I highly recommend Trek Bicycles for anyone looking for bike gear or a new bike. They go the extra mile for customer service. Went to them for a bike lock and gloves and they gave really detailed information on the use of the product and helped me personally to select the right product for my uses.-Hussein Alrubaye
Great first experience coming in to Trek Bike Shop with the family.Originally, we came in for my sons flat tire repair on his bike. The people greeted us and told us they were able to fix it and that it shouldnt take long.We started looking around the store and the next thing you know we ended up purchasing a $269 16 inch kids bike for our 3 year old daughter and accessories to go with. :) It was an easy transaction. The staff did all the work and put everything on the bike for us including adjusting the handle bar and seat to fit my daughters height. Our sons tire repair was only $20 and that took about 30 mins or less.Highly recommend going to Trek. They are pretty reputable and the service is 5 stars! I wish we had bought all our bikes here in the past but they just earned a loyal customer for life. We will come back for the next bike in no time because kids grow up so fast and will grow out of their bikes.Thank you for the fantastic experience! Great service is hard to come by and you have made every way possible to earn that trust and royalty! :)
Great products, pricey, but you get what you pay for. Pretty soon everyone in the family will have one. Love the bicycles! And the staff is there to help you make a smart investment decision.
I purchased a bike here and absolutely love it! Every experience I’ve had has been fantastic. Shawn recently helped me fix a flat. He took time with me to help me learn each step of the process. Thanks for a great product and service!
The Beaverton location has a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. We had just purchased two TREK bikes from another location, but were looking for additional accessories. Nick provided us with outstanding customer service! He answered all of our questions, and assisted us with our purchases. We appreciate the time he spent researching availability of an additional bike we are interested in for a future purchase. We noted that overall customer service was great, and available from knowledgeable staff within the store. We would not hesitate to recommend this store and staff. We will definitely return in the future.
We came in looking for a rear rack for my daughters bike. Nick looked at pictures of the bike (since we didnt have it with us) and showed us a rack that he was pretty sure would work. He said that we could come back with the bike and they would install the rack or we could take it home and try it ourselves and, if we had trouble or it didnt fit, to bring it back with the bike and they would find a rack that did work and help install it.Knowledgeable, friendly, good selection of merchandise, and super helpful. When any future biking needs come up well definitely be returning to Trek.
Incredibly pushy, kept telling us we should buy the bike to hold it and then we could try it when it was assembled🤯 The next morning a representative from the store called to apologize for our initial experience and convinced us to come back. Nick took his time answering all of our questions and was very professional. We appreciate that they took the time to reach out to us and try to make things right.
I’m new to biking. Everyone in the store were so friendly and non-judgemental. It took several tries to get the bike to fit me well. Tim is really thorough and patient. Now my bike fits really well for me and I don’t get sore riding anymore! Highly satisfied with my service.
My husband and I both ordered Townie bikes through Nick at The Bike Gallery Beaverton. Nick was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. We are a retired couple and have been treated quite rudely at other shops, but not this time :) We really appreciate the respect we received from the staff.I absolutely love my Townie!!We highly recommend you check out this shop…they don’t disappoint! Thanks again Nick :)
I have been a returning customer at Trek Bicycles in Beaverton and I have to say that they are very professional and polite. I have spent over $500 towards servicing my bikes and the mechanic department is always on top of their game.Today my experience was a little different and while I still appreciate the entire staff there, I feel I got overcharged for something that could have easily been avoided.Long story short, I brought my bike in, for a conversion to tubeless tires. The bike already had tubeless tape pre installed on the rims. Only thing I needed to be done was to add the tubeless valves and the sealant which I both provided. In the end I got charged for extra tubeless tape which the mechanic department told me was needed to cover the valve part, which is 1 inch wide and I feel it could have easily been provided from the maintenance supplies instead of getting charged a whole new tubeless tape.Again, I appreciate all the people working there but I feel a little disappointed from my experience today.Thank you.UPDATE: 5 Stars for Trek being on top of their game and maintaining the stellar customer service Im used to.Louis was very attentive and provided excellent communication and resolve this for me.Thank you again.
Felt they didnt want to deal with me after a crash. Just wanted to know if the bike was good or not and information for insurance. No one approached me and felt passed. Maybe It was the cheap bike VS their expensive ones, their mechanic did suggest other bike places to go to though.
