The drinks are pricey, $10.50 for a small smoothie and the smoothies are hit or miss depending on who makes it for you. The newer employees use way less fruit and expensive ingredients resulting in more of a milk juice than a smoothie, but veterans do a good job. If theres an older guy working, buy the smoothie otherwise dont waste your money. I dropped my rating to 1 star today because I watched these young girls make my smoothie and literally omitted half of the ingredients, not going back here...
Staff was excellent. The matcha latte is awful though. Very grainy and not blended at all. It settles way too quickly.
Unfortunately this place has drastically deteriorated over time. After spending a considerable amount of money at Project Juice, I noticed that the fruit is no longer fresh; as the bananas and strawberries are often half rotten and soggy.Due to the fact that my recent food purchases here were not fresh, I purposely walked inside of the restaurant to watch them prepare my food. Prior to this, I often used my cell phone to make purchases. Upon seeing the food preparer use a half black rotting banana with mushy insides, I asked her to use a fresh banana. As she started doing so, another worker antagonistically told me that I was suppose to wait outside. This was bothersome to me, as I was the only customer inside of the restaurant, and the worker only made the remark after I requested the product be made fresh. Upon bringing the matter to the attention of the manager, she backed the employee. If you are a health conscious person, as I am, I recommend you take your business elsewhere. The cost here are high and the product is poor.
I love project juice more than is normal, probably. My weekend wouldnt be complete without a smoothie! Everything here is fresh and nutritionally dense. Never had a smoothie I didnt like and the parfaits are bomb. I usually go for the Rockstar or Mint Chip.Of note for me: I think whats critical to an acai bowl or smoothie or parfait or anything cold that contains granola is its crispness - it needs to be super crisp and light to actually enjoy without chewing too much, getting cold teeth, etc. Their granola is 👌
Definately Genuine nice all around people working here @ Project Juice...Always got the juice! Ready and waiting...these hard working individuals really have what it takes to get your juice on.
Very pricey but good once a week.
Great vegan health food prepared fresh.
Phenomenal GREEN offerings that are NOT diluted or too sweet. Very accommodating with your specifications. I especially appreciate Lucy & Ingris’ suggestions. Try the Brain Alchemy, Golden Toast (turmeric hummus AND avo mash w-pickled red onions, microgreens, & seeds - a work of art!). PJ is the BEST thus far & I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL! Worth every penny. Loyalty program. Been going to Berk 4th St 23 yrs for their shops & now for PJ 😉
Love the adaptogen lattes...skin potion is my fave!
The oatmeal paired with a black coffee is a great way to get me ready for my drive to work. Costumer service is always on point and the staff is always friendly with familiar faces. In the mornings there isnt much of a wait.
I really like project juice but this location has messed up my order more than once. This is the only location that has done it so far. Its bad because Im also allergic to tree nuts. Please read the orders carefully before making!!
Love their acaí bowls! they have tons of different options to choose from. my favorite is the almond butter bowl with the protein topping. absolutely amazing
Everything here is delicious and vegan. Lots of raw fruits and juices plus soups and snacks. I like their energy and immunity elixir shots. The bowls are fantastic. Very clean store in a fun shopping area.
Drinks hella watery
As soon as I walked in Project Juice greeted me and helped me right away. One love has the best customer service and everything you need at the best quality and prices!
Love their dragon and acai bowls
The golden toast is delicious. Their menu is more varied and tastier than other juice places Ive tried.
Good acai bowls but not the best. The base is kind of watery and sometimes I get the flavor of overly ripe fruit in the base. The toppings are all good and they give a lot of toppings overall in the way of nuts and granola and cacao nibs. Not that many fruit topping choices besides strawberry and banana and blueberry and a lot of times you dont get a standard menu option that includes them all without paying extra. IMO, that kind of makes the whole experience less exciting, especially when the base is more liquid and not as flavorful as other places.
Way over priced juice. Only go if You are in a bind and can’t find another.I pay 1/2 what I payed here at my normal place. And my normal place is also organic pressed juice. They want you to think it’s special here but it’s just over priced.
Definitely the best açai we had in the Bay Area. Gets pretty close to the authentic Brazilian version.
Acai bowl was delicious! Staff was super friendly too.
This is one of my favourite places to eat in California
Extremely good Acai Bowls!
Got: heavy thing in between juice and puree (even asked for a spoon instead of a straw)Dominant taste: ice cubePrice: $10+And I am not complaining because I am French but because I am human, because I am a man, because I am
So glad they opened up a location in Berkeley! The superfood bowls are the best! Employees are super friendly and quick as well.
Vegan shakes, breakfast bowls, lunches, juices, lattes, amd snacks omg its all so good fresh and natural. Definitely would recommend
I had a the lemon ginger Kombucha which was good, but a little too spicy for me. The Almond butter Acai bowl was delicious. They put cashews and strawberries and a few other things on top of the Acai base. All the flavor profiles work well with each other. Its probably the second best Acai bowl Ive had in the Bay Area.
Great healthy food and an easy clean concept.
Favorite place to go. The waffles are amazing.
Great new place for acai bowls and the like. Excellent quality and great customer service.
The vegan tomato and cashew cream soup is filling and delicious ($6).
Yes, they have keto coffee. A rare find for those of us switching to ketosis, which accelerates autophagy.
Awesome spot for a good healthy meal
Nice little healthy spot on the 4th Street market
