In June 2020, GrowSource delivered 15 yards of their 3-way garden soil to my home.When I called them about the horrifically strong acidic smell in the soil -- as if it had been kitty litter for many months -- they said that was normal. It wasnt.Quite frankly, I believe what I got was pure sand because nothing grows in it, so it clearly isnt garden soil.Last week, I had 15 yards of 3-way garden soil from North Hill delivered to my home. It smells like it contains compost, is much looser, and the wildlife/birds are all over it. I have no doubt things will grow in it.I dont like to give businesses like GrowSource bad reviews because I support what they do. But this was just too far beyond the pale to let slide.

They were able to put me on the schedule within a few days and, not only delivered the gravel in a timely manner, but also spread it out for us very evenly. The driver was very nice as well. I will happily be using them again the next time we need more gravel.

Fast, friendly, convenient, good quality. I pulled up with my utility trailer and a tarp. Got 2 yards of their tri-mix soil and was out of there for about $70 in 10 minutes (mostly because I was securing the tarp). Impressive!

Customer service is always great, but the compost is no longer any good. The last couple years it has been less and less compost, and now is essentially bark. It is not actually finished. And to top it off, this year it is full of MICROPLASTICS. Pretty gross.

Do not plant into their compost. It is not finished compost, it is mulch and it pulls nurtrients away from your plants to break down if you plant directly into it. They should not advertise it as compost. After applying 1 inch to my no dig compost garden, everything I planted was stunted and yellowed within days. Their only response when I called was that most people dont plant into compost and let me tell you, that isnt accurate and what you sell is not finished compost.

The absolute best place for landscape and garden soils in the region. If you need a garbage can full or 10 yards delivered. Their lot well ordered and they process your order with accuracy and efficiency.

I found Growsource, and its owner, to be reputable and honest in commercial dealings. While a miscommunication led to our rejecting a delivery, our issue was handled in a professional and expeditious manner. In the future, I hope that Growsource offers veganic options. Until then, I still endorse this business as principled and fair.

Growsource is a great Outlet with very good service. The woman in the booth is always friendly and outgoing. Today we inadvertently loaded the wrong product into my trailer. When I asked if it was correct the man running the equipment got off the equipment and said Ill be right back and shoveled all of the gravel off and gave me the proper product. Well beyond the Call of Duty thank you!

I recently went to Grow Source and had a great experience. I rolled into their lot right after they closed. Both workers were already at their vehicles and ready to leave. I asked for a load of top soil and they were happy to go out of their way to accommodate me even though they were technically closed. It was only a couple minutes, but it saved me an extra trip and it was much appreciated!

Great place to get bulk materials. I get compost, black bark and playground chips here. Even if you dont have a pickup truck, you can load your own containers. And of course they deliver.

Im not a soil expert but these guys are always friendly and reasonably priced. We purchase wood chips, mulch and compost on an annual basis and its always in stock.

Tons of soil of different types of mixture/quality. Bring your truck and theyll dump it in. Pay at the booth. Quick service and very popular.
