My son and husband went into the store. The man behind the counter was rude and disrespectful. He yelled at my son 2 year old son and told him not to touch anything. He accused him of trying touch alcohol that was the reason why he told my son not to touch the product which was a lie. I would never go back in this store again.

Great service and selection.

Extremely rude employee. I came into the store around 10am on 05/25 and the employee was no where to be found. No biggie, I get people get busy and he was probably stocking merchandise in the back or something. I brought my purchases up to the front, smiled at him and said hello. He didn’t say anything and I guess then I should have known not to say anything else to him. To make conversation I said, “no stag session yet huh?” Before I could continue my sentence he cut me off and said “No one has it yet!” If he would have let me continue, he would heard me say that I’ve heard a lot of people have had issues getting it. So I replied to his comment with, “yeah, I’ve heard Schnucks is about the only place that has it so far.” He raised his voice and screamed, “Go buy it and your purchases from there then!” He continued to raise his voice to my amazement. Not really sure why he was getting so upset about it.. l finally cut him off and said, “Hey it really isn’t a big deal man. I was just asking you a question there is no reason to get rude about it and raise your voice at me.” He starts screaming saying he’s not being rude and that he isn’t raising his voice. I calmly tell him that he is and I’m not sure why he is getting so upset and bent out of shape. He screams, “Fine if you think I’m rude I’m not talking to you anymore.” He also refused to give me my receipt. As I left I told him that I really hoped his day got better. He said it would since I was leaving. Another lady witnessed this in the store and she was also looking at him like what the heck is wrong with him. I am honestly astonished with this behavior. I’m new to Belleville and this was my first time in the store. I won’t be back and make sure that my family knows to steer clear.
