Rooftop Designs was the company I selected to both repair and replace my roof after suffering some damage during a recent microburst event in my area. My roof was reaching the end of its useful life anyway, so I combined the two projects. Besides getting a professional installation at a reasonable price, I was VERY interested in getting the best warranty that I could so that I would not have to be worried about another roof replacement in my lifetime. After much research and comparison, of both the products and the available warranties, I chose the Certainteed system and Rooftop Designs for my job. From the beginning, Rooftop Designs was very professional, from presentation of the product and choices available to me through removal of my old roof and gutter, repair of the damaged parts, and installation of my new roof and replacement of the damaged gutters, through cleanup of the job site. They started the job earlier than scheduled, completed the roof repair and replacement in one day, and kept me informed at every step of the way, with pictures, so that I could better keep my insurance company informed. I will definitely recommend this company in the future to my friends, family and associates for all manner of roofing and gutter work!

We came across the Rooftop designs by paper advertising. We went to many other roofing company but we got what we wanted from rooftop designs. People are very professional and very responsive. We called for the estimate and they came over the weekend and explain everything in detail with price and material, and provided written estimate. We are very happy with price and material they used. Moreover, when we have signed the contract, they gave us earliest available date. Installers came on time on the day of installation and finished all the work within a day. They took proper precautions while demolition of old roof, and cleaned up after they were done installing new roof. Really great service and product. Definitely recommend rooftop design.

I would absolutely recommend Rooftop Designs! Larry and Mike were thorough throughout the whole process of installing new shingles and sidings for my 1200 square feet home, from our initial call to the completion of the project. I am very pleased with the outcome of my new home!The crew was great. They were friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned up. They came early and removed the old and installed new shingles in one day, then two weeks later, another crew came and removed the old and installed the sidings in one day. After installing the sidings, the crew even replaced my light fixtures and security cameras back, which isnt required for them to do.One of my neighbors even ask one of their crew members for a business card, so hopefully, my home will inspire more neighbors to renovate their homes.

On July 31st I had a siding job completed by Roof Top Design and 3 months earlier I had a new roof put on. I was extremely satisfied with both services and they did an Outstanding job. The sales person Israel was amazing everything that was put in the contract I saw on my roof and siding. The manager was so helpful through out the process. Great company check them out if interested in getting both of these services.

1. I notified your office coordinator early on about the flat roof roofing material issue. I asked one of you associates to send me a material breakdown for my insurance company which I never recieved. Which was month before you got involved.2. The skylight issue was never brought to my attention during the install. 3. You all could have just fixed the issues without additional cost to me due to these circumstances.4. Should have offered to fix it and just charged for the new skylight installation. Seeing there is pooling issues as well.5. Replace the warping facia in the front of the house.They had to come back several times. The back extension is leaking. I wasnt informed about the skylight issue prior to installation. And now I found out they used a uninsurable material on my addition. My home owner went from $770 to $2250 because of it. Now they want $2250 to fix it. To be fair they are attempting to resolve these issues. Once completed I will post a followup review. The facia is warping in less then 6 month and when I cleaned my gutters I noticed shingles on the edges are not completely nailed down. Not sure if thats normal.

From the initial inspection and discussing options to the last bit of clean-up after the new roof was installed, everyone involved was terrific. Their pricing was great, their product and its warranty are great, and their responsiveness is great. Use them!

Oh man! From the start to the finish, my experience with Roof Top Designs was great. They answered my quote request on the website on the same day, which was a Saturday. Their sales rep, Mr. A. Baltins visited my home. Sat down to explain how their company worked and what was needed to be done to replace my roof. I never felt that I was pressured. After the end of our 1+ hour conversation, I felt comfortable enough to sign the contract. The roofing materials was delivered the day before the installation. Day of installation: The fellas showed up on time. They were professional, quick and efficient. They had my roof replaced within 3-4 hours with little disruption. And the cleanup was great also.About a week later, my gutters were replaced. Same situation, the workers came early, took little time in installing my new gutters. The gutters are of very good quality with leaf guards installed. I would recommend Roof Top Designs to anyone. Especially my family and friends. Its a no-brainer.

