To keep this short; let’s just say that my wife and I have been through a lot the past 2 plus years. I have severe sleep apnea and have not used my machine in over 2 years; well since Hurricane Michael in October of 2018. My wife is a walking talking miracle. She had over a hundred heart attacks and had to have a heart transplant. Well, I needed a new mask and Mr. Chris just blessed me big time. Really and truly the equipment Is the same where ever you go. This man’s attitude and personality was impeccable. He just got finished dealing with a very upset customer and then he was just so awesome to me. I sit in my truck right now crying because of really good people like this man. He didn’t have to do what he did. This place is awesome because of the man working there. He is priceless and this company is blessed because of him.God bless Chris and OxyMed CPAP!!!

I wish I could rate this place a 10! Im from Texas, and after arriving at a hotel here in the Birmingham area at 7:30pm, I realized I left a piece of my CPAP mask at home, 9 hours away. I called OxyMed and was connected to an after hours call service. I explained the situation and 15 minutes later I received a call. He explained to me he was 20 -30 minutes away but could meet me at the office to help. At 8:30 he was there to help. Didnt want to charge an after-hours fee and was more than happy to help me get what I needed. Theres not many places like this anymore and I am very thankful for them and the service they provide! Thank you for a great nights sleep!

I was really impressed with Oxymed. Especially Emma, she was incredibly helpful. She gave me a rundown of BiPAP machines, masks and accessories. She is very knowledgeable regarding her products. She has a great personality that shines while talking to the customer. I will be a return customer as long as she is there!

Just a shout out to Whitney Temple for telling my husband over the phone that his prescription, that was faxed over from the Doctor, said he need to probably find another supplier. He called the Doctor’s office to find out what was going. They were amazed that they told him to go elsewhere since his Medicare/Blue Cross pays for almost everything. He has spend $$$$ and was never informed or offered supplies would be paid for. He is now using Neighborhood CPAP on Pelham Parkway as he said their more professional, explain his benefits and 3mo.supply eligibility.

I’ve been to the store before and I have had exceptional service. Today was no different. I had a new person, for me, greet me and take me to a work station. I had a problem with my bi pap making a noise. She gave it to a young man (Bentley)who took it in the back and replaced the motor in the bi pap while I waited. I travel a lot and needed my bi pap. Bentley saved the day! While I was waiting; I sat at Christopher’s station. He was quite busy and I asked him several different questions about different products. Christopher took the time to treat me like I was the only customer in the store... no rush. Bentley was right on time. Then I got to the register and Whitney was super nice and wished me a good day. All 5 employees were great. It doesn’t happen in this day and time. Bravo!!! You people should be teaching the class👍

We received excellent service from staff. Good pricing and shipping expectations!! They even directed us to other companies that took our Insurance but we didnt want the hassle of tracking down old records for Insurance.

I tried OxyMed CPAP because I had originally used another CPAP supplier nearby that my doctor had sent me to. I was very unhappy with the first place and now I can report that Im equally unhappy with this place as well. The first place sold me a breathing machine for $1200 and then called a few weeks later trying to get me to pay another $1000 because they said they sold the unit for the incorrect price. Thats a whole other story! Back to today...just got a bill from my insurance company for more than $300 after being told in the store that my total would be about $60. Partially my fault because I didnt insist on a receipt. The first time I went in, they claimed that a storm had just rolled through and fried their computers, but when I returned a few days later, they still could not give me a receipt. The service was terrible as well. There was a blond lady who I met with on both occasions and she had horrible customer service skills. She gave me a look that made me feel like I was bothering her and she didnt have the time for me. She handed me off to a young man named, Chris, who was VERY helpful, but it was only after I asked if there was someone who could actually show me what items they had and point me to something that would fulfill my specific needs. They do have CPAP supplies there, but prices are not shown on most of the items I saw. They just like to say, Dont worry. Your insurance will cover this. Mine didnt. Lesson learned. Mr. Bezos and Amazon will be getting my business in the future. I encourage you to avoid this place as well.

