The treatment I received today doesn’t even deserve 1 star. My iPhone 12 was stolen while traveling so I stopped in the store yesterday to file a claim and order a new i phone. I also purchased a phone to use while waiting for the new iPhone. Service was Great! The salesperson told me to just bring everything back in when I received the new iphone and they would help me close down the temp phone and help me set up my new phone. NOT WHAT HAPPENED.Sales lady today said that they couldn’t help me with the replacement phone, “ go do it yourself”, SHOUTED at me, then insisted more that once that I get off the phone with the tech help so she could take over. Tech help, who over heard all these exchanges in their entirety, was amazing and guided me through everything. It took an hour. I hope it was all recorded.

We recently updated our phones at the State Farm Pkwy location in Birmingham Al. Terry Scruggs was our sales consultant. We could not have had a better experience. Terry knows the products very well. He offered options that we had not considered. Explained them clearly and reviewed the cost impact. We left the store very satisfied. So I finally got a Big Girl phone and left my prepaid Boost service in the dust, where it belongs, because Boost is garbage.Naylyn was my customer service person and she was very helpful, informative and talked with me a while, answering all my questions and giving me several options for my new phone and service. I am very excited about my new phone and service and Naylyn made the transition very stress-free and thanks to Apple and the Cloud, setting up my new phone was simple!

I was deserted after my credit card was charged. I spent an hour trying to get my data transferred because the service rep went to help other people. I needed help answering some questions that were asked and knowing where I was in the process of setting up my new phone and transferring the data. I dont understand the HBO gift either. Do I have to subscribe to HBO to get HBO+? Clerk was not clear on what I was eligible for and tried to over sell me on other products. I almost walked out several times unless he clarified instead of looking toward the next person to serve. Can I take everything back and start over? They were very defensive about answering questions about Apple iPhones. Definitely not the service I would receive at the Apple store in Birmingham which is closed due to pandemic conditions to all but delivery of products bought online. I am a retiree of Bellsouth after 30 years of service. I am ashamed to tell people that fact due to the poor service and lack of coordination among current departments. I was really confused this morning when I got a letter saying my service had been disconnected? It actually was for my service which closed 5 years ago! The phone number was needed in one of the steps to purchase the new iphone! whats up with that? Whats up with the poor service and complicated procedures to get anything accomplished these days from AT&T?
I came into this location to purchase a new phone. The manager CJ was very helpful. I already knew what I wanted before coming there. Although the device was sold out at this location, he went above and beyond to find the phone locally for us being that I needed the phone that day. I will definitely return to this location for assistance and purchases in the future.

Latoya made the total sales experience wonderful. This was literally the fastest I have ever done a trade in and purchase. She is a keeper.

AT&T 3 days ago (Saturday) I moved a few miles down the road to an apartment complex that is wired exclusively for one internet provider, @AT&T. Prior to moving I was told by a AT&T customer service that since the building is already wired for AT&T, all I needed to do was take my router with me and plug it in at my new apartment. I double checked, “are you sure?”, to which I was again assured that it was just that simple. Several days later I move and plug the router in. No internet. I call AT&T and tell them what happened, and they scheduled a technician to come to my apartment several days later (Tuesday) to activate my service. It’s Tuesday night now, so I call and ask when I can expect to see the tech. After a long process of being put on hold and transferred to a “manager”, I’m told that I didn’t actually have an appointment. Even worse, they told me that it would be THREE WEEKS until they’d be able to get someone out to my apartment. I live in downtown Birmingham, a relatively big city, and they don’t have a single tech that can spend 20 minutes activating my internet service. Are you kidding me AT&T? What if I worked from home, or if I had a kid who was learning remotely? What if I caught covid and couldn’t leave for 2 weeks but still had to work? I literally have no other options besides using AT&T and they know this. I was misled multiple times by their representatives, then told to wait for nearly a month for a service I ALREADY PAY FOR. I’ve never posted any sort of product or service complaint, but this is the worst experience I’ve had as a customer. I really hope people see this and think twice before they switch to AT&T. Don’t do it!

I wish that I could give a negative 1 star but that is not available. I visited this location to try to get one of my phones fixed. I got there at 6:30pm and requested that someone there call tech support to try and fix my phone. When the lady from tech support came on the line she was not listening at all. I finally asked for a supervisor and was told that one would call me in 5 minutes. I never received the call. I did not leave until closing time but still with the problem still not resolved. I contacted customer service while in the store and was on hold for over an hour to speak with someone about my issue. I requested a supervisor time I called and was on hold for almost a whole nother hour waiting for one to come on the line. Once I finally got someone on the phone my issue was still not resolved and he also told me that he could only be on the line for 2 minutes which is crazy when they have not helped you resolve your issue. The supervisor threw me back in que once again and I had to wait to again speak with another agent. The last person that came on the line was very helpful. I didnt finish up with at&t until after 11pm that night. This is just rediculas. A customer should not have to wait that long to get service up and running properly. I would definitely not recommend at&t. I have posted my call log to show this.
