It was end of January when AAA called this company to tow my vehicle to my desired shop to have the engine replaced. At first they kept me up to speed as to whats going on with the vehicle, then after about 2 months of having the vehicle I started to get weary. To make a long story short it wasnt until the end of September that I got my vehicle back, check engine lights were on, abs, and I even ended up giving these guys the price that they wanted. I strongly recommend staying away from this company! I had to get the attorney general involved to even get work done on my vehicle. So status update, the owner called me and offered $400 to take this previous review down.
Moe is an outstanding guy and always goes above and beyond to deliver great professional help. Hell have you in and out as fast as possible and for fair prices. Not to mention he might be one of the only people in North Dakota actually qualified to work on German cars. Hes taken care of my (e46 330i) (e90 335i) and my f82 m4 and always done an outstanding job.
BMW owner paid $225 for an oil change and they didnt reset the oil life nor add windshield washer fluid. We cant reset the oil life on our own. Not impressed and not recommending this business!
Shane was sent out to give a jump start he said he would grab my keys so I didnt need to come out. Its 30 below wind chill. He started my car and than stopped by another tow truck driver helping one of my neighbors try to start her car .I was so impressed by his thoughtfulness. Great service great attitude on this terrible cold day. 5 stars.
Used this company for a towing. Amazing service, very nice people. 100% reccomend over any towing companies in bismark. Sister and I broke down on way to Washington, and got towed. Mike was the one who towed us. So generous and nice . Excellent customer service.
Great people and helped me out with my aftermarket diffuser. Would recommend
Mo has always helped me with any problems my Volvo has had. He and his staff are fair in price and do quick, but thorough work. I highly recommend him to anyone with foreign cars!!
Very awesome place, gave my car a tow at a discount price for going to their shop. Mo was also a pleasure to do business with. He was a very proactive guy about getting in touch with me and telling me everything he would want to fix up and how much it would run. I will definitely be taking my car here for now on.
Awesome place. Mo was great to work with. My husbands car stopped working on a Saturday and he was willing to fix it for us right away. It took a while for him to get to us where our car wouldnt start, but he made up for it when he arrived for sure! Thanks for going the extra mile! I will definitely be going back next time I need my car fixed. Thanks so much!
My wife was in bismarck for a Dr appointment and her car died we called onstar they dispatched MASS the service was fast and professional i have been an ASE Master tech for 30+ yrs and they are the best shop that could have taken care of my wife and car when she was away from home A++++
Had my turbos changed on my 08 BMW 335i. The service was great and they did a great job! Owner kept in touch while my car was being worked and kept me updated on the progress. I felt that he dealt with me fairly and honestly. Great shop to have work done on your European car.
To be honest I was impressed they were able to get me in on short notice and help me with my issues. Also while there they listened to me and looked over my vehicle and gave me a fair estimate on other work that needs done. Considering the cost and pain of dealing with a European auto in north Dakota I for 1 am glad that Maas exists. No more Fargo or billings runs for me to get overcharged at a dealership.
Superb fast customer service. After a breakdown on the road, we were fortunate to have Maas towing via AAA. Courteous and helpful tow truck driver called their shop and arranged for us to have our vehicle fixed that day (vs the option of fixing it at my brother-in-law’s which I was not looking forward to on vacation). Service in the shop was fantastic - from the receptionist to the technician. Even though we don’t live in the area, I would highly recommend Maas. - Doug
I have a BMW 328i xdrive. Mo does quick work and is knowledgeable. Personable and helpful. Will definitely be returning when necessary
Very quick, professional, and respectful. I would recommend to anyone whether you drive a euro or domestic vehicle. They will treat you well. I wont go anywhere else with my vehicles.
