I wouldn’t take my car any place else for a repair. I appreciate that they are very professional, knowledgeable, do my repairs in a timely fashion, fair with the price and never make me feel that I have too many questions. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU WANT!!
The service department is great! I gladly take my truck and my wifes vehicle there for service over anywhere else. But the sales department is horrible. Its a shame because I would like to buy local but I will not buy from them. Ill always take our vehicles there for service though.
They were extremely helpful after I lost my husband. I feel they gave me a fair trade in on the truck, so I traded mine at the same time. Now I don’t have to try to sell the truck on my own, and I have a brand new Ford Edge Titanium. Thank you Bob Lowth,and Todd Moudry.

Ive had my truck in for service and a couple of repairs here. So far I have been pretty pleased. I certainly miss the days when dealerships had loaner vehicles for customers, but gone are those days. It is a little inconvenient for me to get there, but my vehicle has always been serviced by a Ford dealer so I like that they have all of my service records. The people I have encountered here have all been very friendly and helpful. I will be happy to keep bringing my vehicle here for service.

Called day before to get a service done on my truck. Was told I can come in day after to get my service done. I showed up and had a large fifth wheel hooked to my F450. They allowed me to detach in the rear of the lot and wait until my truck was done. They performed the service and some additional request I asked about. Mike was on point with calls while the service was being provided. Thanks guys.
Super unhelpful, appointment was a complete waste of time. Service department basically told us to figure it out ourselves so I’m not sure exactly what they get paid for. Wouldn’t tell us what part we needed and wouldn’t give us an estimate on cost. Told us they didn’t “feel like” helping us find what we needed. Don’t waste your money here, you can find better service pretty much anywhere else.*Edit- now in the replies they have lied about recommending us to go to an RV shop. This was never recommended. They simply could have said “we are not comfortable working on this type of vehicle” and sent us on our way. But that is not what happened. Otherwise I wouldn’t be here writing this review. Don’t let them scam you, or gaslight you about the situation. Stay away :)
I had some body work done on my 2012 Toyota pickup. Star was awesome to work with. The repairs were completed on time and for the amount estimated. I was totally blown away by how clean my truck came back. It hasnt been that good since I bought it new. I highly recommend the Body Shop at Bob Lowth Ford!

I was shopping for a truck and stopped at Bob Lowth Ford to see what they had for used inventory. I made contact with Gerry Reese. I explained to him what I wanted to find and he provided an option immediately. For my case, the monthly payment would have been higher than I wanted to spend. I came back the next day and noticed the truck I ended up purchasing. I took a test drive with Gerry, and truly liked the options that the 2011 Silverado is equipped with. Gerry assisted and was very helpful and honest through every step of the process and I was very pleased to have made this purchase at Bob Lowth Ford. I had an issue with the truck, there was some corrosion in the fuse panel under the hood. This resulted in the battery draining over night. I contacted Gerry and let him know of the issue, he immediately said he would get the truck in to the service department ASAP. Within a business day, my truck had been taken in to the shop and repaired. I have had no issues with the truck since and it has been a great vehicle. I’m very happy with how I was treated as a customer, the lengths the dealership took to ensure I was satisfied with the purchase, and I will return in the future when I’m ready to purchase another vehicle. The other staff at the dealership from the finance manager, business manager, service manager, and office staff were all very courteous, respectful, and a pleasure to do business with and ensured that everything was straight forward in the process. I give Bob Lowth Ford 5 stars, but only because I don’t have the option of giving them 10 stars.

My pickup was dropped off November 26th. I was told that it could possibly be fixed the 27th. I always expect busy work bays in a dealership like this, so time is always needed. I called them November 30th and they said they had a few bays open to work on it and that they would call me by the end of the day to let me know. No call by the end of the day. December 3rd I called and asked again and they said they would be several days out. I retrieved my pickup and hauled it 2 hours back home and fixed it myself.
I scheduled an oil change and brake pad replacement. It turned out I needed more work done and it was still completed in the same day. I appreciated the same day service..

Dude that helped me literally told me I didnt know what I was talking about, even though Id done my research and my normal mechanic had sent me to get this specific work done there because hed figured out it was cheaper for me to do at the dealership. They quoted me about $500 more than they quoted my mechanic with the exact same information. I took my car to Walker ford instead, they actually listened to me, agreed about what the problem was, fixed it, and now my car works perfect again. So despite buying my car from Bob Lowth, I will definitely never go back there again.

When I bought my Escape new in July2017, the climate control was not working. It was the AC. The blower did not work. The AC was on but there was no cool air coming through the vents. I addressed this problem with the service department. They looked into it and said they could not find the problem. So throughout the summer the blower would come on occasionally. I addressed the problem again in the summer of 2018. The service department did nothing. The blower would work when it wanted to, even I had it on high. So now this is my third summer. I did not address this problem with the service department, yet. The AC is on, but the blower is not working, still. I feel the mechanic did not really check and find the problem back in 2017. If they found the problem perhaps the warranty would have covered the cost.
Payed a lot of money year and a half ago for rotors and the brakes wore down so I started doing it myself and I find that the T40 rotor bolts arent even on my rotor. They should have been replaced at Ford, since they did the job last.

