I used general glass to make 8 glass shelves for my new kitchen cabinets. They were very knowledgeable and the lady at the customer service desk knew just what I needed. She made everything so easy which I really appreciated. The shelves are perfect and their service was fast. The fabricator was so nice to bring the order out to my car and put it in my trunk. I have used them in the past for mirrors for the back of a piece of furniture and I plan to use them again. I thought their pricing was also reasonable. Thank you.

I called numerous glass shops in the DC metro area and General Glass was by far the best price and provided exactly what we needed.

Very pleasant person waited on me and answered/checked on all my concerns. My repair will be ready in a couple of days.

Check in at shipping dock. Move your tandems all the way up. Tight 2 lane business area. May need to turn around on next street make backing easier.

I have been a customer for years. They are our go to company for custom small batch glass. They have the best prices of any glass supplier that we have dealt with, and their customer service is professional. I would consider this more of a whole sale outfit, or business to business, I suppose. Thanks Susan for all the help.

Cut off by someone in one of their trucks who didnt use a turn signal and then he flips me off. Unfortunately this is my only experience with their business but whoever was driving clearly didnt care that he was advertising rude behavior which only leads me to wonder how they handle their business.

I called after getting a recommendation for it from a contractor. The customer service is friendly enough (though they tend to rush me off the phone) and they asked me a lot of questions to be sure they would be able to order the correct replacement glass for my broken porch door. Their price for the glass was competitive but with delivery it felt a little pricey.In the end I discovered that while General Glass could order new glass for my door, I could get it with less hassle and for less money from Lowes (where the doors were purchased).

This guys suck as well. They installed a door that later failed a year later. The work was under warranty and they fixed it. A year after that we have the same problem. Now we are out of warranty and the tech comes back and says whoever fixed this before did a bad job and it was doomed to fail...Oh really but of course the company says they cannot validate those comments and I still must pay for the work. What a racket!

Great prices and costumer service

Hopefully they dont work like they drive. I had one swerve in front of me in bumper to bumper traffic on 495. Then sarcastically waved at me when I honked!

We found this place because it seemed convenient and decently priced. When we ordered the mirror, we told them that the place we needed the mirror was up two flights of stairs and that the stairwell was large. They said no problem, and that the delivery would be $100.On the delivery day, one guy came to bring up the mirror. He said he didnt know that it would be up two flights of stairs. He also said he would need another person to help him. Now, even if we needed it on the first floor, the mirror is so large that he wouldnt have been able to carry it himself. He should have already have has a second person with him. The folks in their office clearly didnt share the appropriate information with the delivery guys, and instead of taking responsibility for it, they took it out on us, the customer.So not only did they not deliver on the date promised, they charged us over $200 for 2-3 guys to bring our mirror upstairs. It took them less than 8 minutes to bring up the stairs. Once they did so, they left it there. They wouldnt put it on the wall for us or anything at all. $200 for delivery only, a late delivery.The severe lack of professionalism from their receptionist, Nataky made me sick to my stomach. We gave them all the details before hand when asking for a quote. If I knew they would be late and charge $200 for delivery only, I would have no doubt went to a different business. When I tried to understand why we were being charged more for their mistake/lack of communicating with their staff, I received no explanation besides that this is just the price and that was it.Save your money and prevent a headache. Dont do business here. I did not receive the basic level of honest customer service. There are too many other places nearby where you can get reasonable service with integrity than to waste your hard earned money and time here. I really regret doing business with them. I do not recommend it to anyone, they have only one person who will take the measurements of your shower and that person is not responsible never arrives or does not answer the phone ..... very bad service ...
