An absolutely amazing bookstore. I have been a customer for decades. The finest selection of new and used occult books in the area. I have found obscure books published by small publishing houses, not just the popular titles. The owner knows this business inside out.

Great selection and there are a lot of awesome antique and vintage books in beautiful condition. I bought a couple books and will definitely be returning

The man that owns the place, is so nice! Great guy! And his little store here, is so easy to get lost in time in. He has so much great books and decks and many more.... was here for the first time ever with my hubby and I spent about an hour and a half just looking threw the Tarot and Oracle decks! He has some that are even out of print, so if youre a collector looking for a specific deck, he just might have it! We will be back, and I can not wait!

Mayflower Book Store is a magical place to visit and enjoy. Ive bought many books and crystals here. Robert, the store owner, is very knowledgable, musical, and lovely. Very much worth a visit. Its a gem in Berkley.

This place used to be fun. I remember how it was years ago: very positive energy, interesting, I always found unusual books, musical instruments, crystals... Cant remember why I stopped going, but it might have something to do with what it has become now. A darkness has settled over the place, just has that pinpricks through your bones feeling. A malevolence permeates the place, a strong negative energy. Whoever helped us that day has totally given into it, and wasnt just rude, but also pretty creepy. Not going back, not even going near it if I can avoid it.

If youre looking for anything along the lines of spirituality metaphysics, and any topic you can pretty much think of, or place that will impact you spiritually as soon as you walk through its doors, where you will feel the warmth and frequencies of your chakras come alive. Then forget about those big box bookstores. All You Need Is This One Stop Shop and you will have it all, look no further then the Mayflower bookstore, the state of Michigans best kept secret. This place is great for esoteric conversations. Learning and evolving. An afternoon spent here will change your life. Great vibes and even greater knowledge is in that building. Robert is a national treasure. Enter with an open mind and a open heart.

One of my favorite places to go for esoteric and rare books on spiritual matters. Been here a very long time, he told me over forty years! Despite someone trying to burn it down, he survived, and there is still access to knowledge of things outside of one single religion. Be careful in there, its a bit cramped because of so much stuff!

Got some very pretty gems here, moderately priced. It seems pretty overwhelming at first, but the staff are very helpful. I’d recommend going on a cooler day though, as it seemed that there’s no ac.

I had a horrible experience going in the store. When I walked in I was so excited because this store was everything that Ive been looking for. The man that runs the store treated me very horribly and said that I couldnt stay because I wasnt over 18. If this is a rule at your store then maybe you should put a sign in front of you store stating that. The store was beautiful and I was very excited to look around. I had so many questions and the man was on the phone the whole time and I didnt get a chance to ask​ any. The man said I could look around for a few minutes and barely 2 minutes had passed before he kicked me out and claimed that he was about to close even though it was 40 minutes until the stores closing time. He said I could come back with a parent or someone over 18 if I wanted to look around. Hopefully when I go back Ill have a better experience and actually get to look around and talk to the man and ask questions. So I had a very, very disappointing experience and the man completely ruined my positive energy about the store and I walked out very upset with bad vibes about this man that I was very excited to talk to.

I went in the store with happiness and excitement but when I met the man working there without even speaking to me he kicked me out, he said it was an all Buddhist shop and that I’m not serious about his things there. He also claimed I’m a muggle. Odd. I am not happy with my service from that store. I went home balling my eyes out because all I wanted to be was just a magical girl.

Such a vast selection of books/crystals/ stained glass/oils etc....such a calming interesting adventure everytime I go...I found the most beautiful hand beaded made purse ever...such a gorgeous find...Im so happy..I LOVE this store..my happy place🧡

The ambience in this cute little store is absolutely outstanding. They have lots of rare collectibles and books. Bring lots of money!!

I was like a child in a candy store. Great vibration, books galore, crystals and singing bowls. They have everything Im looking for. Thank you for being honest and not trying to sell me something I didnt need.

Great spiritual place... but be warned. Its closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday (only). So you can go Wed. Thur. Fri. and Sat. ;D
