Very helpful and knowledgeable fellows. I was putting up a railing myself and gave me good advice. I rented a powerful drill hammer to place 3/8 bolts in concrete from their tool rental services that was more then adequate to do the job. My project is turning out very nice for a 65 year old doing it himself. Thanks guys for all the recommendations!

I would have given Evey a 5 star review on my multiple experiences except for the fact that I rented what appeared to be an antique 18 inch trencher on 5/6/2021 that would not dig more than 8-10 inches. I was assured that the trencher would go through clay when I reserved it, but it most cases it would just stop churning when I hit it. When I mentioned my issues upon returning the trencher, I was promised a call from a manager the next day. 5 days later, I am still waiting for my phone to ring.Follow-up from initial 2 star review. I received a phone call very shortly after my review and they resolved my issue very quickly and explained exactly why there was a delay in contacting me. I appreciate the quick response and the hometown feel that you don’t get with the big box stores. Thank you.

Needed a certain item so I called and asked twice if they had the item, and was told both times they had it, made a special trip from Monongehela and behold, they did not have it. Over an hour wasted plus wear and tear on the car. The worse part about it is that the items were right next to the counter where the girl was standing and she was not aware of what she was looking at. Needless to say I wont be back anytime soon.I guess customer service and training are not what they used to be.

The employees there did everything they could to get it started and I have not forgotten this simple act of kindness. Eveys is great!! They are always helpful and always have someone at the door to help you find what youre looking for. One thing I really like is that if you come early in the morning and they are there the lights will be on and the doors unlocked - ready for business. Unlike the chain stores where the manager stands at the door waiting to unlock it. Big thumbs up for Eveys.

Had a good experience when at Evey True Value. Staff was nice enough although they did not go out of their way to help me. The staff and all people in the store were masked when I was there. They also had a sign indicating masks required. They had shovels and ice melt a day before the 9” snow that was forecasted so that was very nice. The prices seemed to be a couple dollars higher than the big box stores but the convenience and not loosing an hour of you life when all you need is a lightbulb is well worth any small extra cost.

I was just at Evey to return a rental tool. They seem happy to serve people without masks. I would rather keep the economy open than risk my mothers life to shop at Evey. There are 100 SAFE hardware options within a mile! If you dont care, Evey is there for you...come hang out with the blunt skulls!

My family has patronized this store for 30+ years and I personally have lost count of how many times Ive been mid-project, needed a fitting or a fastener (or in the most recent case, electrical junction boxes), and been able to obtain it within minutes at Eveys.Recommended without hesitation...

Evey is the plane to go for one to one assistance on your projects. Plumbing, heating, lawn and garden care, tools, they have the answers and usually the hardware to assist. Ive never been disappointed going there.

Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. I had a pluming issue that required a rare part that they did not have so they custom cut my existing hardware to match the products in stock. Even True Value is the only hardware I will visit as I know they have the staff and equipment to get my problems solved and fast!

Very helpful they knew exactly what i needed and sold it to me quick and at a reasonable price.

Recently bought a filter for my air cleaner on my furnace. Could not find the model anywhere except at Evey. Paid $64.00 + tax. Told my brother and he suggested I check on Amazon. Found the exact OEM filter (packet of 3 ) and the price came to around $26.00 per filter and that included shipping. Received them in 3 days. You do the math and tell me who the highway robber is!

Always helpful, even if its a teenager helping you, and they may not have an answer to your question- theres always senior staff that can help. Everything is overpriced (compared to HD and Lowes), but if youre nearby its great!

I called them in a panic this morning for a last-minute rental of tables and chairs for a graduation party next weekend (the other company I booked had to back out). They could not have been nicer, and were so eager to help.
