Excellent store. Employees are smart, friendly, and go out of their way to help the customers. And when I speak to them, they always know what theyre doing. Couldnt recommend this store enough.

Shopped there for years, especially for specialized screws, nuts & bolts & sometimes specialized packaged tools/equipment. Also has the Frost Top brand of soda pop which I like for its taste & classic mix combinations. Elmwood location is 15min from my house. Theyve added a new wheelchair accessible entry pad at front that looks good.

Employees are always helpful. I like that they have a small engine repair shop on site and cost is reasonable.

They are very helpful and I appreciate them because they were very nice and they made my dad fathers day great

I went to the Christmas Tree Lot located in Aces parking lot. Was very happy with my tree purchase and also bought a cemetery arrangement. The guy was very friendly & helpful! (Even when it was a horrible windy, rainy, cold day) Glad I stumbled across this place. Will be driving to Beloit next year to make another tree purchase. ( I did add extras to the greenery arrangement)

Its a little old and long in the tooth and its not as big and fancy as some of the other hardware stores but it has been here for decades and sometimes it has better deals than Amazon or anywhere else. When you need something hardware-related or maybe homewares dont forget Ace.

What makes this different from the one downtown is it fix lawnmower and grass trimmer etc. However it has everything you need. Customer service is very good. Prices are high but use coupon and sales to make reasonable and fair. Excellent key making shop. They Repair Screens, windows, and sharpen tools. If you need equipment the have a tool loan area so you can get the job done.

Why didnt I go to Ace in the first place?! After looking at four different stores, I called and yes they had the special water heater element size that I needed. The manager was so nice and explained everything I needed to do to replace them. Very very helpful! Thanks!!!

One of my favorite stores for home repairs.

I recently purchased 2 gallons of Royal paint in Portland Twilight (gray) and have had a terrible experience. The paint was extremely thin and didn’t cover at all. It contained primer and was painted over a somewhat similar green shade. I expected to cover in one coat. After two coats, I’m still not satisfied and may need to do a third. I finished the job with some Royal paint of the same color left over from another project, and oddly enough it covered in one coat. Did I get a bad batch or did the formula change? Anyway, I will never use Royal paint again.

They were not enforcing the face masking mandate. I felt uncomfortable there, although in the past I have had good service.

The staff are always helpful in finding what you need, even when you are not sure exactly yourself. You can describe what you think it is, and they will most likely find it. Prices are what you expect for the quality of service you receive. Great clearance sales, and free popcorn.

Theyre lacking the knowledgeable staff they had in the past. Many younger people with no on hand experience. If you dont know what your after good luck.

Easy access helpful staff

Today was great been working on a quick disconnect solution for my sink in the kitchen about a week now. The fellas of ACE by the hospital in beloit helped me like no other...still in the dog house but at least I got a snack thanks again.

Had issues with my chainsaw. Mechanic was very helpful and friendly.

Not very customer focused. Waiting behind employee checking out to check a rental in. Told to go to the customer service counter. No one there. I waited a while and then went back to the original cashier. The manager who was doing something in the aisle was asked to help. Be more customer friendly and helpful and your sales will improve.

Cant remember why I went there but never had a bad experience there.

This is a go to place for any type of home projects. I just visited for pipe fittings and cutting and they did an excellent job. Staff is always willing to help and I prefer this store over Menards or home Depot.

I was referred to this hardware store that they had the best steel repair technicians available. I started walking towards their service center and 2 guys immediately took my leaf blowrs and I was in-and-out of there within 20 minutes with 2 new repaired leaf blowers before I knew it! amazing service great guys!
