Lots of beautiful hand dyed yarns!

I have ordered yarn a couple of times now from Nitro Knitters. Each time the items were shipped quickly and i received shipping and delivery updates. They are fast at processing the orders! The flat rate shipping is cheaper for me than gas and time spent driving. Very happy to buy from this store!

SUPER friendly and helpful. Came in after I went to another store that didnt have what I was looking for, and they recommended this place to me. The clerks immediately were eager to help me find the unique pick of yarn I wanted. They offered to wind my yarn as well, without me even asking. Deeply appreciated!

This shop has a great selection of all different types of fibers at various price points. The staff is also lovely and very helpful! I am a novice, but I did not feel overwhelmed given that the staff are approachable and happy to answer questions.

I really like this yarn shop! It has a good selection of popular and local brands at a wide variety of price points, so theres something for everyone! They also have a good amount of supplies. Staff are friendly and I like that they have lots of store samples clearly marked with what pattern was used, where it can be found, and the yarn used.

This is by far my favorite yarn store in the Portland area! Nitro Knitters stocks beautiful and well-priced yarn, with a focus on great value without sacrificing excellent quality. They seek out locally hand-dyed yarn and have a wonderful selection. If you are wondering what to make with the beautiful yarn you find, you will draw inspiration from the vast array of finished projects they have displayed throughout the store. The best thing about Nitro Knitters, though, is the staff! They are all so friendly and knowledgeable and the classes are fantastic. I am a novice knitter, but my confidence and skills have really improved because of the encouragement and help I receive from my knitting instructor. Nitro Knitters is a must-visit store if you are a knitter or crocheter!

Great shop. It is well laid out, the staff is friendly, the yarns are to die for! They offer all different skill level classes.

I really love Nitro Knitters! The staff is always friendly and helpful but also willing to let me browse quietly instead of chatting my ears off, something that is much appreciated. If I come in with a problem I get very practical advice that really helps. The prices are on par with other local yarn stores, imo. The selection may be smaller than other shops in the area, but I appreciate that because I get very overwhelmed by too much clutter and too many options. I really appreciate how many local yarns N.K. has and I also like that they carry some lower cost options so that I can support a local shop instead of the big box places and still not break my budget. Plus there is no way Im buying the delicious Cannon Hand Dyes for my kids mittens! Thanks for not making me go to Michaels!

A great lys! Very friendly staff, who have gone WAY out of their way to help me, on more than one occasion (Yay Kate, Anne and Rachel! 👏😀). Super convenient location. Beautiful, large selection of yarn with a wide variety of price points. Lots of different kinds of needles and crochet hooks, and about the largest selection of notions Ive seen in awhile!

This cute, cozy LYS has very limited - although very nice - yarn selections, including workhorse lables like Cascade Yarns, as well as harder-to-find local luxury lables like Bumble & Birch. Needle selection includes a range of fixed and interchangeable needles from makers such as KnitPicks and Knitters Pride, available in lots of sizes. There is also a robust selection of crochet hooks (also from Knitters Pride) and notions, as well as a very small selection of project bags. Overall the prices tend to be higher than at other area shops, but the clearance items are priced to sell!

Always find what I need, and the staff are so helpful!
