Nice little corner market. Has a wide variety in the store and he is super nice. I see reviews about prices and in my opinion they’re right inline with any other downtown store in Bham. If you’re in the area swing by and check him out.

The best little downtown grocery store on the south side of Bham. They have a little of everything. And the staff is very pleasant.

This market is the epitome of the old neighborhood store. You can buy anything from a cold drink to a washcloth or a first-aid kit. Nice folks too!

A neighborhood market aware of the pedestrians in the community and their needs. The laundromat next door owned by someone (Suds and Duds) else shows in November 2020; it is doing the same.

Have just about anything you need in a pinch, or dont want to go-to one of the big names places. Like a large truck stop without the truckers or travelers.

Kind employees, convenient, and very fair pricing, especially compared to similar convenience stores in the area. Theres a little something for everyone, especially weed smokers and folks who roll their own cigarettes. Tons of snacks, household items, even Hungry Man TV dinners and those giganteous burritos from back in the day. If you live nearby, is a terrific place to grab necessities without blowing money and getting treated like an inconvenience by the ghetto women at CVS.

They have always been very nice and if you ask them to stock an item they will. A bit over priced but thats what you get for conscience. They have a good wine and cold beer selection. Great for getting the basic needs around the house or sticking the pantry. They have a good supply of indie food.

This is my old neighborhood store & I miss it a lot honestly! You wont believe all the different options until you see it for yourself. Sometimes Id find something that Id just be shocked to find there. And the owner & night manager are great guys & SO nice! Man I miss Wilsons! 🙌 😍

Owner is cool. Has a decent selection. Not a bad option, especially if you cant get to a grocery store.

Cons:. This is a typical Birmingham neighborhood store. They sell stolen merchandise, expired milk and dairy, unlabeled mystery meat, rotten potatoes, and food they make at home.Pros:. The beer prices are cheap or reasonable. The beer and wine selection is plentiful. They have about anything you could need, from motor oil totobacco pipes. Everybody working there is very nice and seems actually happy.Funny gross: Their deli was deducted points for: washing and reusing disposable gloves for handling food...

Good place to get some essentials if you live in UAB south area. Good beer and wine selection, friendly people who remember their customers. Good prices.

Wilsons is a great store to find just about anything you want. The milk isnt crazy expensive like you would think. The beer and wine are hardly any more expensive than the grocery store and given its location thats pretty great. Need some tp or scissors? Want to try some frozen Indian food? Pick up some drain cleaner or a notebook. They kind of have everything and if they dont let the owner know and he will order it. They have 12 pack of Sierra Nevada cans because years ago I brought it up. They could work on their protecting the neighborhood and calling the police.

The owner and the rest of the employees are really nice. This place is a bit cheaper than the gas stations around here. And they have a selection of Indian foods!

This community market has everything you need in one place, and the people are awesome

This place sold me milk that had been expired for 6 days! I didnt realize it until after I took a gulp. I almost threw up. I took it back and he didnt want to give me my money back. He just wanted to exchange. He finally gave me my money back and said next time we can exchange as if they often sell spoiled milk. I just took my money and said dont worry, there wont be a next time.

The city should check their bathroom I mean no soap, pee all over the toilet. Lot of expired meat and milk product. Their scent stick is always on, to cut the store smell. Plus on the top of that the chunky indian guy (Ali) has an attitude. These ppl think that everyone come in their store is a thief!....(in their country maybe). Ridiculous! That guy should be an Fbi profiler. Btw they charge credit card fee.

This is the only place that serves as a grocery store, anywhere near this part of Southside.

Watch expiration dates on everything there. Three out of three products I bought there were old, stale, and expired.

Expired food marked up. A mix of everything from single random towels to moldy nesquik. I found myself more confused than anything.
