I sent an email at 6:30am and got an instant reply about a car we were interested in. Later that night at 11pm I sent another email asking if we could test drive it the next morning, and again, instant reply, saying yes come in and test drive. We went in, test drove (easiest test drive ever, he just handed me the keys) and the car was immaculate. Easily the nicest used car wed looked at so far. We sat down and started the paper work after agreeing on a very very reasonable price, and we drove away within 45 minutes in our beautiful new Accord! We thought to ourselves, that seemed WAY too easy.... so we went out to brunch with the extra time we had and we couldnt be happier with our experience. Absolutely top notch service!

I purchased my vehicle in November. I had gone in with a plan to purchase a specific vehicle, but once I arrived I wasnt sure anymore. The car was in great condition! After months of vague thoughts of wanting a truck, a weekend spent driving my friends Tacoma convinced me it was time to trade in my Element. Purchased a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and on the test-drive, had a 4-Wheel Drive Error. When asking Dory about it, he said a sensor was out and they were replacing it. Phoned me to pick up the vehicle saying it was ready, but the Error was still there. He said he would speak to the mechanic, and now he wont return my call. I took him at his word. Caution; when dealing with this business.

We drove 4 hours to go see a pickup we had seen online and told it was in great shape and complete working order. When we test drive the pickup, we realized the AC didn’t work and it was a Canadian model so has kM for speedometer. They offered to get it re-charged but it didn’t instill a lot of confidence it would work. We noticed several pickups with spray painted beds to cover up a scratches.

Recently purchased a 2013 Toyota Tundra with 70k miles from State Street Motors for $24,000. Its had a few issues:Problem 1: Check engine light came on within the first week. Bank #2 catalytic converter. I got a quote to fix the exhaust at Toyota for $2,300. After going back and forth with State Street for a few days, they offered to fix the truck at Midas with a universal catalytic converter.Problem 2: When I got the truck back, I noticed the drivers side heater was not working. Because it was difficult to defrost and see through the windshield, I stopped driving the Tundra to work and drove my old 95 F150. Again, notified State Street about the issue, they told me its my problem and Id have to fix it. After a few days of negotiation, they agreed to fix it.Problem 3: Check engine light came on again. Cylinder 8 misfire. Ive had the truck for about 7 weeks and 800 miles at this point. Asked State Street if they would fix it, they said no.The truck is currently sitting in my driveway. Ive been driving my old truck to work.I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. My new truck has not been reliable and they have been very difficult to work with. I dont think a $24,000 vehicle should have these issues.

However, when we came to State Street Motors, it was a very different experience. We worked mainly with Nick and Dory, but the entire team was extremely accommodating and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the car and that they had taken care of any requests/questions we had before purchasing. They are willing to go out of their way to help you out. When it comes time for us to purchase our next car, State Street Motors will be one of the first places we check out.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at State Street. I was in the market for three months before I found what I was looking for. The rig I wanted was still in transit, and Dory went out of his way on several occasions to deliver ahead of schedule. I found the Jeep I had been looking for on auto trader and the price and mileage was the best price I had seen. so I called and wanted to verify it was truly what was advertised and Dory assured me that it was not a typo and not a rebuilt title. dory negotiated on price and we both agreed on a price over the phone and got him all our paperwork to make the process easy when we would arrive at the dealer. after arriving at the dealer and seeing the jeep in person it was more that what was expected and very clean. my wife and 2 kids were in the dealership for 10min and everything was completed. Dory was very low pressure, and extremely helpful. Our car-buying experience was incredibly smooth. What really impressed me, however, was the service we received after the purchase. Our car had been imported from Canada, and Dory went out of his way to remind us to come in and replace the dash cluster (which he did for free.) Even offered a free car wash.

I found the perfect truck online (year, price, miles...) but 2 hours North. 1 trip to check it out and another day to pick it up. I went in looking for some type of AWD sedan; yet not sure as to what make or model. Being skeptical of used car, lots I went in to state street motors very doubtful I was going to find something in good condition that I liked. After browsing the lot for not more than 5 minutes I was greated by Dory - the lead salesman of the lot. He introduced himself, I told him I was looking for an AWD sedan and my price range. He pointed me the direction of a few cars in my category and he told me the history and and answered whatever questions I had to ask. I noticed a car that that really caught my eye, he got the car out and sent me on a test drive. I came back and he noted the car was in fact RWD which bummed me out. To my surprise he told me of a car he was getting on the lot that would be an AWD extremely similar to the one I admired and still in the similar price range. I came back a few days later and sure enough there was a car that I immediately fell in love with and purchased that day hassle free.I have owned the car for a little over two weeks and have not had a single issue. Dory is an extremely trustworthy guy and delivers his word, he is all about customer satisfaction.At state street motors they do not treat you like customers or even guests, they treat you like family.I will be coming back for my future vehicles and will be recommending any other future buyers.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my car buying experience at State Street Motors. I’ve purchased cars from Honda, Chevy and even Subaru and always dread the experience because they typically make you sit and wait for hours and hours only to walk out of there unsure if you made the right decision. They never really budge on the price or give you a decent trade in. I hate it. They pretend to get you the best rate even though it usually isn’t that great. That was not my experience at State Street Motors. Dory had been messaging with me but I ghosted him for a day, unsure I was ready to jump into a car payment before the new year. I thought maybe the vehicle sold so I decided to email Dory and stop by the dealership since I was already in Bellingham. Dory made time for me right away. He was the farthest from a pushy car salesman. He answered all my questions and gave me honest advice. No pressure. To be honest I was so comfortable I didn’t even drive the vehicle before purchasing it. I really had no intention of buying that day, I was just stopping by to look but loved it and everything felt right. Dory literally had me in and out of the dealership in 45 mins. His employee was also extremely kind and they both made me feel like I won a million dollars (I think I even told them that 😂 ). I will always recommend State Street Motors to all my friends and family. I feel like I got a really good deal on my new Acura and I got a much better trade in than I expected. My monthly payment is low and I have my dream car. Oh and just yesterday Dory messaged me that he ordered me an extra key for my vehicle.