I went to the Beaverton Trek shop. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Tim was the one who helped me specifically. He was great! He was honest, and very knowledgeable. I am so glad Trek is in town. :) I highly recommend them.
I have purchased 3 bikes for my kids from here and it has always been a great experience. They help figure out the size, work with the kids to pick them, help find the gear we need, etc. I have also traded in smaller bikes to size up which is quick and easy. The only issue Ive ever had is that they are always out of stock at the moment so I have been waiting 1.5 years to get a bike for my wife and I. Great place.
Quality components, construction, and high performance capabilities of the products offered here. Overall service is also very good. The shop really attempts to be attentive to each customer and offer meaningful suggestions based on their needs. Kudos.
The staff is very helpful and willing to take the time to help each and every client. Sometimes this means you might wait a bit, but it also means youll have dedicated attention once its your turn.Tim has been especially helpful… Twice I came in a little before closing because well, I work all day and then only have an hour before they close to come in… but he still went out of his way to make sure everything was working correctly (and fixed a few things on the spot) even though it was past his quitting time!
Look no further for your bike needs. This place has everything you need to get up and riding. From experienced to first timers, the staff specializes in helping you with excellent service no matter your needs. It had been several years since I had purchased a bike, so they helped me with information on finding what worked best for me. Not only that, but they made sure the bike I wanted to purchase was there waiting for me when I got there. They sized it to me and let me ride it around near the store to make sure I didnt have any issues before I hit the road. These are high quality products from top of the line bike experts. I cant say enough how happy youll be dealing with them. The individual who helped me with above and beyond is Conner, who went out of his way several times to communicate with me and work with my evolving needs. These guys are the best. I imagine any location lives up to this reputation but I know for a fact the Beaverton location does.
We love Trek bikes. Great experience our first time at this store. Great selection, quick service, fair prices. The staff was so helpful and involved my 9 year old daughter in every step toward getting her new bike!
Very direct information and good pricing, do not try to over-sell which is why I am a repeat customer.
Great Trek products. We bought a Top Fuel and a Marlin for me and my wife. The best part of the whole experience was Coda. He was beyond helpful, he was patient and very informative. He took the time to explain the benefits of the models, sizing, maintenance and spent the time researching inventory at all your locations. He was VERY helpful and kind.
Awesome work and way ahead of schedule. These guys know what they are doing!
I brought my bike in to have a spoke replaced and the tire was not reseated correctly afterwards so I felt a bump with every wheel rotation. The mechanic I talked to when I originally dropped my bike off was friendly and helpful but I’m disappointed with the work I had done
They never answer their phone, over several attempts spanning many months. Ill take my business to a shop that does communicate with their customers.
You’re treated really well by the associate. You can tell they want to help you find the exact thing you’re looking for. They don’t pressure you to buy either. On the flip side, they literally NEVER answer their phone. I’ve been trying to call them about a bike and they won’t answer their phone. I’ve called for hours on multiple days and never got through. They told me to email too, but they don’t provide an email address, not even on their website. It was very frustrating trying to get in touch with them.
Awesome customer service!Even better than before, though Bike Gallery was top notch!25 year satisfied customer!
I have always had very good service from this store!!!
Casey absolutely loves his new Trek Marlin 7! He immediately went for a ride as soon as we got back to Grants Pass. Thank you for your excellent customer service and communication!
Great customer service. Excellent resource for maintenance and repairs.Trek has a great product line. But recent supply line shortages have limited the number of new bikes available to sell.
Great place to get a bike. They specialize in e bikes but can help you get on the road with a regular bike just as well.
Staff has always worked with me to get the right product and right fit. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable
The mechanic took the time to sort out my bikes issues and make recommendations. I will definitely come back for full service.