BUYER BEWARE. While the people may seem friendly their practices are suspect. I purchased a SoClean 2 Device and and paid full shelf price not knowing the manufacturer was offering $50 off. I asked why I was not offered the manufacturer discount and was told that I did not mention the OxyMed Facebook ad when I purchased the product. There is no requirement from SoClean for this distinction. Dont Pay $349 as I did, go to the website or another retailer that perhaps offers customer the best available price for its products.I was refunded the difference by the store when I returned and questioned the price I paid. OxyMed did honor the $50 off price.

My first CPAP came from OxyMed. Staff was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and very attentive to my needs. They provided me with every supply I needed and great education on how to use and care for it. I used to wake as exhausted as when I went to bed but thanks to OxyMed I feel better than ever before.

Can’t say enough about how great this place is! The people are so very nice. They are knowledgeable about the different devices and how they fit and work. They will also help with insurance and know what they are looking for so I don’t get the run around. OxyMed has been helping me for over 8 years now & I have always been satisfied. I even referred my mother. Any issues she has had have always been worked out quickly.Anyone that I run across that need CPap help or supplies, I send to OxyMed!

After Having issues off and on for many years using different suppliers for my c-pap equipment, The friendly people here at OxyMed were able to help me get my new equipment I needed, when I went on Medicare, without a hitch. With other places I have used, there was always problems with co-pays, getting replacement masks and filters and generally a feeling like you were being a bother. OxyMed has taken care of me without worries and never an issue with anything. I will continue to use them for all my supplies and needs in the future. I look forward to doing business with them again.

I always have a great experience at OxyMed. I have been a customer for over 5 years, and have never had an issue. One of my favorite products, has been my SoClean machine. They walked me through how to use it, and I have been extremely pleased with the product. I would highly recommend OxyMed to anyone looking for CPAP equipment and accessories!

Very disappointed with my one and only call to this company. After explaining why I was calling, and without any warning or being asked if I could hold for another salesperson, I was suddenly placed on hold and switched to another person. My next salesperson was very quick to tell me they would have to be paid upfront before I could even finish asking questions about the product. Good luck if you need a local business for your oxygen needs.

Truly, this is one of the most frustrating experiences I have on any kind of regular basis. From we cant find your latest prescription (even when Ive just been there) to were putting it in the mail and nothing arriving only to call back to find that they did NOT ship it but that for whatever new reason, I must come in but no one called to inform me of that. They nearly always behave like its a bother to wait on me. Finding another option is at the top of my list at my next sleep clinic visit. It just should not ever be THIS hard.

The time of operation say 8:30 to 5:00 I called them at 2:00 pm on Tuesday the answering service answered instead. I left a message with the answering service but no one has yet to call me back. What are your hours? I need questions answered about my account wish I could get help. This is not the first time I called and this happened to me. Go somewhere else for your equipment you will have a hard time getting in touch with them. After going to the store the owner is working on resolving the answering service issue. While I was at the store I got my questions answered.

I have used OXYMED over the years and found the service to be good.. Over the past two or three years there has been a major change in the quality of service at the 280 store. The ladies at the front desk act like you are really disturbing them if you ask a question. i really think they wish they were somewhere else.If service is important to you I would suggest looking elsewhere...

Twice in a row, I had to call three times to get someone to show up to replace the tanks, and they showed up a week late both times. These people deliver oxygen to people who depend on it. It is criminally irresponsible.

Just horrible. Felt rushed and brushed aside without given the proper information. Its crystal clear there are certain people they dont care to serve. Though I purchased my CPAP there, I will find somewhere else for service and equipment.

Left CPAP hose at home and needed one. Called and young lady was patience and helpful with directions. Heavy traffic and she stayed late to allow me to get the hose. Could not have been nicer.

Very Nice workers! They were inteligent on what I needed. They did not act like a salesman- they gave you space and room to think. It was easy and affordable. I was also informed that they are Areas largest showroom! On the shelf there were probably about 30 masks! It was a great experience!

