I took 3 cars here & everytime it’s been a positive experience. First car they installed an Apple CarPlay unit & 4 new speakers, it looked extremely professional & blended right in with the dash. Second car, the installed new security system with a key fob which works great. & today, I got what I always wanted which was a subwoofer it looks & sounds so good; it came with an amp & bass knob. The staff are friendly, welcoming, professional & knowledgeable. Their work is clean & done in a timely manner!!
Customer service at the Beaverton Car Toys is simply AWFUL! They act like you are putting them out if they have to do anything for you. In particular, employee by the name of Chris. Would never recommend this store or any other Car Toys store. Take your business to a store that actually wants you as a customer. Poor, poor customer service!!! Cannot express that enough!!!!!
I took my car for window tinting. one of the worker told me that he is going to charge me $600 and $500 for same day. i said ok take the car and finish it. they said that the car will be done before 8 pm on 3.9.21. They called at around 7:30 pm that they are not able to finish it today so i have to leave my car overnight and you can pick it up at 10 am on 03.10.21.On 03.10.21 when i visited, the guy on the front desk told me that your car is not ready and it will take another 5 hours to complete but as a courtesy we will give you $50 back which they never did)and i said that money is not a problem my time is precious. i told him that now i really need to talk to so called MANAGER....and it took 25 minutes of wait time for a manager to arrive...LOOK AT MY TIME BEING WASTED IN THIS WHOLE STORY....So when the Manager arrived (MARK, a nice guy) he said that for some reason they are having problem by finishing the rear window and they are going to finish it by 1:30 pm and they will deliver it to my house (since i dont have another car and i had to leaver to job at 2:00).at 1:30 i received a call that that are not able to finish it rather i should take car to job or leave it here to finish the rest and he also said that as a courtesy they will do both INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR detailing ( see pics).at last the car get done at 7:30 in the evening with scratches on it.i will never recommend this place for any one. They wasted my time...they finished window tinting in almost two day.. Never knew that they will be detailing that poor. SEE PICS.AGAIN DONOT WASTE YOUR TIME BY VISITING THIS LOCATION.

These guys were so kind and helpful! I went in because my headlights were not working and they were able to take a look at my vehicle quickly! Unfortunately, what needed to be done to my vehicle was out of their scope of practice, but they were quick to give me a referral of the next place I could go to get it resolved. I was so grateful for their help and would highly recommend their services!
I took my car in for a detail cleaning of the interior, which included cleaning the seats. To put it mildly, my car was pretty gross. The detail person who cleaned the car (I believe his name was Darnel) did a GREAT job. Very clean and it smelled clean too. The customer service reps were super friendly too. I highly recommend.
Save your money and go somewhere else!! Took my car in for a detail and a wash. The detail was $140 and the wash was $25. When I received my car, there was still trash in between and under the passenger seat and the floor mats still have visible dirt. The outside looked like it hadn’t been washed at all. Not worth the money.
I came in to get my remote car starter hooked up since Best Buy didn’t bother to get back to me. The customer service was great. The person I talked to tried to get me in that day but they were too busy, so he told me to come back the next day. He got me in and the job was done in 3 hours. It’s been a few weeks since they hooked it up and it works great. This place had amazing service I highly recommend.
I have had the audio in my last two vehicles upgraded by Car Toys in Beaverton with excellent results. Good service and reliable products that meet my vehicle audio needs. While I dont shop around much, the price seems entirely appropriate for the results received. Dare I say Wahoo? Yes!
Went to get a subwoofer put in my car. Bought a warrantee and keep coming back with all the issues that seem to arise. They are always helpful and take care of the problem! Thanks guys