We purchased our 2013 F150 V8 4 door 6.5 box at Bob Lowth Ford from salesman Jeff Palmer in July 2015. We love our pickup, it rides smoothly, comfortable to sit in, averages 18 - 20 mpg, has been used to carry lots of building materials. It runs beautifully, outside of basic maintenance like oil changes and new tires we have had no issues with it. We would recommend Bob Lowth Ford, salesman Jeff Palmer, and Fords F150.

The service I received from the folks at Bob Lowth was pretty awesome!! Very friendly staff, and eager to help!! Two things I did NOT like were 1) we had to go inside the office for a salesperson to come out. I personally feel that if you want my business bad enough, youll come to me, the paying customer. Even if it is just to say youre currently busy, be with you as soon as possible. 2) The salesman I worked with was very friendly and showed he knew his job well, but he wasnt knowledgeable on the vehicle of interest. That was almost a no go for me. You should know about the item your trying to sell. But he was honest and upfront about not knowing! I also appreciated the fact that when I told him I wasnt going easy when test driving the vehicle, he said Go ahead. Do what you need to do! Thank you guys for helping me get into a vehicle I am absolutely LOVING!!!

I had to have my truck towed in for service because it died on the road. Turns out it was only a minor inexpensive part needed to make it run again. I couldn’t believe I got it back, running great, for only around $80. What an honest shop! I fully recommend their service department!

The service that I received on my 2004 Ford Explore was excellent. The service crew handled all the work in a timely fashion and gave me a ride to and from my home to the shop. One of the reasons that I am still driving a twelve year old vehicle is the good service work from Bob Lowth Ford that I have received over those years. They know my vehicle well and do a great job of keeping me going down on the road.Larry Young
I haven’t had good luck with these guys getting good parts or service. I brought in an F350 a couple years ago to have them perform a leak down test to check for a head gasket leak. The engine bay was completely spotless and the guy who owned it before me washed and wiped it down once a week.They blew out a coolant hose line and said “Were not sure if it has one or not.” Charged me $200 and didn’t clean up the 2 gallons of coolant that had SOAKED the engine bay.When it comes to ordering parts it’s the same story, you give them the vin, list the exact part you need and either they have it for basically meth smoking prices, or they get you the wrong part, or they just flat out say, “Don’t know if we have it. Our computers don’t work that way.”.
Last fall I had bob lowth ford replace a water pump in my 2013 150 which I bought new at bob lowth ford. Water pump worked fine but about a month later I had to ad coolant. They said if it goes down again bring it inSo weeks ago brought if in the replaced the lower radiator hose and reset engine light then charged me 400 dollars for working on it for about an hour. Turns out ford procedure when changing a water pump is to also change lower radiator hose. Not happy being overcharged for a problem the created.

I went in for a vehicle recall notice in which they fix my vehicle in accordance with safety standards and they gave me a nice place to sit down and relax and drink some coffee and catch up on local news in the waiting area. The service actually went faster than I expected however I didnt exactly know where to go when it was time to pick up my vehicle which was adjacent to the waiting area I went to the service desk period so just a thought later if you drop off your vehicle I will tell you you have to pick it up someplace else probably opposite side of the building from where you dropped it off.

I have been doing business with Bob Lowth Ford for many years. They gave me the deal I could not refuse on my first new F150 and I am in my second new F150. I am very satisfied with the trucks, they are great vehicles for here in northern Minnesota. The service dept is great and know me by name even when all I come in for is oil changes and regular servicing. It is a home town dealership and I feel like a valued costermers and not a bank account pushed through the machine. I feel Gerry really worked to find the truck I wanted to meet my needs. I am a satisfied costermer and do recommend the F150 and Bob Lowth Ford.
The service was fine, it was the events that led up to the service that Im concerned with. When I purchased the car at the dealership a month ago I noticed the battery had severe corrosion. I was assured the battery would be replaced and the issue would be looked into. I looked under the hood three weeks later and the corrosion was back. The entire wiring harness at the battery was completely corroded. Am wondering how it could be possible not to notice such corrosion if in fact the battery was replaced. When I brought it in the service was excellent. I had a ride home and back to the dealer and the service desk staff was accomodating. I just believe the whole issue could have been avoided when I bought the vehicle and the issue was addressed then instead of rushing a sale out the door.
When a company practices deceit, one star Max. I got a new battery and ordered The Works which includes oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection. Upon completion they did not rotate my tires and claimed it didnt need to be done because of tread depth. These are new tires with over 5000 miles wear on them and this is why I ordered the rotation. I asked them why they did not perform the work I ordered. Again, claimed it didnt need it. They claimed they didnt charge me for it. Price only reduced $3. They said they can do it, but the lug nuts might break and I run the risk of having to pay for lug nuts.😫🤔. Really? In addition, I was quoted $40 for battery replacement and they charged me $50. You decide.
2018 Ford Explorer was fully serviced and driven from Bemidji, MN, to Denver, CO, during the 2019 4th of July week. The vehicle performed great throughout the trip, however, the Satellite Antenna problem returned.I was told during at the last service call that the Explorers Satellite Antenna had to be ordered but that the Radio was worked on and working properly at the time of the service. It failed on the tripDuring the 4th of July Holiday trip, the Radio Selection SiriusXM continuously failed and was most of the time not available. If this Fee Based service cannot be provided as continuous, as it was for the first two years, it will not be worth the monthly fee and will be cancelled.I will be making a Radio Service appointment soon to set up the Antenna replacement to return the radio to full usefulness.Also, radio service is needed to return the Explorers GPS function. When I went to set up the NAVIGATION GPS function, it was no longer displayed and therefore Not Available for GPS Setup. Without the setting no GPS function can be returned to the vehicle. The NAVIGATION Set Up was used to set up the GPS Function in the past.Thanks,Roger Reese

