Bethesda Market is a great Mom and Pop store. They have a wild section of wines and sakes to unique beers and IPAs. They also have a great deli in the back which serves great sandwiches both for breakfast or lunch. Definitely a must if you live or work in the area.

Absolutely wonderful beer selection. I brew my own and have used offerings from Bethesda market as the competition to beat. My wife however, loves wine. Thats why this review is five stars. Both me and my wifecan shop at the same store.

I’m not sure you can go anywhere in the county and get a better philly cheesesteak. Always amazing and the selection of craft beers is off the charts. I will keep returning.

Great sandwich for lunch after a long bike ride. I had the Ben Franklin which has a really nice flavor to it. Prices were reasonable and food was ready quickly. I appreciated the social distancing measures and everyone wore masks.

The place is extremely overpriced and the price listed on the fridge does not match the price at the cashier. Peroni was clearly listed for 9.99, but ringed 10.99 at the counter. When I brought that to the attention of the clerk, I was told the price was increased last week and no attempt to adjust it was made. Gave two stars because because the selection is not bad and locatinlon is convinient.

The food is always well prepared and delightful, employees provides excellent service. I really like how neat it is and mood. Will come back again.

Good food and Ive always received a greeting upon entering the store. I get a sandwich at least one a week. The breakfast omelet s are good too.

Lots of wine and beer but the owners and employees are not friendly.I went into the store to buy a special beer for a friend of mine from Scotland. I purchased the beer and ask them about it because it was not labeled with the price turned out it was $6 a bottle which I think is outrageous but I bought it because I needed a gift for my friend that he would enjoy. After the purchase was rung up, the owner of the shop shoved the bottles at me without even offering a bag to put them in to carry them out of the store which I thought was very rude. The selection of beer and wine is abundant but may be limited in as far as the origins of the wine. I would compare prices with other wine stores and make sure youre getting the best deal Im not convinced that I did in this place.

Excellent little gem of a Deli hidden in the Sumner Shopping right next to Starbucks. All their meats are Boars Head meats and they provide a great breakfast and lunch menu. They also have an amazing wine and craft beer selection. I have never seen so many beers in one place. All in all a great place to shop!

Have eaten there a number of times and used to enjoy their food. They lost me today. They prepared the wrong order and when I told them they insisted that I was wrong, even after I listed the ingredients in what I wanted and what they had served me. The cook pulled the ticket which showed what I had ordered and again she insisted I was wrong. All that proved was that I was charged for more than what I actually got. Funny thing is that I was not asking for the order to be re-made, just to let them know. A sorry response was all I expected. They lost a regular.

Average sandwich, confusing meal combo pricing, and cashier rang me up for a bottled drink instead of the fountain drink I had (same price). Hopefully this mistake isn’t a habit as it would cause an excess of physical inventory for bottled drinks vs what the POS system believes have been sold.

Salad was good. Didnt feel too welcomed.

Subs were ok, nothing special. I have had worse before but a nice little beer wine store to try out.

Horrible Service food was decent.12 April 18 Day 1- was greeted by the kitchen staff with what do you want I thought she was joking, and left it alone. A customer nearby looked a bit confused as he received a nice pleasant greeting. Noticed she wasnt wearing any gloves, I left that alone. Cashier I presumed was the owner, he was nice and accommodating Sandwich was good I decided to go back.13 April 18 Day 2 - was greeted this time after waiting a few minutes. You ready? Yes. She hands me my receipt and says go pay upfront I grab chips a juice and head up front. Place my items on the counter. This time its the original cashiers mother. She rings me up I go back to back. After about 5 minutes, The cook tells me there is no bread. I said no bread? While Im looking st all the bread. She says no white bread, I say wheat is fine. I stand there. UpIm looking around cook #1 (rude one) - is shredding meat with her bare hands. The cashier (AKA mom) walks up and all of a sudden cook #1 puts her gloves on. It was at that point I realized that she knew she was wrong from Day 1 and today. Cook #2 has gloves on but she has grabbed a Starbucks drink and is now drinking using her same gloves she was just shredding her batch of meat with. I leave it alone until she grabs an old rag and starts cleaning the counters. She then grabs a piece of cheese and proceeds to make my sandwich.I walk over to mom and tell her I no longer want the sandwich because of the reasons aboveShe asked them if it were true and of course they say no. The mom begins to fuss at ME telling me they would never do that.She asks me if I paid for the sandwich, umm yes I just walked away. She pulls the receipt and notices she didnt ring the juice and chips.I told her just subtract it. She does. Then proceeds to go off on me!! Telling me that Im lying and that I was trying to steal the juice and chips!!! I tell her lady I dont need to steal I have more than enough money!! The fact is the girl was not using clean gloves and you didnt ring up the other items.She kept fussing at me telling me I was trying to steal and that I was a liar!! There was someone in line I guess she was showing off for.I told her that she could have her juice and chips since she thinks Im trying to steal it. The guy next to me was trying to calm the situation making it seem like it was typical behavior of my kind (I digress).Overall I tried to try something new vice going next door to starbucks. I am extremely disappointed to be called a liar and thief is very insulting especially coming from work after a long day. I will NOT recommend this place to anyone.

They have thee Best Luciano Italian Sub! Its too big to eat the whole thing, I always have half for later!
