Not all UPS Stores are the same! Had previously printed invitations on my own paper at another location, no issues. Went to this location since it was on the way home from work. Walked in and it instantly did not feel welcoming. After being told “we can’t do that here.” I left and went to the other location the next morning. No issues, took my paper and will be ready on Monday. I will go out of the way to visit the one who is accommodating, so welcoming & helpful.

Have you ever walked in a business, and the person behind the counter seems annoyed that you even walked through the door? I walked in yesterday, I heard annoyedly Ill be with you in a minute. After 5 full minutes of waiting, and no eye contact or anything, I asked when shed be able to see what I needed. When that made her snap back, Im with another customer, Ill be you when I can I decided Id rather go to the post office, and you know what? I had an amazing experience with the two lovely people behind the counter. Who knew? I also saved 50% on the shipping, and it will get there sooner.

Stopped by here for the first time to send a package and some returns. I believe it was a mother/daughter team working that day, and they were so great I had to let the Google world know. They were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and had wonderful senses of humor. On a day filled with boring (no offense) errands, it was a bright light to have some human connection engaged with as these lovely women did. I no longer dread shipping errands!

Least helpful employee. Young blonde guy couldnt be bothered to help clarify what I needed to do to return some packages. Wasnt terribly complicated but I dont ship things out often and the lack of care was really a bummer. The manager who came out later to help me with printing some shipping labels was sweet. Thank goodness she was there. The man at the counter should get a job elsewhere if he isnt going to care about helping people out. Again, not asking a lot, and not much was said between us so there wasnt an altercation by any means. But jeez, care a little bit?

This is where I go for big CAD prints and invitations. The owner, Irum (who is almost always there) spent a lot of time helping me fix some wedding invitations before printing them, at no extra cost. She’s always been kind and helpful and consistent.

I came in a few days ago and was helped by Dillon, he was very respectful and helpful. The customer in front of me was being rude and Dillon handled it like a pro! I had mulitple items that needed to be packaged and shipped and there was a line out the door. He was very patient and professional! Kudos to Dillon for doing a great job. Keep up the great work. UPS is my go to place for all my shipping needs.

I dropped by one evening to get a shipping quote. The employee was kind, patient and helpful. The next morning I dropped my item off for packaging and shipping. I brought my item off, I had the quote on hand, and said I have a quote from last night if it is helpful, the response was that Quotes are only good for 24 hours! delivered with a ton of attitude. This person seemed to have some bad attitude problems and was not treating the item I dropped off with very much care. Many reviews seem to reference this employee. The owner must not be aware of the problem, or perhaps there is nepotism.For three days the tracking system stated that my label was printed and waiting to be tendered to UPS. Whenever I called the store told me that my item had just been packaged and would be put on a delivery truck by 5:30. This cant be true several days in a row. My item was sort of bulky and difficult to pack, I would understand if that was the holdup, but being lied to is not acceptable. My item will arrive at its destinations three days after it was estimated. I understand an estimate is not a guarantee, but given all the lying, its sort of hard to forgive.Reading through the owner responses is pretty amusing, I cant wait to read mine.

I have had a PO box at this store for 2 years, and love doing business with them. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful, and her staff always do their best. I love the personal service they give me, and they look out for my mail kindly - this is the kind of service you want from a local small business.Regarding the negative reviews about the staff: I have personally witnessed people trying to bully the staff into doing things they are not able to do (like print out your amazon returns slips for you), so please take those reviews with a grain of salt.As for package rates, all stores that are not the US Post Office charge a little more... you pay it so you dont have to stand in line there, and you get to choose between carriers. If you want rock bottom prices then go to the post officeThis is a lovely small business that is doing their best to provide a critical service in the middle of the pandemic. Please take a breath and bring some kindness in with your package.

Dishonest in my opinion. I was there to drop off a return mechandise with a prepaid label. The short lady put it on the scale where the previous customers item was still there. I thought shes only scanning it, but the receipt showed a much higher weight (at least 30% more) compared to what the package was. In my opinion, this is equivalent to stealing, and being another parasite of the society because they know people wouldnt notice or care since the merchants will be the ones footing the bills. Now the owner will probably come back and just claim a one time honest mistake. But I wouldnt buy it. In my experience, often times, management sets the expectation of how employees behave, and in a small business like this, sometimes the owner and some of the emloyees are connected, and can even be the same party. People can decide for themselves whether this is a one time accident or not.

I was very pleased with the help I got here. Had so much trouble printing a job at home with a new program. I had 24 hours to get things printed. Irum was such a wonder. My favorite UPS store! The owner and her staff always give top quality service, even when the place gets busy. While other shipping stores have limited their hours/services during the COVID situation, this store has kept going as usual which is a big help to small businesses that rely on UPS. Their prices are fair and the location is easy to get to.

