Great selection of games. Jesse is super nice and has awesome recommendations as well. He helped our party learn to play a new game and we had a lot of fun. The place is really nice, tables are great for board games and overall just had a great experience. Love the concept of it and the owner really makes it a quality experience. I would highly recommend going here and finding a new game to learn and enjoy!

Took three of my kids (aged 11, 9, and 5) there and we had a lot of fun. Staff helped us pick out and learn games appropriate for my kids intelligence and preferences. We ended up staying for several hours - longer than we had anticipated wed stay. Kids have asked when were going to go again.

A group of women from our church went last night. The owners are super friendly. The place was clean and well stocked with so many games we plan to go back and try more. I highly recommend this as a place to go with your friends, have a fun date with your beau, take the kids, or go alone for some quiet time while you learn a new game.

Super cool thing they have going here. The area is really big into gaming and the town is relatively small considering where Im coming from in Texas. Library is smallish, but growing; first time I peeked in Im sure I had more games but now its well over 300 in June 2021. AND they sell games now! Owner was super cool, definitely gonna buy a membership next time Im over there!

Awesome family place! Jesse (owner) was super knowledgeable of all the games and even sat with us and helped us through a complete game or until we understood the mechanics. Family of 4 with a 12 and 8 year old and we all had a blast! This will become one of our family hangs! Fun for ALL!

Amazing selection of games. There are three games youve heard of and played but then there are all these lessen known (at least to me lesser known) games. The owner was so friendly and helped us pick a game, learn the game, gave a few tips on strategy and then left us to it. Will definitely return!

Great fun place, nice way to spend a few hours with friends or family playing games without having any pressure to buy stuff, as they dont sell them at all. The staff is super friendly and will explain rules as needed, and they have a wide variety of board games, rpgs and card games. They also do after school clubs and my daughter loves her summer camp playing cooperative games.

There are several other gaming stores around, and while they have their merit, this is a completely different experience. Its large, bright, clean, inviting, well decorated/themed. When you walk in you see custom made tables designed specifically for gaming and comfortable stylish chairs with removeable drink holders. Comparatively, most other gaming stores are dark, dingy, and plagued by sparsely stocked shelves with specialty items, standard drab and worn folding card tables and and metal folding chairs. Board Game Knights is a HUGE upgrade. They have a few reasonably priced snacks and drinks, but this is a place to come and play primarily and it shows.The Selection - They have an impressive collection of games for all ages and all levels of interest in the hobby. There are literally hundreds of games. From kids games, to simple and fun party style games, to gateway and heavier euro themed games. All games are in great condition, look amazing on the table, and there is even an option to rent them for a week if you are a member. If youre into board games you know that they can be expensive ($50 -$100) and the ability to try them out before you buy, both in this store and at home, is incredibly valuable and Ive never seen this offered anywhere else.The Environment - This place is rarely overcrowded but it is often populated with a rotating group of regulars that are extremely friendly and eager to play or teach you a new game. Sometimes I just pop in by myself and join in a brand new game in no time and meet new people. People also bring games from home that may not yet be in the stores collection for even more variety. The community is generally accepting, patient, and non-judgmental. Overall its a very fun place to hang out. You can take our family there for a great afternoon, a great choice for date night, or just to meet up with friends at a neutral location without having to prepare for company or figure out whos hosting. Also a great choice for your weekly D&D game or TCG meet-up.The Staff - Last but certainly not least Jesse and Jason are fantastic. They are not only friendly and always welcoming, but they are avid board gamers with a penchant for teaching them. They will not only teach you to play most games they have, but they will sit down and join you to play. They will get to know you and remember your name for next time. Its a very nice personal touch and their passion is impossible to hide.This place is an absolute diamond in the rough. This is gaming done correctly where so many others have missed the mark. Great place to come play board games! Comfortable chairs and nice felt tables to play on. Their selection of games has a large variety, split into level Classics, 1, 2, 3. Plenty of family friendly games like Ticket to Ride, Broom Service, Machi Koro. On the heavier euro end, selection has Terraforming Mars, Tzolkin, and Dominant Species.Their staff are very friendly and ready to teach any games, well worth the game play cost to try a game.Additionally, they have weekly events to try out games on Tuesday and Thursday.
