We used Jameco in a recent prototype build. See attached Fotos.Very nice team to be honest! Help Desk went out of their way to assist us, way beyond selling us or resolving a shipping issues. Help Desk actually assisted with our PCBs, offered some programming help, directed us to several EE resouce websites that we were unaware of,,,Again, Very Nice Help Desk Team at Jameco! Lastly, the parts came strait away, great prices, speedy shipping, no issues. We Strongly Recommend Jameco for white paper test bench prototype builds!

The customer service is spectacular at Jameco Electronics. I had communications with them about some parts and they persisted in answering my question quickly, Way above average in opinion. Oh, and the prices at Jameco are really good too. Thank you Victoria, I appreciate your help.

They said they had 9 SubMini On-On switches I desperately need for a project, but I guess they gave the other 7 to someone else at some point over the weekend. Now Im getting two out of the 9 I need. Wow, thats no different any of the major suppliers--they reserve the right to change your order at will. But if you think about it, thats completely useless, and kind of inhumane--so many projects remain at a standstill. It just proves they do not care about the human behind the order. At least Tayda has ON-NONE-ON which may work, and it will ship here in the same amount of time from Thailand, though I live a few blocks away from Jameco. Try Tayda! Avoid Jameco!

I just placed an online purchase for a $16.95 power supply and was charged $3.22 tariff plus tax. I dont understand when purchasing within the US why I am paying a tariff and why it is 1/3 the price of the item. I will go elsewhere for my electronics in the future.

I have been buying from Jameco Electronics for as long as I can remember. They have great products at very reasonable pricing. One time I had a damaged item and they were very quick to send out a replacement right away without hesitation. And buying on line is super easy. I could buy electronic parts from a lot of other on-line companies but Jameco is great.

This is the perfect hobbyist electronics distributor. Their postage costs are minimal and typically after placing an order I receive it the very next day (yes, I live in CA but still thats amazing). A real person immediately answers the phone if you have any problems and there are no restocking fees. This is absolutely the first place I would ever go to find any electronic part(s).

Jameco is obviously one of the, if not the, leading electronics dealer in the Bay Area. There have been times when I have placed orders in their store and the parts were ready within 2 minutes of the order. Everyone who works there is extremely kind, the engineers have helped me answer questions about parts that I was debating on, and they even are starting to memorize my name.If you havent ordered from Jameco before, I strongly encourage it.

Was running out of time and needed to buy electronics off a shop, went to Google and got this address and headed that way. Was glad I did got the things I needed for our various projects in Ai, IoT, they had a Raspberry pi project on display not sure how I missed the picture in my phone was lovely. And was suppose to get a discount as an NGO was not sure how the lady who attended to me missed it out. But liked the product I got.

Jameco is one of those vendors with whom I have continued a long and productive relationship over many years. The trend has always been upward although about five years ago they reached a consistent high level from which it would be difficult to imagine additional improvement. Over these past five years, 100% of the items on my orders have been delivered on time, in good condition, at fair prices and as described in their catalog or on their Web site.As an experimenter, inventor and product developer, most of the time Jameco has the parts I need so I check with them first. Perhaps 10% of the time, I need an item they do not carry so I go to my second-tier vendors. While one might suggest that an expansion of their product line would be a good thing, I prefer their excellence in managing what they do choose to stock.In my experience, Jameco has been a great company with which to do business and I see no reason to believe that will change.

My company has been dealing with Jameco since before 1998 and I have personally been buying from Jameco since 2006 over the internet. It is by far one of my easier vendors to work with and the few times Ive had any problems with an order, it was handled immediately, with no hassle. Strongly recommend this company.

Was here previously and there was no minimum order charge. Now there is (for walk in, will call, etc). Was charged extra for my will-call without me knowing about this change, basically doubling my total cost.Also refused to let me buy additional things to make up for the minimum order.If old customers are valued, change in charges should be made known clearly, not simply adding a other charge automatically. Will not recommend to anyone unless this workflow is fixed.

Always top notch. I need parts fast for my job, and these guys usually get it to me next day. Granted, I live and work in the sf bay area, but still, always the best. The place for MCUs and amazing grab bags.

This is the best place in the bay area to purchase electronic components. They keep good inventory of most of what you need. If you are into diy electronics, get familiar with Jameco and they will treat you well.

Jameco has unique products that I cant find at other larger suppliers, their shipping is fast, and prices are reasonable. They can use USPS for shipping which for small light orders saves a lot over UPS and Fedex. Customer service is excellent, and their web interface allows me to save items I order regularly which saves me time. I have had to return one shipment and Jameco refunded my money promptly with no headaches.

I have been a customer of Jameco Electronics for over thirty years. In all those years I have only returned items once. The RMA was received in good time and my refund was issued promptly.

Nice people but they make mistakes. Mislabeled items and sending wrong products. I ordered a half a dozen times and had problems half the time.

Good luck getting them on the phone or on chat to do anything, like checking on an order... Other than that, good.

I love it that theres a local electronics distributor thats two steps up from Frys and Radio Shack.I can order online, and head down an hour later to pick it up.The only thing missing is opening Saturdays... (well, and if they had the size of inventory that Digi-Key does, thatd be sweet, too -- but its still pretty good as-is!)

I have been ordering electronics parts from Jameco since the 1970s and have never had any problems; orders have always been accurate, well-packaged, and arrived within just a few days even with the lowest-cost shipping option.

Ive been using Jameco for a couple decades now. I love the will call option it has gotten me out of more than a few jams.

I bought an alarm project for my son to teach him about micro controllers but the project was so poorly designed it only turned him off. The problem is that Jameco will replace parts from the ones advertised and will not update the schematic.I would not buy any kit project from these guys again!
