Incredibly delicious Pavlova! I was proud to choose this cake for my husbands birthday. The meringue was on-point, the whipped cream felt really smooth, and the organic strawberries balanced the sweetness perfectly. It serves between 12-15 people, depending on your portions, we had a very small gathering so we had leftovers and even the next day it was every bit as amazing. This was my first time trying Le Mervetty desserts but I will definitely be ordering again for many more special occasions!
I really love their decorations of the store. You would feel like entering into a small dessert palace. They must spend a lot of time and money on it.However~why I only give 2 stars is because their service and product. The black girl, the one who served me today, was so impatient to explain what desserts they. She just told me to read. If I understand what’s on it~why did I ask you... Most of all~she had no smile but a serious face. I don’t know what happened to you today~I just know this is not right to be a good server. If I were the owner~I won’t fire her. She just need some education of training of manner and service. The product is simple but expensive. The sweetness is medium-low. The price is extreme high. $7 for the small one and $15 for a shake.
Very aesthetically pleasing place. The drawback is they don’t have a set menu and we were asked to pick a flavour and they would make on site. They don’t have too many options and it seems like they use vanilla ice cream as the base and mix a flavour in (strawberry into vanilla ice cream for strawberry flavour). The ice cream was good however got a little too sweet due to the big portion size. The lady at the shop was very friendly and helped us out with ordering.
Very adorable bakery! They have a ballerina and Paris theme which are my favorite! I really like the merveilleux. The staff members were so nice! Definitely coming back next time.
Came by to pick up some treats for my family and was told they will not let me order because they are closing. Their posted hours say open until 10pm, the rude disgusting woman said they are closing at 6pm....I was refused service at 5:30pm...Only explanation is incredibly rude employees that simply want to leave to home early without any consideration for the shops business or customers.Mind blowing in Covid times how places turn away business. So glad I called beforehand to ask hours, came out in pouring rain to be tossed aside. The employee needs to be fired. Will never be back, nor will any friends or family.
Looks fancy pancy but inedible desserts. Napoleon and eclairs instead custard cream has something frozen tastes like mashed potatoes with sugar. Its not French bakery, its for Instagram
Really pretty and expensive cakes for instagram pictures but taste wise... Its lacking something or maybe too sweet?
The Service: The owner of the shop is from France. She really knows her desserts very well. Very welcoming. The Food: Very traditional and authentic french desserts. They do tend to be sweeter (lots of sugar). But it goes very well with coffee or espresso.Chocolate Merveilleux - You dont see this dessert often at other bakeries. Very traditional French dessert. Meringue at the bottom and chocolate chips pile up on the top.
Fresh, amazing, delicious, gorgeous meringues in so many delightful variations! 💖 And their coffee is very good too ☕ This place is lovely, I love how it looks and feels, and the stuff is so nice 😊 Ill definitely be back
This place is great! They have cute little white tables right in front of the place and one little table inside. But you really want to sit outside and do some serious people and car watching here. The interior design of this place is amazing - its simply beautiful and posh.So they have these huge milkshakes which I didnt dare to try as they are simply, well, too huge. Instead I tried the merveilleux and some macarons. Both were amazing. Full of flavor and you can taste the real ingredients. They go low on the sugar and even though you walk away from this place sugar-high, it doesnt feel like there was too much sugar.Everything tastes very fresh and you can tell their recipes are coming from Europe.Service isnt that friendly or willing to explain the menu, but they do have a little menu next to the cashier which explains their offerings well.Overall this place is about great desert and thats what they get right.
Everything is yummy at Le Mervetty ! I stop by on the way home and get some macaroons to go. The best ones in Beverly Hills ! If i am invited to a party i am ordering in advance the Merveilleux cake. The staff is always very nice !
Excellent pastries - lovely girls! If you have any type of celebration, order the delicious Pavlova! Your friends will thank you for it. And theyre gluten-free.....
Delicious french pastries!! Beautiful atmosphere and great selection. Gluten free as well. Highly recommended
Best place (probably the only) to get Merveilleux in L.A. (probably in the West Coast). If you like European style desserts, you gotta try this! It really is merveilleux (wonderful)!
This French Patisserie is a heavely find. The sweets are prepared fresh daily. The pastries are $2.50 and up. You can enjoy any array of desserts, delicious shakes, fresh and flavorful macarons, coffee, sample mouth watering meringue, etc. You can actually taste the rose water in it. I have never been a fan of macarons. However, these are so fresh I will definitely enjoy more chocolate ones from here. The shop is delicately decorated with French accents....the sparkling Eiffel Tower. The staff is pleasant. There are 2 small tables outside and one inside so its probably prudent to take your treats to go.
Tasty tasty and again very tasty pastry!
My two friends and I split the speculoos milkshake (made with blended speculoos cookies) and a lemon canele. According to the stores restaurant, a canele is a small dessert with a soft and tender custard-like center and a caramelized crust, lightly infused with rum or moscato brandy. I personally didnt find the canele worth its relatively high price tag, but the milkshake alone was enough to deserve a 5-star rating. Although the man behind the counter was somewhat terse, he offered to bring our food to the table outside, which I thought was a nice touch. Somewhat strangely, he never asked for our money, so we had to walk back into the store to offer it to him.
The cutest bakery with wonderful fresh desserts and delicious milkshakes!
Le Mervetty is a dream Parisian Pattisserre in the heart of Beverly Hills.Delicious meringue, macaroon to die forAnd over the top Miraculos Milkshakes! Do not miss this spot.If you find yourself in the State of California its worth the drive or Uber to this gorgeous spot! Ask for Etty the Queen of everything!😘
Slow service
Came here on Friday, Ocober 13th, stuff was very unfriendly, but Pistachio merveilleux desert was delicious. Then came here on Sunday, October 15th at 11:15am and there was no deserts on display. I asked the sales person if they have their merveilleux desert and she said they do but they are all frozen and that I would have to wait 30 minutes for it to defrost. Perhaps, stuff should take in considiration defrosting them before opening the shop at 10:30am. The deserts and coffee in this shop is very good, but costumer service is horrible. Hopefully this will help the owners, and next time we come it will be better!
Go there and order anything, you wont be dissappointed!
The tea was amazing! Highly recommend
Beautiful bakery with the most scrumptious French desserts. A very kind baker as well :)
Merveilleux Cake absolutely worth a try.
Best place for a quick bite in the morning.
The coffee was so burned I lost my will to live.
Best meringue desserts
EXCELLENT TASTY
Quality and testy sweets
WOW!
(Reviews for ice cream and macaroons) Falsely refined, products of bad qualities and at an exorbitant price, extra on the price because the dessert is made of real gold which makes no sense ... In short, to flee!
The person who waited on us very rude. The prices are very expensive there is no disgusting place.
It is very tasty and huge portions!)))
Cut it down