Well, let see how to put this man and his business when it came to how grateful, quick, and amazing Mo and his staff worked on my Chrysler Pacifica.I took my vehicle in on friday to jiffy lube and was just going to get an oil change, only for it to go from quick, to no longer starting. I had to call my insurance company to get a tow truck quickly. Thats where Mike the tow truck driver came from a different town picked it up and was able to take it to their shop. Thankfully after a few hours they told me that my starter is not working and that it wouldnt be an issue to fix, and the best part. Mo gave me a vehicle to use, which is amazing for myself (7months pregnant) with my 2 kids.Skip over the weekend of July18-19th and he tells me that monday that he has an idea that it is my starter and wanted to call to get permission to check it, order the part and put it on! Was very happy to know he wanted to get my okay before he did anything. So now its Tuesday July 21st, and I get the call and tells me he has some good and bad news. I can come get my vehicle its running and doing great!! I have never been more excited to know that my vehicle is finally running and its not completely at a loss!!Not only did I return his car he loaned me but I even made sure to keep it clean. But I cannot say anything bad about how great and fast he worked. Even with the way the stupid Chrysler starter was put he managed to get it taken care of and even made sure all my fluids that was done at jiffy lube were in order and done correctly!Definitely worth taking it to him and will end up coming back again!! THANK YOU MO AND OTHERS!!
You hear about companies standing behind their work. Mo at Maas absolutely does and professionally.
Whenever I have any type of problem with my cars theyre the first people i come to. They always go out their way to make sure I know exactly whats wrong with my car and give me affordable price to get it fix. They also did an amazing job with my daughters Ford Focus in making sure it was safe to drive in again. I highly recommend this place, Mo cares a lot about his business, customers, and making sure you get a good and fair service.
The best customer service I have ever received! My car broke down, they got me in right away and had me back on the road in a timely manner. Very friendly customer service! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone! Thank you Mo for your amazing service!
My buddy and I were in NoDak on a out of state turkey hunt when our trucks starter gave out and we were stranded about 70 miles from the closest mechanic shop. To make matters worse it was memorial weekend. We got ahold of mo at maas towing,he was the only one who answered the phone and he sent a truck right away! When the driver mike showed up we were stranded way out on a dirt road and he jumped right in and got us loaded up and even gave us a ride all the way to Bismarck. Mo and his mechanic Elvis even came in on memorial day to help us get on the road. Cant thank the guys at maas enough for helping us out, the even let us dress a turkey at the shop while we were waiting! If you guys are ever in Missouri and break down give your ole buds a call and well come running! Thanks Mo!
My wife and I recently moved access the country and we broke down in North Dakota. I had my old truck packed up and was towing a car trailer. We called AAA and AAA told us that we could get a tow but we were on the hook for the trailer tow. AAA sent Maas towing. I spoke with Mo the owner and he and all of his employees took great care of us. He charged us a very fair price for the tow of my truck and trailer, as well as the emergency replacement of my alternator. As we broke down I thought to myself Congratulations on your successful move to North Dakota. This is where you live now. It was Friday afternoon and I fully expected to have to get a hotel and wait until the next week. These guys had us back on the road in less than 3 hours.
Very professional, friendly and quick service. Every time I call they always take me in without an appointment.
They came right away and helped free of charge from my insurance geico and he followed me to the gas station to be sure I made it there greatest service in bismarck ever they dont BS you or anything and will be spot on with you but whats wrong with your car and all that when I brought my car in many times
Our insurance roadside assistance selected Maas EuroWorX to service our flat tire due to puncture. The driver was on time, the app from insurance said 314pm, and the service truck rolled up at exactly that. The driver was professional and speedy with the fix, and gave a recommendation for a tire shop to get a permanent fix. Great service! Hes following us back into town right now to make sure we get there safe, and without any other issues. Thank you!
I was on my way out of town from a holiday visit when early in the morning, my tires went low and one went completely flat. I pulled over and my insurance ended up sending these guys and Im glad they did. I had thought maybe my tire had been wrecked from driving on it flat, but these guys were both quick and they filled my tires up and then gave it an hour to be sure what it was. Im glad they did that, as it found it was just deflated from the cold temperatures sucking the air out of my tires and there was no need for new ones. Ive had it happen before where someone tries to weasel new tires or parts for the car. There ended up being no charge and they recommended where to stop along i-94 to again add some air to my tires. Im just really grateful for their service and help!
