Ive been going there for years and I always want to go back ☺️ the pharmacy is great, the deli is great and Im pleased that they finally listened to me about putting in self check, it took me along time.

Great service, the two ladies in customer service were awesome this morning. Think one was Kelly. They have the friendliest staff members at this store. This young person with long blonde hair helped me locate an item, she first mentioned where the tea bags were then came n found me and asked exactly what I was looking for n then told where that item was. She was busy filling an on line order but yet took the time when she realized she mentioned the wrong aisle. That was so professional n awesome of her. She could have ignored me n said something like oh well, shell find it or shell ask someone else! The staff there in the mornings (Fridays) are awesome, the produce guy n a few others too. Thank you for your services. Again, this store is so much better than the one thats closer to my house (Farmington/185th), glad I switched.

It has the usual grocery store stuff. Sometimes it is difficult to get milk when it goes on sale, because it sells out quick, there is not a big enough area for the milk. The veggies and fruit is usually well stocked and fresh. The bakery is yummy, and does a great job!

Great store. I love it! Always clean. Never too packed. Good workers. And great prices like on $5 dollar Fridays.But the best thing was that I forgot to use my Safeway Club Card when checking out, and the Customer Service was closed. I spent a good amount. I was told to come back, and I did, and they gave like $14 cash back by showing my receipt and club card.That was cool that they honored their word.Thanks Safeway

This is a smaller Safeway, not the larger well stocked superstore that had been the format of recent. Staff at this store is not 5 star as most of the chains other stores trend to be. Very upscale area may be cattering to the more urbane. Sadly, diversity does not seem to be welcomed or is it the planned persona of now being a part of of SLC Albertson? Wish I had my old favorite Safeway back.

Wide variety of items. I bought some bouquets of flowers as a gift, they were very useful.

This store has amazing customer service! When you enter, they have refrigerated goods on your left and a snazzy deli on your right. Yum! Hard not to pick up jo-Jos on each trip!Cashiers that efficiently take your cash money for the goods you want to take home!! Great setup. Everyone that works there is super friendly!

The staff in the hot deli was amazing. Very fast and friendly.

Wanted beef and broccoli but this has absolutely no flavor 😕 it does not taste like beef the broccoli is overcooked. Very disappointed 😞

Certainly one of the better Safeway stores. Im very happy with the price of meat, with frequent deals that beat other supermarkets by a long shot. The produce is good, and the stock of other items is excellent, too.

This store (Murray hill store)used to be my favorite till recently ( few month ago) I noticed the customer service level started gradually degrading I thought COVID-19 was the reason but I was wrong. It has a bad culture especially in the butcher shop as for the cashiers it’s a hit and miss some are nice some are horrible it’s the sign of bad management. I switched stores and the Barber blvd one has excellent customer service.

Ive seen this older man with a cast on his leg and has been working that way for 2 yrs now at Safeway. I can tell this man is in pain and I dont like seeing people struggle. Hes a very good worker he never ignores people when they need help hes always doing his job. I think this man deserves to be paid well. Idk how much Safeway pays people but he sure deserves a decent pay rate. Ive lived in beaverton for 4 yrs and its a good Safeway theres a taco bell,bar,vet,ace hardware store,subway,salon,workout gym,, and a gas station in the same parking lot. I cant help but feel sad for people that work so hard. I can see the pain in his eyes and it makes me sad he needs some help and money certainly would help him live a better life. 🙏

The store has what is needed [ items ] by most people. Like to shop there, because of their service & competitive prices.

Prices are higher than most...but I shop there often cuz I love Safeway & its convenient❣

As always, clean, quick and in stock. Digital points have a way of ticking me off though, stop in for what I need only to find I have to sign on to get the rewards, annoying when I do not carry my device with me. Otherwise, Safeway is okay.

The checker at the self check out is absolutely the worst person. He is beyond rude. I will not return to that Safeway. Almost all other Safeways are excellent, but this one seems to have several problems.

NO SKUNKED BEER HERE!At least, not the Widmer Hefeweizen that I love the most.Unlike Beaverton Fred Meyer, and worse all Bi-marts, this Hyland Safeway does not leave their beer out in the aisles when stocking, or storing, therfore due to greed or negligence, skunks the beer the hell out! Everytime I come to the customer service desk theres always some sort of problem, so I wont be shopping here again. you cannot cash payroll checks here anymore.

Its pretty bad when Walmart does a better job of organizing the gluten free products they sell. They had items that were marked gluten free on the tags, but no certification on the packaging. If its not certified its unlikely to be safe for those with Celiac disease. They also mix breads containing wheat in the frozen section with gluten free bread. The manager didnt seem to care when asked about it.

They carry my favorite Sparkling Ice drinks and Thomas (I think) who handles online orders is wonderful.

Reasonably convenient for a nearby frequent/occasional shopper.

I like this store. Its clean and they have public restroom.that are very clean the deli has fresh meats and very reasonable prices. Oh .... Theyre vegetables fruits are excellent nice location very convenient and very nice employees nice Safeway...

