After working with Chin & Mitch for about a week I find them to be very helpful & going beyond their duties to get things done. Thanks PTD your the best
If I could give negative stars I would, I went there and thought I had a semi decent experience... other than the fact it was clear this man buys stolen equipment and had no idea what he was really doing, proven when he pulled out an iPad that was iCloud locked, indicating he had plenty more like this, and he said he didn’t know how to get through it so he was just gonna wipe it to see if that worked. HA! For those of you that don’t know, that means two things, 1. It’s stolen. 2. He doesn’t even know that Apple iCloud locked devices when wipes are next to impossible to bypass, and at that point only the person who had their Apple ID signed into the account can unlock it at this point. (This statement is as true as I’m going to go into it I don’t need to help him or other thieves and their associates learn how to get around Apple’s security. Just know it takes someone who really knows what they doing after that). Back to my experience in his store, I’m trying to get some ram and possibly a SSD, he won’t give a price on anything. He simply states that he will beat any price, give him a reasonable price and he will take it. Normally this could be very nice and good business however, when your expected to look up a stick of ram that you want and price check it and then handed a stick of ram that only matches the size and capacity your kinda wasting your time. Not to mention REAL STORES have things like warranty, and they actually give you what your looking at. When it comes to ram, if you know how to decipher what the info on the stick says, it’s incredibly important for it to be exact. The speed, the latency... THE BRAND!!!! None of these matches what he tried to give me. So after stating multiple times I wanted Samsung 10600 and the latency wasn’t critically important to me personally. I finally get a stick that had the correct stats. I will give him credit for understanding that ram sometimes comes in what’s called Low Voltage thou I doubt he knew that was what the “L” stood for. And to clarify I’m referring to laptop ram ddr3 or PC3. He also sold me a 1 tb hDD by seagate which was only a 2 and a half years old for a decent price. I felt it was a fair deal even thou I had to leave my mom waiting in the car for over an hour. Not to even go into when I asked about a vid card with for pci express and he starts looking at cards that were over a decade old. Sheesh. So I get back and put my ram in and did a memory check and it came back good. At first. Next it was time to use my usb jump drive to install my OS which I have used dozens of times on dozens of various computers desktops and laptops alike. That’s when it hit the fan. Next thing I know I’m unable to install an OS on the hard drive I had just used DiskPart to clean, and partition out nicely and format for convient use. Odd I thought never had this problem ever before... not this particular problem anyway. So I redo everything I previously did figuring I made a mistake in the command prompt portion of my work and again got the same problem. This time I put my old hard drive back in so I could try re creating my usb jump drive because not only did it fail the second time but I got blue screened after it failed before I could finish shutting down. Which i had never ever had happen to me before in the years of self taught tinkering and mistakes I have made learning how to manipulate PCs. So I figured it corrupted my jump drive, no big deal, only when I went to recreate a fresh and long overdue updated install thumbdrive I COULDN’T, somehow I was unable to even create the tool to fix my problem. Once again another first. So after endless time working my magic and taking breaks from the device I now wanted to stomp on I came to learn my Ram stick I had previous to the one I bought was magically fried, preventing me from being able to proceed. So now I’m down a stick and out some cash only to learn the hard drive was bunk and somehow all this screwed my registry up to all hell I’d continue but I’ve reached my word limit