If you buy the Detailing package from Group for $80, This location will ONLY VACUUM INSIDE ONLY, and WIPE DASHBOARD. They will NOT do anything more. IT IS NOT THE WHOLE CAR DETAILING. IT IS NOT WORTH $80. DONT BUY from GROUPON. NOT RECOMMENDED!
I didnt have an appointment or anything, I just stopped by here real quick because my new Amp I had just hooked up was not getting power for some unknown reason and I couldnt figure it out. I went in and just asked if someone could look at it for me. Even though they were obviously busy, someone came out within 2 minutes and looked at my amp- and had my sh*+ working in about 5 min, no charge! I would definitely recommend this place!
The installer that worked on my car was named Jake and he did a fantastic job. I was having trouble installing my own system and asked him for help and not only did he go out of his to get me taken care of but he did it at no charge as Id already bought the equipment from there. Didnt make me feel dumb for not knowing what Im doing and even have me a dude I need off his work bench since there werent any Im stock on the floor. Very helpful and personable staff; I will certainly keep coming back.
Had my vehicle in for some interior detailing and to fix my subs. They did a fantastic job on my interior and just as a courtesy fixed my subs. Super happy with the service although it did take all day. Other than that super happy.
They get the job done, so far seems like a good upgrade from a 2003 Ford stock radio.Does any one miss their cassette player??I guess i could take the time to load my cds on my phone some day.My biggest criticism is the extra costs. The sale price of the head unit is so low the price match is not an issue. But then all the extra stuff gets inflated to compensate. They are a business so I can appreciate they need to stay afloat but jeepers a free install of a $250 unit turns into $530.....
Dropped off my car. They had it for an interior and exterior detailing. Kept the car 11+ hours and the exterior was still filthy. I could have gotten it just as clean at a drive through car wash in five minutes. We had to change multiple plans for the day to accommodate their other customers (my husband was the first car in that day) and then the work was terrible. I could have done a better job myself. Im remembering why we never bother using them for anything. Go to a drive through and save your money.
They did an amazing job on my moms car! We got her windows tinted and her car detailed. Will recommend all my friends and family to go there.
Car Toys Beaverton is awesome. Customer service is superb, specially Jay-Ar. He did a great job detailing my car and window tint in a short amount of time. My car looks and smells like brand new, and the tint job is perfect, I cannot see any bubble or anything. Highly recommended.

Francisco installed my system and did an amazing job. I have a Mazda 6 and the head unit could not be swapped out. Because I had to use OEM radio, Francisco hooked me up with a DSP that made my new speakers and sub sound amazing. He tuned the DSP to make the factory head unit sound amazing. Def worth all the money invested.

From picking out the perfect speakers to showing us how to use the new stereo. This guy knows music, is a good listener, and knows how to get the job done! I was wrong given them a good review, I brought my car today but they didnt do anything for their back job. They lies, not a good place to be. My car just sat their all day in the same spot where I parked 🙃 😒 🙄 😅.
A stereo that is $250 shouldnt cost $1000 to get it done. It also shouldnt cause electrical issues in the entire dash (RPMs and MPH were off the charts, car seat power stopped working, mirror retraction doesnt work) then complain they are 100% sure it was them when nothing was wrong with it for years and then it starts occurring the first minute of leaving CarToys. I should have been wary when there were disgruntled customers in the store who had been waiting for 5 hours for their car before I decided to buy anything, but to be honest, I had no idea where else to go to buy and get it installed as quickly. As well, the stereo works as it should which is a plus, but no one wants to talk to me when connected on the phone as the echo is extreme.
Car Toys was readily available for me as soon as I came in and they were super nice and helpful. They quickly assessed the problem I had with my subwoofer and figured out the issue very quickly. They had a solution immediately available and fixed it in a matter of minutes. All for a really good price. Fantastic!
This place it truly the worst. Had to go back multiple times to get the job completed. 3 weeks later the entire system broke. Don’t waste your money here.
Had my viper remote start installed on my vehicle, Aaron and the shop manager were great in getting my needs met as far as the install. I appreciate the work they did, the install time was the only complaint it took almost a whole afternoon to get done. Other than that completely happy with the work!