I was very impressed with their knowledge of all their equipment and also willingness to help me save money. Most places want you to buy the most expensive stuff, the guy here took the time to show me almost everything. Also, it took several attempts at many masks before I finally found the one that worked for me and they were always very patient and professional. I wish all businesses were like this.

I visit the 280 store for the first time, and will be the last time. I will drive the extra 30 minutes and visit Neighborhood cpap in Pelham, where I felt very comfortable, the staff is much nicer and personable.OxyMed staff in 280 lacks customer service. I do not recommend this place. As I waited for information, an elder lady came in to return an item, the OxyMed staff failed to educate her and her husband on the return policy. All she wanted was store credit on item till her husband could come in and get the one he needed. Rude, inconsiderate and lack of empathy. Kindness, friendliness and thoughtfulness doesnt cost a penny.

My husband woke me up so often during the night before he started using a CPAP. of course, he didnt remember or realize it so I couldnt convince him that he was snoring and his breathing would all but stop for almost a minute sometimes. I was terrified he would have a heart attack. Quite frankly, it was taking a toll on me also. I kept telling him about it and couldnt get him to do anything about it. He didnt want to go to a sleep study clinic. I talked to the team at Oxymed about his resistance and they loaned us a home monitor to try and the results were very clear. My husband was not breathing properly at all! I never dreamed we could get help like that without consulting a physician first. With the help from the team at Oxymed, my husband feels better than he could ever imagine and so do I! He never goes anywhere without his CPAP. He even outfitted our camper to accommodate the machine with a 12 volt battery convertor!

Over the past two weeks, I received a total run around with no callbacks and lack of professionalism from a company called MedLogic. After UAB Sleep Center and I was tired of dealing with them, I asked my info to be sent to your company. I chose MedLogic over you all because they had a higher review rating. That was a terrible mistake on my part. I received a call the next day from a lady who was very polite and cooperative. I immediately left my office and came in. A young man named Bentley Cox assisted me and did a fantastic job explaining how my CPAP works and selecting my mask. Thanks for being professionals and taking care of me. I know I am going to love my new CPAP.

I first visited OxyMed 6 years ago. I was snoring and tired in the afternoons.Jonathan set up my sleep test appointment. I failed miserably. I stopped breathing for 89 seconds during the night. Called Jonathan and he set up my cpap so i can use it the following night. Been using it daily ever since. I like the large selection of masks . Over the years i have changed and used different styles. Also bought my SoCal & a travel cpap there also. Always have a great experience in the store. Always recommend Oxymed to all my friends and clients.

OPENED MEDICAL SUPPLIES. Time to look for another CPAP supply store. I have been going here off and on since I started my CPAP therapy almost 4 years ago. Some of them think theyre doing you a favor by selling you CPAP supplies and have serious attitude issues. They seem to forget there are other stores, including this thing called the internet. I also find it odd that when you purchase a mask, the majority of them have been opened, and sometimes missing parts. Are they using them to fit customers and putting back in bag to sell to you?? I was given the excuse it was opened to check if everything was there. Is Oxymed quality control is better than ResMed. When I purchase a new medical device, I expect it to be factory sealed. Im sure ResMed would like to know they dont trust their factory packaging. Good luck Oxymed with selling opened medical supplies.

Johnata Temple do you work for OxyMed? If so, you have just posted a postive review for your company.I also went into the store to purchase cpap supplies, like mask and filters and was told by staff that I would have to pay for them they would not file with Medicare. They would only if I purchased a completely new cpap system. That was my experience, none other like it the other places I have shopped.

When we started with them, the people who attended me as they were not trained to oriental one, they changed the masks for me about 6 times and different employees and none worked, and I had to wait 7 months to be able to treat others as they are rules of the medical insurance and I was 4 months without using it, when I came back I changed my mask style only through my nose and I have not been able to assimilate it because they bother me for x reason, but the attention of this employee is very good, I am going today Saturday May 30, to see what happens, if I finally find the right mask for me.
