The AVO was perfect for a relaxing Saturday evening. The employees professional and helpful in choosing a beverage or cigar to suit your tastes. They were training a few new employees, but Cyndi and Tarik handled teaching them with patience and grace. I will definitely be returning!

We came here for my fiancé’s birthday and had an amazing experience. There was a wait and the host Charlie was excellent at finding us a table outside while we waited for one inside. Him and our server made the night so special and I’ve never seen customer service so great. Even when our server got super busy we saw the teamwork come through- we never had to wait for anything because the staff worked so seamlessly together. I can’t say enough great things about Charlie though, his attentiveness was second to none, he even noticed us leave and offered to take a picture of our party. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great time!

We had an after work gathering last night and the Host Carlos (Charlie) was amazing! He was courteous, attentive, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the job he was doing. He seemed to really enjoy his job and paid great attention to details, We all felt so comfortable with him and he looked out for our best interest. Churchills is fortunate to have such a fantastic employee as Charlie :)

This is my favorite of the Churchills franchise. It has a large seating area for dining. The Menu is Nice, a little pricey, but the food is delicious. The Humidor is nice and has a large selection of Premium sticks. The service is pretty good and professional. The drink menu is great and they have top shelf liquors and Wines. The only negtive really, is the parking situation in Bermingham, its terrible now. Not at all convenient.The thing I love the most is that, Churchills is the last real Tobacconist in the Metro Detroit area, Carrying a Fine selection of Pipe tobaccos as well as Gents accessories and gifts.

Not a better cigar bar in the state of Michigan. Maybe even one of the best in the Midwest. Full bar and full dining menu. Smoke and eat at the same table. Pro Tip: No smoking outside on the patio. City ordinance.

I went here after PT and a quick trip to the salon. I don’t smoke (the smell of it turns my stomach) but was interested in their food and drink menu. There is no smoking outside, so I was able to have a light lunch without any issues.Service was great and the food and drinks are pretty good. I would come back here and sit outside again. Small salad with beets and crab stack plus cocktail was $42.

Our server BB was great, best suggestions and funny. Al knows his cigars. Great drinks and food. Oysters are on point. Ribeye was so good I almost didnt have food left to take a picture..lol

This place is nice and it was hoppin Saturday night. Make sure you get there earlier than you want to sit! To be expected though. You can only order one drink at a time per person. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Plus, we couldnt get food after 9, so I dont know how good it is yet.

My GF and I just moved to the area and were looking for highly rated food experiences and came across Churchills. Upon entry, you get a nice aroma of premium cigars that was not overwhelming or insanely smoky. We got seated immediately at about 6pm as a walk-in and had Santi as our waiter. He was amazing! Had recommendations about cigars, pointed us to the humidor, had amazing wit and humor and definitely gave us the best experience possible. For the food...you just gotta get some food! Try the steak tips...your mind will explode. The same happened with the crab stuffed salmon that my GF ordered. I got the lamb chops, which Santi mentioned are not always on the menu as they are MP. Best. Lamb Chops. Ive. Ever. Had. Solid food, unique experience, amazing staff. Were definitely going back soon and definitely requesting to sit with Santi. Thanks, Churchills!

Went in for a late afternoon Mothers Day dinner with my son and my mother. Son treated mom and grandma to this fine establishment, as hed been there previously with friends and highly recommended the Filet Mignon.We started with drinks and appetizers-Oysters Rockefeller and Cheese Charcuterie. They were both very good!For dinner, I had the Filet, and mom had the Chefs Special-Chicken Tortellini. The Filet was very tender and very delicious!! I havent tasted a steak that good in a LONG time! TheOur Server was Malik and he was very friendly, helpful, and gave us great suggestions for future visits.You might not think a Cigar Bar would have great food, but this is definitely a great dining establishment !!!We will definitely be back for more fine dining at Churchills. Thanks Malik and staff for a great first time dining experience!

Churchills Birmingham - experienced very negative attitude from the doorman.with only 30 mins remaining before closing we were not offered to come in and possibly just buy cigars since no seating was available. The doorman was rude when he approached ymy group of 4 at the door. We will stick to the other location where they are friendly and not rude with their customers and will not recommend this location for all my out of town friends..

Exceptional. Ace and Malik were wonderful at the bar. They gave us great pairing recommendations. There is a woman that works here who gave us great recommendations on the walk in humidor. She was very knowledgeable, I just cant remember her name. Churchills is in an upscale neighborhood with well dressed clientele. However, the service staff were welcoming and very accommodating. Every staff member was helpful and went over the top to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I had an Opus X 20 year with macallan 12 and my dad had a padron 1964 anniversary with a rum and coke. Although he had a rum and coke, Malik used a rum that paired well with his cigar. They also offered small samples of whisky to find what exactly I liked. Our water glasses never went lower than half full. Will come back as soon as were back in town.

Great cigar selection, and the cigar suggestion from the staff was perfect. Great whiskey selection and love the food. The lobster tempura sandwich is one of my favorite all time sandwiches and always get the buffalo shrimp and steak bites appetizers.

We had such a great time here during our visit for the Woodward Avenue Cruise 2019. The atmosphere is fantastic (smokey of course, but not bad... the air circulation system does a good job).The choice of hard liquors is extensive and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything on it. Everyone at the table ordered different flights of either scotch or bourbon and he recommended some good choices for us all to try something new to us.The walk in humidor is extensive as well. Of course they do not allow carry ins, but I was expecting that. The prices are very high on cigars compared to a cigar store, however, you are paying a premium for the location and the cigar bar atmosphere.Our visit here was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

Best steakhouse in town, reasonably priced for the level of quality. The steaks are phenomenal but what puts it over the top is that you can smoke top shelf cigars while enjoying your drinks, your meal, and company. Cool bar, great service, and every patron in the place is down to earth and friendly.

Went there for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience! Our waitress Kelly was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the entire experience memorable and worthwhile. The food was spectacular and the wine she suggested paired perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new experience.

Good food, great selection of cigars but the worst service I have ever had. Spend $176 and would have spent more if it wasnt for the bad severs. Left a $5 tip and the sever didnt even deserve that. The sever checked on us once in the over hour we where there, had to flag him down to let him know we wanted food, had to go to the bar for a relight, two of us there and had to ask for a second wind glass. Will not be back anytime soon if at all!!!

Very good food and cigars. However the service calls for a terrible rating and review. A server named David seemed to be on an ego trip, the manager told a member of our party they could not smoke a cigar. I then told the server, David I did not want to smoke a cigar either and he promptly kicks me out forcing my fiance to pay for her drink with her emergency credit card.

Excellent humidor selection, knowledgeable staff for recommendations with overall outstanding service. Food is great for dinner or apps. Very well stocked bar and staff. The air quality can get a little thick on winter days/nights if th crowd is heavy. Otherwise a great choice for food, drink and cigars.

I get its a cigar restaurant/bar...however, they need to invest in a ventilation system. It is so smokey in there to the point that you cannot breath nor see.

One of the best atmospheres in the cigar bar world. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. I asked about cigar suggestions and gave a description of what I wanted the taste to be and the guy gave me three and all were on point and not the most expensive cigars you could buy, so I trusted him. Drinks are pricy, but good and their food is exceptional.