Just stopped by today to get airs in my tire (realized pump at home no longer worked) and do tune up to prepare for sudden back to office commute.I barely had half hour to spare, as I’ve been working double shift (hard to hire nowadays) and barely had time to prep the bike. It also doesn’t help I lost my car thanks to hit and run (police defunded not pursuing the case) leisure bike became necessity for getting to work.Walked me in promptly with upbeat greeting, had assortment of pumps ready for me to review, and even oiled my gears while doing preliminary assessment and didn’t up sale me anything I didn’t need.Ended up buying everything on site from night light to pumps, because that’s what online retails cannot provide or compete - warmth and hands on expertise. I’ll always be coming back because staff here is so accommodating, and appears very happy to work there. That makes me happy as a customer too :))PS - When will the purple t-shirt by the cash register be restocked? I wanted a small one. But only large was left - be perfect if it was a WFH pajama, but back to grind on gears to drop the “Covid-15” - the silver lining in this scenario lolResponse Update: Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I do have few more items to consider buying (water bottle rack) so I can stop by when the t-shirt is restocked :))
If you can get someone on the phone than you are very special. I’ve been calling for 3 days and with no option to leave a voicemail it’s Uber frustrating. I really don’t want to have to walk my bike 1.5 miles with a broken chain just to inquire if I need an appointment fair simple bike repairs. I work weekends and I have been calling all week during business hours
It seems they rebranded from bike gallery to trek bicycle. Just got my boys trek bikes and gloves. The love it! Be aware that there is a line to get in especially if you need your bike fix so expect to wait outside!
My husband and I have been trying to call this store all day to ask a simple question about services offered here. We need a tire replaced on a bike. Easy enough. However every single time we call we get an automated answer from a machine that then tells us its forwarding the call. Rings for a few seconds, decides that was enough time, then it tells me Ive reached this message because no one could answer and hangs up on you after telling you to call later. This all in about 15-20 seconds of calling. Just answer the phones with a human. Why have all the extra steps if youre just going to ignore my call?
Great help. Showed me how to adjust disc brakes. Real easy. Needed a new light for grandsons bike. It was readily available.
Needed to fix a broken spoke for my son’s bike so he could ride to school the next morning. Repair was done quickly and for a fair price
They are great! So incredibly helpful. Had really chewed up my tire with winter rides. They replaced it and I was able to make my group ride with time to spare.
Wonderful customer service, probably returning to purchase a bike. 🙂
Bike Gallery in Beaverton is a great shop with wonderful people in both sales and service. We have bought one adult bike and two kids bikes in the past year, and also had a couple minor repairs done. They are good neighbors. Glad to have them in town.
Bought a bike in Dec, paid for it Back order until march. We are in May, no bike either they do not know why or they do not answer the phone. I am frustrated
Always treated well at this bike shop - nice people!
This bike shop is awesome! It used to be the Bike Gallery, but the same employees are still there after Trek purchased the Bike Gallery. The employees are as always, awesome and knowledgeable!!
Great customer- and timely service.
This place is THE best! Every single time I go to them with my bike they are so kind and teach me how to do things myself.....and every time I end up going back they reteach, woops! So kind and I will never go anywhere else!
Great service. Helpful staff. And an amazing bike!
Amazing service, quick turn around on bikes being built and repairs being performed. When I didn’t know how to change a flat, the service team walked me through the details so I’d be confident on my own. Great people and great service! Highly recommend!
Fixed my chain was very helpful
Surprisingly quite there today, got to see the mechanic for a simple issue. Sales rep that sold me my bike nearly a year ago came over to chat. Very friendly staff
It was a perfect experience, even down to the COVID-19 safety measures. I love the new bike, exactly what I expected. Very smooth process ordering through the web site and quite timely. The bike was assembled sooner than I expected. Love the final safety check as well. And, to boot, I love the building you guys are in... an old house I assume? Very friendly and helpful staff. And I live down the street on Millikan so quite convenient. Love it and the service offered when things need adjusting. Happy you guys have a good service department for any issues I might have. Great job, guys!!
I wouldnt buy from them again. I bought a $5000 e-Mountain bike from them and when they were putting it in my truck, the tech didnt put the battery in correctly and it dropped out onto the pavement. Ive not yet touched the bike so not my fault. They said theyd order a new battery cover as it got scratched up pretty badly. Thats been a year and havent heard a thing from anyone yet. Thats not how you treat a customer thats bought several high dollar bikes.