I happened upon Isreal as he was doing a roof consultation with my neighbor. I asked him if he could also take a look at my roof and thank God he did. I had a gaping hole in one of my shingles as if it had been cut. After Isreal finished with my neighbor, he sat down with me, gave me a quote and the rest is history. I procrastinated for a couple years on a new roof installation until my roof began to leak on my 50-year-old home in Alexandria. My roof was over 25 years old and in bad shape. I began to seek quotes in the Northern Virginia area. RoofTop gave me a competitive quote in line with other well-known roofers and a reasonable timeline for the installation. Mr. Mark Whipple visited my home for the initial inspection after business hours accommodating my work schedule. He was thorough and explained his findings, the process, and the cost of materials and installation to me. I felt satisfied and entered into the contract. Soon after I was contacted by Yanni from RoofTop within a couple of days for installation based on when the roofing materials would arrive to my residence. His timeline was accurate, and he followed up closely during the entire installation process. It took just over a couple days for the install due to unanticipated repairs to roof structure but let me tell you, the installers were all over it. The foreman Eric, and his men were motivated, focused on the work at hand, and knew their craft. All debris and trash was removed throughout the installation. Eric answered some technical questions I had and managed the project professionally. It has rained several times since the installation which has given me time to observe and inspect the work. I have no issues with the install or entire experience. I highly recommend RoofTop. Great work!

We had Rooftop Designs replace our poorly installed cedar shake roof in Potomac with a Certainteed designer asphalt shingle. Everything from the quote process, to install, and followup, have all been top notch. They worked neatly, cleaned up thoroughly, and the crew worked very hard and quickly.

Still in the initial phase, but they are a front runner by far. Good quality, upfront, honest with their estimate. Bob came out and laid it out honestly, didnt try and bad mouth the competition (unlike another outfit with a catchy jingle you might recognise), didnt try any sales gimmicks. Unless someone else can knock it out of the park we will be getting a new roof with them.

I chose the Rooftopdesigns to do my roof because the sales rep (Marty) is very knowledgeable and professional, he explained all the detailed steps regarding the roof replacement. The working team started on time and did their job. Except we were promised by Marty as we signed the contract (we told Marty the roof had a history of leaking next to skylight and chimney), therefore the price included replacement of all damaged plywood. As an agreement, the roof replacement team should have shown us the photo of plywood conditions after they removed the old underlayment and shingles, let us know if there any rotten or damaged wood that needed to replace which has never happened, they put the new roof up without info us the condition or replace any plywood. We were quite upset about it.

From start to finish this company was very professional, educated on their product and timely. Had a sales person (Alex Baltins) come out to do a free estimate and blew our shingle right off! He was informed about their awesome products and warranties that the other 2 estimates just didn’t compare. When it come to a big ticket items and such a safety feature for the home you want quality service; they did exactly that. They had torn the old shingles off and replaced parts of the roof that was damaged, AND put new shingles down in a DAY. A few days following, they put up all new seamless gutter. Would recommend this company whole heartedly to anyone in need of a new roof or gutters.

My mother needed a new roof. She called around and had two companies come out to give her quotes. She called me after each one left and she said she felt frustrated because the quotes were extremely high and the men didn’t actually take the time to explain the process. I called Rooftop Designs and spoke with Yanni. He then called my mother and explained the process to her. Then he met her the next day and walked her through the process, cost, and why certain materials would be used. He even explained why certain items needed to be replaced or repaired and showed her the damage. He literally held her hand and walked her through getting a new roof. BLUF - I would use Rooftop Designs again without hesitation or even consideration of any other vendor.I recently researched about 12 different companies from various sources for a roof replacement project in the WDC area, and eventually settled on Rooftop Designs. Without writing a book on what I found and the varying estimates I received, I will tell you that Rooftop Designs (hands down) offered the best price, warranty, timing and overall experience. I was impressed from the start with Larry Gilder, the Senior Product Specialist who came out to survey the project and provide our estimate. While many vendors attempted to up-sell us on additional requirements, suggest long scheduling delays and back-order of materials, that was not the case with Larry. The estimate was straight forward, all inclusive, and with no hidden or unexpected charges. Once we signed the contract, the actual owner of Rooftop Designs, Yanni Avramidis called within 1-2 business days to schedule the delivery of materials and installation. Yanni acknowledged that we had a choice, personally thanked us for selecting Rooftop Designs, and communicated with us directly during the project. Less than 3 days later the materials were delivered and the installation team was on the ground. This incredible team worked for nearly 12 straight hours to finish the project and repair water damage they discovered around our chimney, even though it was out of scope of the contract. The team provided pictures and a recommendation for repair, going above and beyond to ensure my project and house were left in absolute perfect condition. When you spend this amount of money, this is the type of service and level of comfort you want, knowing that you have chosen the right contractor and you will never have to worry about your roof ever again. Clearly that was the case for me, and I highly recommend Rooftop Designs to anyone. Trust me on this one, look no further.

