG CX 65” and met Tom, he was a very nice guy, you can read all the reviews you want about a tv online but when you get there and see it in person it can be intimidating. Tom was very knowledgeable and his goal isn’t about you buying from them that minute it’s about you getting to know what your getting what’s best for you. Walked out with the tv I wanted he got a good deal and a warranty to go with it. Would definitely recommend going here if your looking for a tv and ask for Tom you won’t regret it.

Second time that we purchased products at this store. First was a LG AI television, great product and now a LG sound bar system, better than I expected, its 3.1 with subwoofer. Salesman Randy Baker was excellent. No pressure, no bull, just a great customer experience.

When our nearly 14 year old Samsung BNP series TV started breaking down badly within the last year, it was time for a modern upgrade. We were dead against purchasing online, nor were we enthusiastic about big box stores.We’d driven past Video Only many times and decided to stop in. Tom was like an old school TV salesman you’d find during my childhood in the ‘80s, super-knowledgeable and very interactive with demonstrating the different makes and models.The deal he put on the table was so good and so far beyond anything that online and big box retailers are capable of, we couldn’t leave the store without making a purchase! I’m definitely telling anyone in the market for a new TV to go here.

Terrible customer service and extremely rude manager. Pushy sales people to start with and when your $1,500 TV stops working after 2 months they do not try to help in any way. Unless you consider a condescending salesperson telling you, “we don’t actually make the TV’s at the store” as helpful. Samsung sent a repair person out who said he will NEVER tell Samsung to exchange a TV (and why would he- that’s how they make their money) even though the repair will require several service calls according to him. This store might help only if you have the box because they want to repair the exchange/damaged item and resell it, and they can’t sell it without the original box. Very disappointed with both this store and Samsung. Won’t be buying from either place again.

Great experience at video only today. Came in to recycle an old broken set. They were able to take it off my hands easily. Looking around the store they have great selection of televisions.

I buy all my televisions, soundbars, and Bose sound systems from Video Only. They always have the cheapest prices for those items, except for Bose as there are no discounts for that. I saved 150 on a Samsung 55 Q80t today, and it is very easy to walk in and walk out. They are knowledgeable and pointed me in the direction of what I wanted within 5 minutes. The Beaverton store is a little darker and feels just a touch less inviting than the Jantzen Beach option, but trust me, if you want the items I mentioned above, you cant be Video Only.

We went to Video Only in Beaverton Oregon On the New Years Day with an idea of what we wanted for a new TV. Our Sales person was awesome. He showed us what we were looking for. We asked if anything was better and his response was maybe this one but he liked was better for our needs. We bought a 65 in Samsung Q80T. Randy did not try to up us sale us like other places would. He did suggest a newpower strip and a special HDMI cable for our new 4K tv. They were both on sale also. If you are looking for a new TV I don’t think you can go wrong with Video Only on Canyon Rd. Our sales person was Randy Baker. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We’ve bought our last three televisions here and have always walked away as content as can be. Tom was seriously the BEST salesperson we’ve dealt with at all the places we’ve shopped. Honestly, we have shopped around (e.g. Best Buy, Fred Meyer etc...) but we always end up at Video Only for our purchases. This is really the BEST place to buy a TV. This was my second time visiting this store and second TV I have purchased from them. Been on the hunt for a specific TV and decided that I was finally gonna make the purchase. I called the store to see if they had it after unable to locate it at the big box stores and they said they did have it. I asked if it was the 2020 version and Tom told me yes, and that they only sell new models. Tom told me that if I was coming in today he could give me a deal, not only was the TV a $100 cheaper than advertised elsewhere, but he also threw in a 5 year extended warranty for free. Would advise against shopping here. Pricing may be competitive with rebates and discounts, but no more so than Costco or Best Buy. My experience with the staff in this store was extremely poor.Upon entering I asked about Vizio only to be immediately dismissed as theyre cheap and from China. I was told the same of TCL and Hisense, all known budget brands. Meanwhile, they seem to still stock Magnavox and other obscure brands. Due to this, youll find a rather limited selection of not clearly marked models. The salesmen then proceeded to tell me why LG, Sony, and Samsung are better, while not being able to refute or even acknowlede the issues I have with those brands such as a lack of HDMI 2.1 full support or not supporting things like Dolby vision. Not to mention that the new Vizio OLED uses an LG panel, just like Sony and LG OLED do.Extremely confrontational over a simple question and seemed to lack much real product knowledge. While I understand Vizio may not be perfect, I own one Ive had some minor issues with for full disclosure. All brands have some QC issues and I wasnt expecting to be talked down to for simply asking a question. I was certainly hoping for staff to be more knowledgeable than me if theyre going to talk down to me. Its possible I simply ran into someone having a bad day, but that isnt really an excuse or worth giving another shot to me. I wasnt even asked what I was looking for a TV for, use case etc.Stick to Costco or Best Buy.

Tom at Beaverton was no exception, and provided serious knowledge and service when I went to get my new LG CX OLED. I thought I had done all the research beforehand, and he was still able to provide interesting tidbits, as well as the great pricing (including on the 5 year warranty). Once we start upgrading more TVs in the near future, Ill be coming back here again.