I have wanted a stereo system for a long time. I love good sound quality and a nice bump. Went to car toys early November 2019 and was approved for a credit card. I purchased the best interior clean package to be done before stereo install so as to save from having anything removed later on. Then purchased a new dash plate, pioneer touch screen stereo, amp, custom sub box and jl audio 12woofer... Totaling upwards of $3,500 dollars. Cleaning and install took an entire day. They said sub box wouldnt be in for a week so I scheduled it for two weeks out. When it came time for install sub still wasnt in but I decided to install everything else in preparation. Before it was 100% they had me set up a few things on the stereo. I immediately noticed that they tore the rubber boot on my shifter column which the installer got indignant about as if I was lying. They said they would order me another one though... They said they would look into the box and call me with an update. I waited a week with no call so I decided to call but they still had no info. Once again said theyd call me back which never happened again. Called back 3 days later they told me theyd check into it again. Finally getting back to me this time saying it would be there that day and I could come in after work for the install. When I get there no one knows anything about it and the installer seems irritated he has to put it in so late in the day. I hadnt driven my truck much since the stereo install so once I got the sub I sat in the parking lot and played with it a bit.Everything seemed ok. The next day I go to roll my passenger window down and notice that when I press the button it somehow gets feedback and clicks through the speakers. That next week I have a friend ride in my truck. Now since ive owned it no one rides in my truck so I keep the passenger air bag off. I go to turn it on and its already on. Immediately I know car toys turned it on because I do not. After he leaves I turn it off and my air bag warning light comes on and I turn it back on and the light goes off. Subsequently right where they installed the USB port and bass nob. Which also didnt work when it was originally installed and im the one who had to point it out. Next on my 6 hour long drive from Brookings Oregon back to my home in hillsboro I notice that my speaker voice sound keeps going in and out but the bass still sounds in my driver side door.When I get home I call car toys and tell them about the problems and make an appointment. They tell me to come in first thing Sunday morning so I do. They ask if I am waiting or if I have a ride like they always do and I answer that I will be waiting. I walk around check things out again and keep checking on my truck to see if it is in yet or not. 3 hours in and still hasnt left the parking lot. 5 hours in still in parking lot finally 6 hours later they come to say theyre looking at it. Only 30 minutes later they come to say they fixed the clicking, the wires were good too my door speaking and they never heard the speaker cut out. I remind them about the shifter boot. Installer tells me oh uh... yea I havent ordered that yet. When i leave and get home i go into my back seat to retrieve some things and notice my binder and papers just shoved off my seat on the floor board in a mess from the installer. Now im starting to get a little perturbed. So i start checking more. The clicking they said they fixed... Not fixed. Next morning guess what door speaker cutting in and out and getting more frequent. This was Dec 8th 2019That next week I go back in. I talk to a manager this time which seemed very nice. Assured me they would take care of me. Once again asking about the shifter boot... Installed says oh yea i ordered that. They tell me theyll call when its in should be soon but they will call with an update. I tell them thats ok even if it takes a few days more lets make sure its in and I can hopefully just get everything in working order all at the same time.JAN 17 2020 $3,500 NOT ONE CALL. DEFECTIVE SYSTEM +XTRA ISSUES
Car toys was the third stop we made shopping for a car stereo for our son. The store was laid out very well, with several products displayed for comparison. And lots of different options. What was above and beyond was the sales clerk. VERY knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Answered all our questions incredibly well. Didnt get his name, but he deserves a raise!! GREAT EXPERIENCE CAR TOYS !!!

I spent $2000 dollars on new front speakers, an amp and a sub at the end of February 2021. Since then I have had nothing but issues with the right door speaker. I have had to take my car back in 2 times to get “fixed” and still the issue is not resolved. This has been a huge inconvenience since I only have one day off a week. For spending such a huge amount of money, you would think my stereo would work properly. Not happy!

Horrible customer service! Only hooked up back speakers in truck, To turn off stereo you have to open the passenger door when truck is off, called to get it fixed the man on the phone was so rude and kept putting me on hold,, once this is taken care of we will never go back!