Shop is now open with no line for in store shopping as of 10/14..A couple weeks ago i took a bike in to have it put together the rest of the way after having it shipped from Texas. Same day service surprised me but i was stoked they got to it so quickly considering how busy they were. Will definitely be my go to neighborhood shop from now on, as im new to the area. Also ordered some things online, they were ready quickly, for easy in store pickup.
Great service. Prices are a little high, but they deal mostly in high end bikes. Very helpful staff. Lots of knowledge. Couple of years ago I had a torn seat and this guy gave me a new seat from a bike they scrapped for free. Today they gave me a couple valve stems for free. Im either too cool or theyre just plain good.
Brought my bike in for the wellness check. They jumped right on it, and checked it out. Its all lubed up, adjusted,, and rides like first time. They treated me very nice, answered my questions, and got me out very quickly.
You guys did an amazing job and totally exceeded my expectations. The bike works fantastic and the final price was just as promised with no surprises despite having to unexpectedly replace the back wheel. I would recommend you to anyone in need of bike repair!
Customer service was excellent! Waiting time was minimum despite Covid-19 measures, and the staff member was very helpful and honest about certain products I was inquiring about. He was also very friendly, courteous, and made me feel welcomed. Prices are similar to what you would find online, but without his help Im sure I would have bought the wrong product.
Great bike store with a helpful staff. I walked in and was greeted by a staff who helped me find what I was looking for. Really great service!
Good and fast service very respectful
I have been a customer of The Bike Gallery for over 25 years, having purchased several bicycles, various bike parts, accessories and cycling clothes from The Bike Gallery during this time. I have also referred them many customers who have also purchased many bicycles and accessories throughout this time as well. I can honestly say that myself and the many people I have referred to them have always been treated with respect and have had a100% positive experience. The service department consists of some of the most skilled and knowledgable bicycle technicians in the region. They have never failed me and have always delivered beyond my expectations. Remember: Be generous and treat the technicians well my friends!! Your safety is first and foremost on their minds.
Great help from the team, wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else
Excellent service. Pricing, honesty and communication first class. I wish car garages were the same as these guys :) I would not hesitate to recommend them for bike service
They had the exact bike I wanted, moved it from another store, and set it up before I arrived. The bike is great. The people at the Beaverton store seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a great experience.
Five stars for Shawn in service despite super long wait.
My bicycle full fitting session and service for a bent crank was quickly, effectively, and professionally done. The person helping me with the bike fit helped find the exact parts I needed, I ordered them and scheduled my service, then dropped off the bike quickly (thankful I didnt have to wait through the long line for ad hoc sales and service!), and got it back the next day delivered to me outside. All very courteous and professional service! The bike rides smoothly and more comfortably now. Well worth the time, money, and effort! :)
I was really impressed with the work done on both of my bikes. I have a 15-year-old Kona that needed some parts replaced and a tuneup and they did a fantastic job! They also did a tremendous job with my sons, Schwinn. Prices were reasonable, and they were speedy to do the repairs. I would definitely use the Bike Gallery again.Greg
Finding a bike had proven to be more than daunting. After exhaustive researching and calling around, I located a bike at the BG Sandy location and put down a deposit as it had to be built. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite fit. This prompted me to make the decision to drive to a shop in Bend where they had the only smaller size available in the PNW.Prior to making the journey, I stopped by the BG in Beaverton because Sandy was closed on this day. I wanted to get a refund for my deposit and had discarded the 54cm I had previously reserved as a viable option. I explained my situation to Shawn Stottlar, and he went above and beyond to see if we could fit the current bike. We ended up changing the seat for a lower profile design, and swapped the existing 172.5mm cranks in favor of shorter 160mm cranks to accommodate for my shorter inseam. The bike now fits like a glove with even a bit of room for height adjustment. Thanks to Shawn’s attention to detail and diligence, he not only saved me a 7 hour round trip drive, but also sparred me from having to ride a bike that may have been too small in terms of reach.Overall I would rate the Bike Gallery and Shawn Stottlar 5 stars and I would highly recommend coming here.
My son and I were able to purchase new MTBs. Conner was the initial contact who directed us to the right bikes for the type of mountain biking my son and I were doing. It was nice to be greeted warmly by Elizabeth who also took the time to explain / demonstrate how to use the brakes, shifters, and dropper post. Billie was great explaining the difference between SRAM vs Shimano for shifting mechanics on a MTB. Chad for his expertise in setting up my suspension as well as my son’s then explaining the simple adjustments I can do to make the ride more enjoyable. Lastly, Shawn you have an awesome team! Thanks for all you are doing to support your local bicycle community.