We got two different opinions. Out of the two we had we chose Roof Top Design. When they came to do the work the foreman gave very well instruction and plans. Every question was answered when asked. The people had a nice attitude. All in all Roof came out perfect. Job well done. Few days letter the gutters were put on well. No complaints. I would referee them compared to any other roof top companys first.

We had 19 windows installed by Rooftop Designs, and my wife and I were very satisfied with the quality of service we received. The entire process of meeting the sales representative, placing the order and having the windows installed was pleasant, professional, and all done within the timeframe promised. My wife was especially impressed that the installers took the time to sweep and vacuum after the job was completed. Just had a new roof, gutters, gutter guards and down spouts put on this past week.The house looks great. The work was very professional. The workers were very professional. I highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend Rooftop Designs. I was extremely nervous about having a whole roof replaced. The sales was very patience and explained things in detail. The roof was done quickly and professionally. The owner called afterward to ensure I was satisfied with everything and answered any questions I had. They made the process a lot less scary!

The workmanship, professionalism and pleasantry was excellent. Everything that was discussed in the pre-construction meeting was delivered with top notch quality. The Foreman and construction team were attentive in all aspects and phases of the job. This is definitely a 5 star operation.

The work looks great (subtle dip in roof which is visible mostly at sunrise). Time to complete tasks were a bit longer than expected. A few cleanup issues with some nails here and there and items misplaced. One of the shutters ordered was improperly installed and fell off the next day. The guy never glued it on (at this point I was considering 3 stars). Steve, who is sometimes hard to get to had another guy come out and fix the loose shutters. I ask a lot of questions and add my input which did start to frazzle Steve, but he did his best to reassure me in the entire process. I would settle at a 3.9 star simply because I require perfection for projects (especially big expensive ones) and I feel that they simply did a good job. This company isnt perfect but they are on par with some of the more expensive ones. Steve also helped explain some items to my annoying insurance company (at this point I was considering 4.5 stars).In summary, overall everything looks great, no leaks and is working well 3 months after install. I would use Rooftop Designs again but with more oversight and communications regarding how and when the work will be done and what it should look like. If they improve on communications and strive for perfection down to every last detail, I can see them becoming a #1 roofing company.

The teams did great! Finished entire roof in one day, and the gutters in another. Cleanup was done without missing any nails or material in the yard. They even upgraded our shingles to better quality at no extra cost! Would highly recommend to anyone needing a new roof or gutters!

Very pleased with RoofTop Designs. Sales people came to home to describe and answer questions about the process. Price was very competitive with other offers. Roof replacement took longer than expected due to issues with our old roof, but was still done within a day and a half. Damage under old roof lead to additional cost, but company was willing to work with us on cost and payment options. Would recommend.

The work was great, beautiful new roof! The owner was very professional as were all the gentlemen that came to do the work. They were timely and worked very efficiently. The quality of the work was also great, we had 3 new sky windows installed as well with sun roof remote controlled window blinds. Would recommend to anyone who needs a new roof!

Basically, our 70 year old house needed a new roof as it had started leaking; we got a number of estimates. Their sales person Steve did a great job of explaining the whole process and the products available and their work crew came in and quickly and professionally knocked the job out in a day. The house looks great with its nice new high quality roof:)

They did a good job except for the window frame they broke and did not replace or tell us they broke it. What they did was put caulking around it. Paid all that money for new siding 18 thousand dollars.

We contacted Rooftop and less than a week we had our roof replaced and new gutters installed a week later. The workers were on time and did a very good job on the new roof and gutters. We are very happy with the results.

We recently had our roof replaced by Rooftop Designs. Our home is 41 years old and we had no idea how old our roof was but it was definitely old and due to the wacky weather in Northern Virginia, with severe thunder storms and high winds, it did take its toll on the roof.I decided to get 3 quotes as I had no idea how much this will cost us. We went with Roof Top Designs because after meeting all 3 companies, our impression was that Rooftop Designs seemed to be the most knowledgable. The person that came to see our old roof and give us an estimate knew his stuff. He told us exactly what he recommended, talked about the materials, the process, the warranty, etc-very thorough and also great first impression as we knew this guy was not spewing words but had a real knowledge. We did not want to spend so much money and not feel that we were getting a very professional job that will last for years so that was the first hurdle. When we finally agreed to go with Rooftop Designs, they sent us a detailed contract explaining everything and then called us to schedule a day that would work for us. Their crew came on time, introduced themselves, worked all day (they did not goof off or have tons of breaks!) cleaned up after themselves. We decided to not only do our roof but we also replaced all the gutters and had the newer gutter guards installed. Their work was excellent and we are already considering doing our siding with Roof Top Designs. Excellent company. We highly recommend. The Cheatham Family