The cheapest option to ship my item was USPS first class at $17.45, plus almost $4 for a box.I asked about priority flat rate options and I ended up paying $17 for a USPS priority padded flat rate envelope. Normal cost for this is $8 at the post office. I do not recommend going here.Edit 9/4Called the store to check on my package yesterday because tracking information had not been updated. The owner immediately asked if I was “the one who had written the review.” She became very defensive when I asked when the package was shipped out and I had to explain that I was not accusing them of anything, but just checking when USPS picked up the package.She challenged that the padded flat rate envelope costs $8, even though I had just checked with the post office. She justified her high markup because it is a small business. I am not asking for a free box or the same prices as the post office, my complaint is that the prices are over double the post office price.Overall a bad experience and her attitude on the phone did nothing to change my mind.

Just dropped in to put tape and return an item to Amazon. Brought the pre-paid label. The moment this Indian lady saw me, she asked me to put the tape myself. Then I requested if I can get some beanies to fill the bag, she said buy a packet and then do it ($3.50). I am willing to pay for the only used beanies not for an entire pack. Needless to say I left. History - I use the UPS store in Bethany Blvd where customer service is 100 times better. I was running out of time returning home and had to stop in between, hence came in here. Will never go to this store again. She needs to learn some manners to work with customers.

The staff here are excellent, friendly, and really go out of their way to help their customers. I came in to ship some books before I moved, and they went out of their way to provide boxes to me to help my move, and even helped me load them into my car. Ive been to many sufficient UPS and other shipping company offices and places, but this place is by far the best one to go to. They were patient, friendly, and took the time to get to know me in my brief interactions with them. It is a shame that I will be leaving the area, as I will not be able to be a customer of this store. I highly recommend it!

At a loss for words. I came in right before closing with my own box everything already paid for. I needed one piece of tape across the the top of my shoebox sized package. The lady in there was taping boxes as I walked in and had a huge roll of tape with a big handle on it. She refused to tape my box unless I gave her a dollar. I begged and pleaded she would not do it. She was incredibly condescending as well... The thing is this gentleman over here just paid $1 to have his box is taped up so how would it look if I charged him and didnt charge you its the ups store you ship things Lady that involves tape. One piece I might add. this was the equivalent of buying a bunch of groceries online from Safeway or something and then when you show up they want to charge you for the bags to carry them home. Is this must be terrible she did a dollar for a piece of tape that bad. And now my god someone get is birthday present on time because this woman doesnt understand the concept of overhead costs I will do my best to never use that service from her again. If it were me I would never dream of charging someone a dollar for a piece of tape I dont care how many packages I taped in the day. Buying those in bulk that piece of tape probably cost her half of one cent. That was a joke

Id like to post UPS Statement in regards to you refusing to release packages. Only 2 points of confirmation are required per UPS. Either a shared last name, or address. They do not require both, or the ID of whose name is on the package.I encourage all facing this issue to report this location to UPS corporate.Ive chose to make this concise. Me and my wife were treated rather poorly and my wife had her ID disposed of by the owner after she told my wife she didnt want to have to deal with us, because Amazon redirects packages to UPS Stores and we were upset because she has created her own rules on releasing the consumers packages.Weve contacted the police and UPS because of our issues and are very upset dealing with a very toxic business owner. I just hope UPS will do something about this.

I have been going here for over 5 years. Recently, I spent 1 dollar per page for 16 pages to be scanned to PDF format. I told the attendant that I needed two different files and she looked at me like I was from Mars and said that there would be a file for each paper scanned. I had the two documents physically separated, but she insisted that I scan all of them at the same time. I also told her some were double sided and some were not. Needless to say, I was charged for blank pages, have one large PDF file with multiple documents crammed into it. 16 dollars later I have a worthless PDF file and need to find another place to scan my documents. Also, the manager does not charge the cheapest rate when mailing packages. Once I insisted that there was a cheaper way to ship internationally and she insisted there was not. Then, due to some technical hangup she was not able to send my package the way she wanted to and then finally decided to go with a cheaper service.. There are other horror stories I have acquired through the years. I have had decent service at times though.

I walked into The UPS Store on Scholls Ferry Rd. a while back and was totally impressed with how well the store is run. They were very good at being attentive to each customer who came into their shop no matter how busy it got. And they do more than just shipping! Earlier this year Irum helped me with binding of two soft cover books. She generously worked my project into the schedule with many other mailing, packaging, shipping, and printing activities occurring in the store at the same time just to meet my timeline. Thank you Irum! I love my books and now they lay flat when opened, and are holding up very well to the continual use. I recommend this store for all your business center needs.

Avoid this store at all costs. Avoid using UPS if possible. I had a package delivered by Amazon held by them for a signature. No big deal. Except it was delivered 4 days earlier than Amazon quoted. So they held it and put a note on my door (after asking a friend to grab it till I got back) that they wont deliver without a signature. I left two messages asking them to call me, second one specifically telling them not to return the package as I will only be in town Sunday and theyre closed. The employees here have zero f***s and sent the package back to Amazon. Thanks for nothing. Put a formal complaint in to Amazon requesting they break ties with UPS.