These guys are exports they know what they are doing, highly recommended. They are as good as The BMW dealership but way more affordable!!!Honest, Fast, and reliable.
Not goog my bmw is dripping oil and I bring my car in perfect condition $112 I pay for oil change not good
We broke down on a cross-country trip on a Friday afternoon. Maas was able to tow us, get us in, get us fixed up and in the road in about 3 hours! way better than the find a motel for the weekend cos youre stuck here plan that we were worried about!
Waited 3+ hours for them to tow my car in the freezing cold, when they showed up the driver had a female passenger (can only assume his girlfriend) they were very unprofessional and unreliable, when they dropped my car off they just left it in the middle of the entrance, not even in the parking lot let alone a parking spot. After I left they went back and stole at least $500 worth of items from my car (2 long boards, a radio transmitter, an iPhone adapter, a comforter, two pairs of shoes, and a pair of sunglasses)
We had our Honda van transmission die on us, ended up getting towed here. The mechanics stayed late to have a look at our car (didnt charge for that inspection) when all the others had said we had to wait until Monday (36 hours later). These guys were just generally super accomodating and open about everything. They didnt push for us to get the work done there, and they were understanding about the need to look atround for other places to get the work done. We ended up getting them to replace the transmission, and they did it quickly and well (at least as far we we know so far, 5k miles later). If I were in Bismark looking for a mechanic, Id certainly be checking with this team first. We were really happy with their service.
They deserve 0 stars, they originally poached my business from another shop after coming out for a tow via my insurance agent. The swindled me out of 8k dollars, 2 tranmissions and an engine within a year and my check engine light is still on and the engine makes a grinding sound, also the air conditioning went completely out, not to mention they mutilated my vehicles exterior while in thier possession. Please refer to yelp for further details. This place has a history of swindling people who are in dire needs of vehicle help. Please go elsewhere, i have reported them to my insurance agency as well as the bbb. Dont even use them for a tow. They will try to tell you you need a new transmission. And itll be from a junkyard.
Maas picked me up on a tow from the side of I94. Towed my diesel pickup to his shop and found the issue was part that the dealer said was a week out. His mechanic was able to come up with a solution to get me and my wife back on the road. I had the pickup to a local dealer yesterday to have a once over and they checked everything out and gave it the thumbs up! Price to repair was fair and they were able to get me in right away.
They couldnt fix my car (Audi 2006) after they had the car for two weeks and they caused more issue in the car to the point where I had to sell the car.
We had a fuel pump issue while we were heading to Montana a few weeks ago and AAA sent out these guys to help. We also had a 20-foot trailer with us. They were able to get both towed to the shop. Now it was Friday EVENING on a holiday (Memorial Day)weekend ....... you would think nothing would be able to be done to get the car back on the road...Well we were able to get the problem fixed and back on the road to Montana with our 2 dogs.I want to say thank you to Mike and boss man for engineering a solution thst got us safely (very important) on the road.J and S
My fuel pump failed 20 miles out of Bismarck. Maas towed my vehicle on a Sunday. Fixed it on Monday. Gave me a discount on the tow, and a AAA discount. Gave me a fair price on the repair too. I would recommend them to anyone.
Found the parts that I needed for my vehicle. Reasonable pricing.
Communication could be a little better but he does know what he is doing.
I just recently brought them my 2016 BMW M5 that had all sorts of warnings and my dash looked like a Christmas Tree. It ended up that the steering wheel sensor calibration was off and it just needed to be recalibrated. Mo fixed it with me right there and he didnt even charge me! BMW would have charged an arm and a leg and I would of had to go to Minneapolis to get it fixed. Mo thank you very much and keep up the great work!
