Terrific environment! The wine and food were really good. Staves were often very friendly and respectful. They had to pick from a wide variety of wines. Apart from this, they even had drinks that you should try as well. This place is going to be one of my one-stop wine shops. I would certainly recommend this shop to my friends and relatives.

Never going back. Ive spent lots of money here, but getting assaulted by the crazy mask Karen at the counter is totally unacceptable...One word: Florida. Much lower infection rate and no masks for months - thats science. Wake up...

Cork 57 is a high end store for craft beer and wine with excellent customer service. They have a great selection for being a small neighborhood store. If you go in expecting Total Wine or a huge warehouse style store you will be disappointed, but that is not the angle they are going for. The selection is meticulously curated and there are some real gems in there if you look carefully or ask Fred (the owner) or Mr. Julio (the manager) for a recommendation. The employees are highly attentive and will remember you and what your tastes and preferences are. Also they have a rewards program for frequent customers. Its the best bottle shop in Bethesda without a doubt, and quite possibly the best in all of Montgomery County.

Sometimes shop here for wine. The parking, as in most of the places in this section, is limited. The wine selection is very good, the beer selection is OK. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Each time I have asked for advice, the staff knew their inventory and how to pair them with occasions and good. The prices, as with all MoCo liquor stores, are higher than nearby DC shops, but that is due to our governments stupid antiquated distribution system. All in all, this is a good wine shop.

I love this Wine Store! Fred buys great vineyards & focuses on his customers taste & budget. He has recommended great wines that I keep coming back for.We need more wine shops in Bethesda who can withstand the arcane rules of Montgomery Country Beverage Control. Stupid policy controlled by money and idiocy.BETHESDA deserves better!

The selection of wine and beer is broad in the store and they are helpful and happy to take any orders if they dont have what you want in the store. The staff are knowledgeable about the wines and can help you choose a new one for your taste or occasion. Ive always been satisfied with any wine I just wander in and pick up without paying too much attention, meaning I dont think theres a bad wine in the house.

Professional, approachable and kind staff beats a bit high prices. We always go back there. Great place and good selection of wines and beers.

Cork 57 is, in my estimation, another of Bethesda’s gems. Fred, the owner, is my advisor on wine and beer and is known to all who know me as my “Wine and Beer GURU.” Not only does he know his wines and beers, he has the knowledge akin to a fine dining Sommelier and is my go-to advisor for food and wine pairings. He is so on spot, he’s never...i repeat NEVER...been wrong. At least not for me. I love that i can walk in and share my upcoming saturday night dinner menu and Fred then suggests the best wine for each course.If you are looking for a convenient, friendly, competent, well stocked wine and beer establishment in Bethesda, CORK 57 should definitely be your choice.