Charged me for taping a box that took 3 seconds and the girl had a major attitude. She was really snappy and said I either had to buy tape, which was $7, or she had to charge me to put one strip of tape over the box, which would have taken her about 3 seconds.

I am very frustrated that UPS dropped my package off at the annex store instead of my home. Because the annex store is only open during normal business hours, now I need to take time off work just to pick up my package, which defeats the purpose of ordering online and having items shipped. In the future I will be notifying all merchandisers from whom I purchase the great inconvenience that UPS requires of me and I will implore them to use a shipper that is willing to leave items at my door. I can not emphasize enough the inconvenience of requiring people to take time off work, just to pick up packages.

Shipping packages during the Christmas holidays can be a nightmare especially if you wait like I do until the very last minute. The lines and the hours are long and the employees are weary. After years of being the last minute shipper I have come to expect the worst when I make that trip a few days before Christmas. This year (2011) I was so pleasantly surprised when I decided to try a new UPS location for shipping. This location on Scholls Ferry Rd. The staff were helpful and cheerful and more than that there were enough staff members to move the group waiting through the process - paid - out the door. I have made the switch for all of my shipping needs. If they can make holiday shipping this painless I can only imagine what they will do on a normal work day. Glad I found them!

Complete ripoff and poor service. Charged me $28 to ship a letter to another UPS location on other side of town (and had the gall to suggest $120 for next day). Wont take UPS acct numbers despite being UPS Store . Told another patron they cant copy two pieces of paper because WiFi is down. Shipped my pc with them, I put alot of money down for insurance. Ended up getting to me with a broken motherboard, I contacted them. My claims was supposed to be processed and my pc fixed within a week, 2 months later, and me calling them everyday very respectfully, and because I was missing my computer which I need for school, Irum the owner told me none of this would be happening if I didnt dump my computer on them, she said it was my fault and then hung up on me. She ignored every single on of my calls after that, and my voicemails. I work in customer service and I never leave reviews, this hurt me so bad and was such a horrible experience I will never forget it. Maybe if she ever pays alot of money for something and it breaks and then she has to follow up with someone everyday and they wont ever call back like they promise or provide atleast frequent updates, she would know how it feels. She didnt even respond to my emails, nothing. I just am speechless. Do not do business here and if you do dont expect good customer service with Irum. Im out of a 1000 dollar computer and what was it, 400 for shipping and insurance. Horrible.UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:They took my pc from my house while I was gone, I never refused an on site inspection, in fact, the onsite inspection was delayed and cancelled on me multiple times. You guys never call to update me, respond to my emails or voicemails but you can leave a very detailed review response. It just confirms that the customer service is severely poor. You guys still have my expensive pc sitting up there, and I still dont know whats going on because you refuse to answer my calls or call me. Put yourself in my shoes.

Lost or Stolen Package, failed investigation, over 30 days and still no compensation.I want to put this review more toward UPS than the UPS Store itself. And I gave 3 stars, because average splits the difference.February 2016, I sent a fine art canvas to near San Diego. Tracking said it was delivered, buy the addressee said no package was there. I notified UPS by March 3rd. By March 15th, UPS said they tried to contact the addressee unsuccessfully, and closed the investigation. But the addressee contacted me and said the TRUTH was that UPS had called her. Then I called UPS and they confirmed a botched closure, apparently reopening the investigation. After asking me to provide reciepts for value, the addressee sent me another message saying the UPS driver came to her home stating something like the package may have been delivered next door. That statement by the driver seemed to negate proof of delivery.April 7th, the lady at the UPS Store said compensation was approved, and a check will be sent out.In this case, the greater blame would need to rest with the primary UPS company, because the time was doubled due to incorrectly closing the first investigation.I will still do business with the Beaverton UPS Store at SW Hall x SW Scholls Fy. Rd. And I feel UPS in general is better than Fed Ex from my experience.

Terrible service, rude condescending staff (I think it was an owner)GO TO FEDEX! Theyre cheaper and arent trying to nickle and dime the customer in the interest of promoting an overcharged unnecessary service.I had a prepaid shipping label in PDF format on my smartphone... since its 2016 and PDF is a universal standard format you would expect that any shipping/printing store to easily be able to work with in free email software.Plus, since this shipping label was from UPS there must be some database that could either reproduce it for the individual store without me even emailing it.But no, the UPS Store business model is that I must rent a computer from them and pay them to print out this prepaid shipping label from their own company!If that makes sense to you, go ahead and support this wonderful local business (Im sure those shill reviews are from friends of the owner) If not, it cost me a grand total of $0.14 to email the ups label to the fedex store computer and have it printed. It would have cost me anywhere from 10-20 times that amount to just get UPSs own stinkin prepaid label printed out at their store.

I have a small business and I needed a print job done in a hurry. I found the UPS Store online and emailed the business with a file of the document and asked if they could print many copies in a hurry. They responded right away, filled the order and called us to tell us it was ready. They saved the day and I couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service. Now, I go there for all my printing and postal delivery needs. The store is conveniently located and it has everything I need.