Zero stars would be more accurate. The hot head short little punk service advisor had a tantrum today (2-23-18). He swore at me, screamed at me, then drove my 17F150 out of the mechanics bay. I was there with it for warranty repairs. He angrily barked at me questioning me about a survey I previously filled out for Ford. He said, “ we get really pissed off when we get a negative review, take it somewhere else to get fixed”!! Totally unprofessional, inappropriate, and absolutely unacceptable. Lucky for that little boy that the customers can control themselves better than he. His tantrum was not only intimidating but very aggressive. So, if you want a good laugh and see a punk try to start a fight at the service desk with a customer, just fill out a survey or review that rates there service any less than stellar. Absolutely never going there again, someone else can go to jail for putting the punk in his place. Totally unbelievable experience.

I usually do my own auto mechanic repairs. The misfire issue my Ford e350 was having was beyond my diagnostic skills though.I made an appointment, accidentally showed up early, and they were able to fit me in sooner! On top of that, they diagnosed the issue, kept me in the loop as they did, and replaced the part in about 2 hours! I was impressed with their efficiency and expertise.I had hesitated to bring my vehicle to a dealer for service, hearing of how some take advantage of you. I found instead that Bob Lowth Ford charged me a reasonable rate, even lower then I expected, and got me back out the door. They didnt even harass me about tons of other odds and ends I could have had done to the vehicle, despite the fact they were not in need of repair.
The service manager was not easy to work with. I called Grand Rapids Ford and all the guys in the service were so friendly and easy to talk to I will be going there for all my service needs.

I have 92,000+ miles on my 2015 F-150 so far and I love it. I work in the construction industry, hunt, fish and have some acreage I like to spend my spare time working on. I do a lot of hauling and towing while putting on more than average highway miles for work. I was very skeptical of the Ecoboost motor but am sold now. To have the great mileage on the highway but the power when I hook up to my 20 fiberglass boat, am bringing my 60hp tractor up to deer camp, or haul a load of shingles in my dump trailer from a weekend project. I had a 2012 F-250 with the 6.2L gas motor in it prior to this. The Superduty is an awesome truck but the Ecoboost motor pulls better than the 6.2L and doesnt break the bank when paying for gas. When you put on as many miles as I do mileage is a big deal. Biggest complaint is that it comes with a 23 gallon gas tank. My next one will have the optional larger tank. Most of the time it doesnt matter but when you head out west to go elk hunting the bigger tank is much nicer. I bought my F150 at Bob Lowth Ford in Bemidji and they have been nothing but great to work with. Their service department has scheduled me in within a day or two and got me in right away when needed and are the most reasonably priced in town. My next one will come from there as well.

I was told one price about the vehicle I had purchased I look at all the papers I see it was price more then what I have been told. I also found out the day I went in and had to get a software update on the vehicle that there was problems with the steering. there was also parts ordered for the front struts before even purchasing it when they called to set up and get it fixed we ask if we would have to pay they said no our warrantys covered it even if we didnt have warrantys on the vehicle it should still be held accountable on the dealership for selling a car that still needed to be fixed. I was told by a couple of dealership I was screwed over big time and that they hear so many bad things from Bob lowth Ford and how they screw people over Im not to happy and I dont think I would recommend anyone.

There is good service and then there is exceptional service. Exceptional is the only way to describe the efforts of Adam Bjork & Mike Helweg over the two days they worked to find the source of the misfire problem in our 2012 F150 Ecoboost. There are few service personnel that are willing to dig deep to find a problem; I know this for a fact – Bob Lowth Ford was the 5th dealer I had visited during our cross country RV trip trying to find the source of the misfire issue – they all tried to help, but most just shrugged and look befuddled as to what the cause was. Just too intermittent.Not Adam & Mike; they kept digging for more data and found a few tech reports with symptoms similar to ours that pointed to a bad turbo pressure sensor. Sure enough, that solved the issue. We had another 1700 miles left to go before we got home to Surrey, BC/Canada, with not a single hiccup or misfire along the wayWe may never be back to Bemidji or Bob Lowth Ford – but if you live in the area and need service, this is THE place to go to.Thanks for making the return leg of our trip a breeze.Cheers, Mark & Nadia