They spoke to me like I had never seen or ridden a bicycle before. They kept telling me I was a bike size that I wasnt. They had zero bikes in my size and said that I could either travel to San Jose to pick one up or order one for April of 2022. Seems like they didn’t want me to buy a bike. They seemed very dismissive.
Great experience here. I dont know very much about bicycles and they looked at my used bike I got and didnt over charge for it. The wait is a bit long because of the social distancing measures they are taking. I also went on the weekend, so it was probably busier than a weekday.
Great local bike store. Very friendly and helpful staff, and always seem to be enough people to help you. Im not a hardcore cyclist, and they have a great attitude toward customers with a variety of cycling backgrounds. Patient and supportive.
Thanks for the great service! Knowledgable and friendly staff and competitive prices.
The service staff was helpful and knowledgeable. When I took my bike in to get fixed, they inspected the bike in front of me, told me exactly what it would cost to fix, and then provided me with a reasonable timeline in which to fix it. The bike was actually fixed before the agreed date, and it works wonderfully. I was very pleased!
One star because its impossible to get through to them on the phone after numerous and persistent attempts. The message keeps saying there are 0 callers in the queue, then your call is dropped. This happened multiple times. The message also said you can text them to the same number which I did. No response. I will be more than happy to change the rating once the customer service responsiveness improves.
Very Helpful and Outstanding to helped us outTook my husband bike for tune up and replaced some of components. Their Work was amazing !!
Sean, the general manager is the best part of Bike Gallery Beaverton. I was unsatisfied with my first experience. Came back and Sean not only fixed the issues, but gave me a full refund and a free bike wash! Great experience in the end.
Great local bike shop. Good service, great bikes and several locations. I just bought a Trek training bike for my 3 year old and the pick up was quick and easy. The bike is super cool. Oh to be 3 again!!
Generally nice staff and service. I would wait until after covid-19 policies are lifted if you can. Ive been here twice in the last month. It has been my experience that you must wait 1 to 2 hours to be let in to buy anything.
Very helpful sales staff. They did a good job explaining what to look for in a new bike and helping evaluate some choices with us.
The bike gallery doesn’t want your business right now. I’ve been searching for kid bikes which anyone with kids know is challenging right now. Their website doesn’t show inventory. Their phone recording says they are not taking phone calls. So I drive into town to see what they have, and I want up to a line that is stagnant. A sign that says masks are required AND they’re limiting customers with up to a 2 hour wait. Most of the line were customers bringing in bikes for service. No common sense is being applied here. I do not have two hours to stand in line only to find they don’t have something in stock.I called Cascade Bikes in Tigard and they answered the phone, they were friendly, and the employee walked out back to check and see what bikes that had in stock that were not assembled. They told me to come in any time. They assembled two kids bikes the next morning (I didn’t have my child with me and wasn’t 100% sure in size) and allowed me to bring my kid in to ensure the correct fit and choose the right bike.I bought my previous trek 29” from bike gallery but I will not return again. Look elsewhere if customer service (or price) is important to you.
Another great experience at Bike Gallery in Beaverton. Conner was very helpful, patient and professional!
I live out of town and when my brother in law comes in to get repairs done or make purchases, the staff is very helpful with him and lets me conduct my business over the phone to make the payment for him as I manage his finances. It has been a lifesaver because I cannot drive 200 miles roundtrip to handle things for him when he needs something right away. The staff there is wonderful!
The sales and service staff are excellent.
Thank you Connor for great service for my waterproof shoes, its always a pleasure to go to The Bike Gallery and I am grateful for your knowledge and service. Keep up the good work and best of luck!
Finding bikes is really challenging right now, and it was helpful to be able to see current inventory on your website. I needed to find two bikes for my teenagers, and found the last two bikes that would meet our needs and our budget. I liked that I could buy them online and not have to worry about them being sold while we were en route to a store (which happened to us with a different bike shop). Picking up the bikes was a breeze, and your employees even installed some kickstands for us so they were ready when we got there. This was a great buying experience and I appreciate that youve made accommodations during COVID to keep people safe and riding. If I could offer constructive feedback, it is that the order status messages on your website werent very helpful. Thankfully, your employees were quick to respond to my messages submitted on the website so I had answers to my questions. Thank you!