I was looking for a hand basket. Could not find them by the doors (both entrances) Asked an employee, he sent me to the other entrance. None to be found. Looked further found ONE by a register. This chase was un called for. Then my cashier was engaging with the service desk and not me. Very busy store.

Had what we needed and the rib eye was fresh and delish

Excellent store. The only issue I have is that they are constantly out of the flavors of soda water I go there to buy.

I have always enjoyed Safeway for the most part, Im kinda detoured from doing my grocery shopping because its definitely one of the most expensive grocery stores in the area I mean the current location of this Safeway its located in a pretty low income area....but whatever its there if you need it....

Rather get kidnapped by the taliban than to pay 3.50 for another one of those breakfast burritos. Great selection for Gatorade.

Just started going to this Safeway a couple weeks ago after moving. So far, I havent encountered any zombies so thats good I guess.

This is a smaller store with very narrow aisles. When employees are stocking shelves or its busy, it can be very difficult to get past them with a cart. I try to avoid weekends and early evening. Some staff is friendly, some not. I dont shop here often but is close to my house.

Most of the items I wanted were not in stock. The discounts that I received at the gas station were much lower than I expected. For some reason, I lost some items that I had won in Monopoly. It was a bad trip!

A little crowded, definitely felt a little nervous due to covid. But the cashiers were behind plexiglass, and we were able to get in and out rather quickly. Pretty good selection for a relatively small store. Parking lot has a few blind spots for pedestrians, so drivers, keep your eyes open!

Older people in the deli area doesnt have good courtesy manners serving people of color. I paid for all I ordered.Be Nice People.

Most unreliable Safeway around. 5 mins from my house but I have to drive 20 to another Safeway because this Safeway never has their Western Union working. Half the time no one is even at the customer service counter and they always close it early. Shameful, don’t offer something you cannot honor.

Pharmacy tried to tell this two war vet suffering heavily in pain with conditions i WONT explain that they will supercede what my Dr said only hours ago. They have ZERO clue why i need my meds. They were NOT present during ANY of the emails, calls, or visits with my Dr. So they have ZERO clue as to whats going on with me. I have ONLY got my medications thru the same Dr for years now. The AUDACITY is disgusting. It wouldve been totally different had they called him or even asked a question. None of that happened. They just decided. But it boils down to they dont care! They KNOW so they decide. They didnt even try calling my Dr to understand anything! Freaking BRILLIANT! Avoid if your health depends on it - as mine does.

This location may be smaller and a little older than the other up Murray but the staffs friendliness totally makes up for it. Always nice and willing to help and just make things enjoyable!

Use this store on a regular basis. The lines get a tad long for my liking, but it gives me an opportunity to practice patience.

Update review: changing my one star to three. Checkers are much more friendly now and it feels a bit more welcome! Also the people at the pharmacy are always very nice.This store has the RUDEST checkers, I know you guys are fed up with the nasty people COVID has created but yeesh I’m always really nice to ya’ll and you’re still rude to me no matter what 😭 I’m just getting my groceries rung up and trying to be polite and they have so much attitude for no reason and I don’t understand why! I used to be a checker myself!I used to use this store all the time since it’s right next to my place but recently I’ve been doing everything I can to avoid it and only come in when I need a few things and don’t want to drive to Fred Meyer/Trader Joe’s.The lady who works the self check out stands usually in the late afternoons is very nice though!

Friendly helpful employees. Good prices. Clean store. Walked off and left my cell phone, and they held it for me. That sounds very normal, but these days thats really honest. And Im grateful.

Someone please take care of the bathrooms. They need attention badly. Everything broken and dirty.

Great cake selection- no one was on the bakery while we were there (evening) but the cakes were all beautifully done.

Nice clean store with friendly staff and decent prices. The bakery has the best in house made donuts and cookies of anywhere I know.

Love this store, the meat department bakery is good; pharmacy is convenient and has inoculating pharmacists, but some times they could sure use some help.

Im giving safeway 4 stars because its so different than the other ones I used to go to. Took for ever to find stuff didnt get everything needed in the time alloted.

Hot deli is never stocked for dinner crowd! Spring rolls were like theyd been sitting a long time!

I USED to shop here all the time until Janet listened to gossip from a narcissist that abused my family and told Janet lies. So, what did Janet do? She began to treat me and my daughter horribly whenever we came in! I mean really bad! I feel like I am in high school again and believe me it wasnt fun the first time because of girls just like Janet! I dont need this drama when I am just trying to buy my groceries! Plus, Janet certainly doesnt know the truth or she would be ashamed of herself! Good job scaring customers away Janet!!!!!!

Decent prices, good deli I just wish the meats were sliced fresh, a lot of times you can tell it sat there a while. Nice butcher block and good produce, my only gripe with the produce area as the way they display the bell peppers, as it makes it harder to grab the ones you want, and many times iv seen them fall to the floor, iv hear many customers complain while trying to get them. They have a large wine and beer selection, and a nice sized bakery. Staff is always nice and helpful.

Lines are always super long to checkout. On 5$ Fridays you should have plenty of dark meat ready at the deli yet every Friday I seem to see people waiting for the chicken to be made, while half the case is full of white meat no one is buying.