Dont make commitments that cant be met, make sure everything works, clean up any mess your crews create inside the car, technicians need to be clean (hands) - I just had a brand new head liner installed that now has a dirt smudge on it thanks to your crew, provide the owner with the manual for the equipment that they purchase, dont argue with the customer or tell them they need to drop off the car for the entire day for a 5-minute fix - especially when they were told over the phone to bring the car in and they would address it immediately. I was considering spending an additional $300 for amp and sub-woofer, but based on my experience, I likely wont - not from Car Toys, certainly not the Beaverton location.
Great service, fast installation. Very happy and would recommend. I actually bought the sub I wanted and they just installed it but they were super cool and very helpful. Will definitely use them again.
I had my car detailed and it looked like my child vacuumed it. Still dirty and I don’t think they removed the floor mats. Still had dirt on the doors. Cup holders weren’t cleaned. There were snack wrappers in the backseat. Seats were shampooed poorly. Not the standard I’ve experienced with past detailing at car toys. Very disappointed. I paid over $200 for a partial vacuum. The oil change place does a better job as part of the oil change.
There is not one of the worst services. The attitude is extremely poor. The staff at the front desk cant seem to speak English. They just make you wait. Disgusting.
There prices are reasonable and the gentleman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable. Great job to all of you at Car Toys.
Im honestly not impressed with the Car Toys in Beaverton. The installation wasnt free like is advertised and cost me 75, plus when the original radio was removed the technicians neglected to remove the CD inside. When I came back and explained this was a problem they told me that theyd charge me to get the CD back out. Thankfully the CD wasnt expensive. Furthemore, an employee the previous night told me they could get the job done in 45 minutes if I came in the morning. It took two hours to do. I cant give the place one star because they did at least the same day installation done and the radio is working well, but the customer service and advertisement was lacking and misleading.
HEY GLAD YOU ASKED:1. When I purchased I made an appointment and was told it would take one day to install an alarm system, a tuner and speaker system including 10 woofer box, and also install sound dampening. At the end of thefirst day I had to pay $20 Lyft to come to your shop to be told that it wasnt ready. I took the vehicle home for the night, brought it back in the morning. 2nd day, end of day had to pay another $20 Lyft to get to your shop and you werent done until CLOSING!! I think there is nothing worse than being lied to, two days in a row. How could an installer be that wrong to say all of that could be done in one day when it took up all of two days?2. The installer when putting in the sound dampening, popped off a bunch of the plastic pegs that hold the factory carpet panels to the insides of the van. I was told the installer would get them from the dealership and mail them to me, since I moved from Oregon on 4/20/21. To date (4/30/21) I am STILL waiting for these. Waiting. Ive called twice.3. I signed up for the 18 months free financing. I wasnt given anything at all regarding the financing paperwork, even the name of the company. I had to come back to your place the next week and get one of the applications from your shop, to get the company name. But those applications have NO contact info for the Brand Source company!!4. When installation was all done, I wasnt helped to figure out how to work the tuner. Now three weeks later, I still do not know how to set radio channels, cant figure out how to seek, Ive set the clock forward an hour 3 times and it keeps changing back to the original time (an hour difference), I dont know how to get to AM from FM and I dont know how to work the graphic equalizers. These were all important to me, but of course, since you guys were still working on it until closing time on Sunday night, I wasnt afforded someone who had the time to work with me. $3000 later, I have a system that I cant use or enjoy.5. Stereo install was messy, there were schmears of black gooey stuff on the floor of my van and other places, pieces of zip tie, and I even found a nice razor blade under my drivers seat. What if I had reached under there?6. I am now traveling out of town in the van for an extended period of time. I had envisioned my enjoying tooling down the road with my awesome $3000 stereo, but no. I can only listen to CDs, thats the only function Ive figured out on my own. There is NO way for me to return to get the help I need. Im very frustrated about this.

Ive had 3 car stereo systems installed at this location over the years and the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They go they extra mile to put a smile on your face! Not to mention their great deals and sales promotions.
I was helped by Gary and the shop manager (sorry didnt get his name). They were both super helpful and made the process easy and flexible. I didnt feel pressured at all, Gary was friendly and easy to work with.
In my case, install the products correctly. I have had problems with my vehicle ever since I got everything installed. I was told it was something wrong with my truck which is incorrect. I have already had one mechanic tell me it was the instalation of the alarm system in my truck and now I have an alarm system that I cant use. Before they installed it I let them know that one of my doors has to be locked manually and they should have told me before hand that it would create a problem. Not wait till after they installed it to tell me. Due to the problem I was stranded out of town, had to get a tow truck, a hotel, pay a mechanic, gas to take it back to portland for them to work on it, then have different problems arise after the fact and only to have them tell me that they didnt know what was wrong and send me on my way back to washington with all 7 of my kids in the car after I told them that my stearing wheel locked up on the freeway 4 times while I was driving it back to them. Not happy after spending close to $6000! I have an appointment at a different CarToys store that is more than willing to help me with it this weekend. So lets see if they can make a difference in my opinion.
Overpriced... found same products on Amazon for under half the cost and quoted way too much on top of it for install... felt like I was sitting in a shady used car dealership
I was given 2 different bids on the same work. They were a $150 difference between the two.Its the price of labor, I provided all the products. If the cost is $100 an hour then clock the time, end of story.I went to the location to pick up my truck. One person was there to help which isnt an issue but he didnt know anything about what I had done and could not answer any questions. I was asked to sign papers that werent explained and keys given.My truck was left in a dark parking lot next to a very shady motel with lots of shady people standing about. I was liget worried about my safety. The truck was parked in sluggy muck that was mixed with antifreeze that I had to walk through to inspect and to get into my truck.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I had a bad experience to say the least. After spending more than $4000 on a stereo and alarm system on a a corvette i had purchased 3 mos prior. I have had electrical issues on top of electrical issues. To name a few the car wouldnt start, stereo wouldnt work, a/c didnt work and my headlight wouldnt flip up, one of my door locks wouldnt work. I waited a month for an appt to get it in so they could correct their errors. After keeping my car a week, they returned it to me with none of the problems fixed on top of my dashboard not being completely installed, screws were missing thoughout my cars interior, chipped the paint on fender and virtually ruined my dream car. You would think after i gave them ample opportunity to rectify the situation that they would do right by me. I spoke to owner personally and have not received a return call after leaving several messages. So essentially i paid over $4000 for them to wreck my car.
Wait was quite long during an alarm install on an older 2000 model Jeep TJ. But I had nothing better to do anyways. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. Been here before and ill be going back.
I wanted to upgrade to an Apple-play system and get the stock DVD player replaced. I’m thrilled with the products I had installed. It was an involved installation but it was done in a day. That included something I wasn’t in the market for but couldn’t turn down because of the great price: ceramic coating. Now my vehicle looks like new and will be easy to keep clean. Great staff & mechanics/installers.
The employees are always so friendly and helpful.Any questions that I ever have about my auto stereos on installation or what to use and to best go about it, I go to Car Toys.Their guys there are pretty knowledgeable and can explain what I need to know in a way thats totally understandable to me.I would recommend Car Toys for anyone that is installing their own stereo for the first time for their questions and car stereo accessories.