First time visitor and the customer service was outstanding!
Good 👍 now that covid is loosened up. The bike 🚲 is much more friendly staff interacting with customers. Returned item they were excellent 👌. Hoss was great 👍. Iain
Wow, what fantastic service! I just brought in two bikes, one to replace an inner tube and the other to adjust brakes that were too tight, as well as a seat that wouldn’t move up or down.I called ahead and was told they should be able to replace the inner tube while I waited (it took 5-10 minutes) but I assumed I would have to leave the 2nd bike. But Joe knocked them both out in under 20 minutes, including deburring the seat post receiver with a drill, and lubing up the seat post. Needless to say, Bike Gallery gets my highest recommendation.p.s. If all of that wasn’t enough, the price was lower than the two other local bike shops I called.
Brought in my bike for a long overdue tune-up (bike was barely rideable - frequent chain drops, alignment issues, etc.). The team quickly assessed the bike, told me which repairs would be required and where they could work with the installed components to get them in working condition. Based on how the bike was performing when I dropped it off, I was expecting I would need several replacement parts, but the team at Bike Gallery managed to bring everything but the chain back to life! The bike is performing better than it has in years. Thank you!
Good selection and pleasant, functional, well laid out store. BUT.....your staff is OUTSTANDING. When a person deep in the process of a bike repair sees a 67 year old man in his peripheral vision and asks if Im finding what I need.... thats impressive. Similar courtesy and helpfulness at the checkout. Great group of people. And I came away with great quality items.
They are the best! We got our bike here and always come here for service. They are so friendly and professional. Highly recommended! They fixed our broken brake with no charge.
Great bike shop. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Kind to bike novices. Highly recommended!
1.5 hour wait in line?! It was getting close to 6pm and with only one person in front of me I ended up bailing. They had no problemhelping customers with bikes they brought in for tune ups. Those folks were able to skip the entire 20 person line one after another. What a terrible setup. The customers in line grew restless knowing the likelihood they would not get to buy a bike. I’m really shocked at how poorly this is ran considering the reviews it has. It annoyed me to the point I’m not going to bother coming back seeing that I’m not the only one who experienced this same service.
I was really looking forward to getting a bike from this location as I had heard excellent reviews. However, after how I was treated today I will not support this store. My husband and I waited in line for 1.5 hours, we expected that because a sign notified us of wait times of up to 2 hrs, but there was no sense of urgency from the staff. No one thanked the long line of customers waiting for their patience or saying they were working as fast as they could and would be with us soon. My biggest issue is that I had to use the restroom as soon as we got in line but thought I could hold it until we got inside. When we were finally at the door, I was told I could not use the restroom. I was in so much pain from holding it for so long. My husband explained how long we waited and that we were planning to spend a significant amount of money on a bike for me so the least they could do was let me use the restroom. I was still denied access to their staff restroom. I understand concerns over COVID, sanitizing, and keeping staff safe but when I am almost in tears because of how much pain I’m in, that’s ridiculous. My husband and I left because I could not shop at that point. The customer behind me commented to the employee about how harsh that was and the employee’s response was, “It is what it is.” I’m sorry but this is not okay. Sadly, I will not be purchasing or having my bikes serviced at a store who treats their costumers like this.
Wanted to pre-order 2 new trek bikes and instead of allowing me to do it over the phone I was told to come in. I ended up having to wait outside in line for over an hour with my child in tow. This wasn’t a long line either, there were only 4 people ahead of me. I was extremely frustrated. I want to be understanding given the current situation, but this is not a way to run a business.
Was really looking forward to buying two mountain bikes for my boys, but it seemed like they didn’t want my business. The store looked empty but after waiting outside for more than 20 minutes, myself and at least three other people left. Too bad. I wanted to buy local and not from a big box store, but after being ignored by three workers inside who didn’t want to acknowledge the line of 10 people outside, it was clear they didn’t want our business.
I have wonderful experiences every time I stop in.