I have nothing but a good experience with Car Toys in Beaverton. I got an entirely new system installed and have had to go back several times to get something adjusted or fine tuned and theyve been great. Promptly attended to the issue and got it resolved.

I took my car to get detail at 2:00pm on a sunday .They offer me 275.00 deal that included vacuum, steam my Car sits and 2 hour ozone .They told me come back at 5pm it should be done .when i came back for my car .They havent even started .They got my car and started vacuum .by the time they got done with detaling my car it was 6:00 pm .That left a hour for the ozone .They did a half fast job . there was still dust in my car .I took a picture. I lost money and they lost my business. I would never recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

I would recommend raising your installation standards. I had to have a installer come out to put a grommet on my amps power cables because it was ran though a drilled hole. I had a $500 amp installed and they were going to run it though the factory wiring until I told them I expect it to be installed with 16 gauge all the way to the speakers.First and last time I have a “professional” installer work on my vehicle.Edit:I went back for repairs with a confirmed appointment at 10:30 at 12:30 my vehicle still wasn’t pulled in to the install bay. I left at 12:45

You can refund my purchase. I will never use car toys again. They installed the w3 in the wrong inclosed box which is proof they dont know what there doing! I even called JBL and went over spec.
Straightforward & kind service was my experience here. Location is fairly close to public transit trains and buses that can take you around Portland and such, if you need to kill time during installation.
Have your installers slow down and double check their work before they release vehicle back to customers. Also, they need to take time showing customers how to use their new equipment. What grade would you give them after having to return 3 times so far. I didnt even get the package and instru6for the remote start.

I always like going into this location because everyone is friendly and helpful. As a car enthusiast i can appreciate when the installers come and listen to different speakers in the demo rooms and can point out some good options for my car or truck, but dont pressure. I have done two installs and havent had a problem.
Quickest, cheapest, friendliest and cleanest place to have your blow and go device serviced! I tried to support small local businesses but I always go back to Car Toys because of their customer service, and their fast service. They have always tried to trouble shoot my issues instead of upsell me or directing me to another manufacturer.

I took my car in to get cruise control. Over time I started having problems with other parts of my car which I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for to fix. And problems kept happening. I finally got a diagnostic that the cruise control they put in was faulty and causing all of the problems. So I went back to them with the diagnostic from “Honest 1 Auto” (who are amazing and will recommend to all) I wanted to be discreet, so I asked the manager to meet me out of customers range. I didn’t want people to hear I’d had a faulty cruise control put in. So I sat towards the back. But when the manager came in, he had a chip on his shoulder and questioned the paperwork that Honest One had sent. Do not do business with this company. They DO NOT back up there services. And if you go in there and you try to tell them that you want to stand up and be the company they are and do the right thing.? Well, I’ve learned that they don’t. They just call the police.
This place is awesome, I went to the Beaverton store a bit last minute(2 1/2 hours till close) and the guys there really hooked it up. They got me the proper gear(stereo, speakers, and sub) and got everything installed clean by closing. After running it for a bit I noticed a slight issue which I called and the professionally handled it the next day. I will definitely be coming back here.
Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience here while purchasing a new car stereo. While the staff was professional and helpful, I wasted several hours running between locations because I was told the Tigard location had the correct wiring harness and dash kit for my car, which they did not. They did end up finding the dash kit, however they gave me the wrong one and it did not fit my car. I ended up just ordering the rest of the parts on Amazon to be done with it.
I had a great experience. Both the salesman and the installer were named Ryan. They both were very professional and very helpful. They both had a lot of patience with me and did not push me into anything. The installation of my apple CarPlay receiver, amp, and sub was done very nice and in a very timely manner. They even made sure I knew how to work everything and helped my pair my phone to the new receiver. I definitely recommend this place for your car audio needs and will return for future business.