I called AAA and they sent out these dudes who tried to rip me off. I called at 1PM to get my car jumped, he tells me that something else is wrong with my car and he needs to tow it in. Or it is possible that the battery is frozen. He then states he would have to leave and get a different truck when he was driving a tow truck. An hour later someone from their shop calls to inform me that if I bring my car to their shop I would get a discount and the guy is on the way. At 4;15 I get a call he ask if he is towing my car back to their shop and I say no to my shop Capital Heights Auto, at 4:30 this guy comes back driving the same tow truck and states to me to you want to try jumping it again. I said yes of course, no luck then he states maybe you battery is behind your seat, I said no it is right where you are standing (so where has he had the cables connected to the past times he has tried to jump my car???) I said I can give you the manual if you need it, then he tries it again and magically it cranks. I go straight to Capital Heights Auto and all I needed was my battery cables cleaned. If you need a mechanic go to Capital Heights Auto, they wont try to RIP you all like these people. All I do know is that KARMA always comes back for SURE!!
Our sprinters serpentine belt shredded while traveling on I-94. AAA sent tow truck from EuroWorx, they quickly fixed it for a fair price and we are back on the road. I recommend them.
This wonderful company helped us out on a Sunday afternoon when we still had an 8 hour drive to get home
Worked on my truck and beat the cost at the dealer. Thank you much. Excellent professional services and I will go back as needed.
Quick qualified service and gave me good advice on what was wrong allowing me to fix it myself!
AAA recommended a shabby toe truck driver who did a poor job masking his I dont want to be here attitude. After detailed instructions on where to go and what to do when you get to my house i left the rest in my wifes hands. The ignition key to my wrecked Mercedes was lost so I had to go to Fargo to get the key so my wife waited for the driver at our house. Without any calls to my wife and I the shabby driver dumped my car on the front lawn! (UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT?) and when asked to come back to fix it he refused saying thats what i told him to do. (haha, best joke Id heard all week. I thought i was being punked)After a lengthy hold with AAA in steps Mo. AAA said no one would take the call but Mo AKA Batman. He used his bat tricks n put the car in neutral get it onto his truck despite the awkward angle. Though it was difficult he got the car off the lawn on onto my driveway.... all that with a busted front passenger side front and wheel that wouldnt move.He gets 10 stars on my book for responding and then going the extra mile to get it done right. Thanks again Mo, youve just won a new customer.
BEWARE I am the type of person that does not trust mechanics, however, after taking my car to this shop I can confirm I will never trust a mechanic again. Maas claims to work on imports, yet they cannot do a simple brake job on a BMW. I took my car here a year ago to have the brakes changed since I am always limited on time. I knew there was a problem as soon as I picked up the car and the brake sensor light was still on. The brakes were changed with very poor quality pads and the brake sensors EVERY bmw is equipped with were not replaced. When I had time this weekend to remove a wheel and inspect the brakes. (I know a year is a little long before checking) I noticed that the electrical unit for the brake sensor has been removed. I will be following up with the dealer I purchased the vehicle from to ensure the unit was there before I begin actions with the BBB and others. I have a feeling this isnt so much a European repair shop as it is a European Chop Shop BEWARE
Dont know when that happened to the guy that commented but they seem to get to my car right away all the time. and I always bring my redline here and they do a good job on it for a good price too.
Spent 8,000$ over the last year to fix little things wrong with my car only to see them get worse every time I get my car back. They dont do any work. I once brought my car in for a new engine once it hit 110,000 miles and they claimed to have had the new engine in my car in 4 days! I paid 6,500$ for an engine and they just fixed my old one!!!! DONT GO HERE!!!
This company is horrible. We called for a tow at 8:30am. Were told they would be here in 45 minutes. Never showed up or called. We called them 3 times over the 5 1/2 hours we waited being told they were on the way each time. They still never showed up and never got a call once from them. When we called them the last time they were rude. We had an appointment to get our car fixed at another shop and missed it because it took them hours. Its 18º outside and we have 3 children and my wife is pregnant. I would never recommend them to anyone. Worst company ever. We called hook towing and they were here in less than 10 minutes. Dont waste your time with them. Youll wait forever and wont even get a call. Seriously need to sell there trucks and find another profession.
THEY ARE THE WORST!!!! LADY WHO ANSWERS IS RUDE I HAVE HAD SUCH A HEADACHe WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! SAVE UR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A MECHANIC DO NOT GO HERE! A friend towed a vehicle here to have it fixed and a month later - IT WAS SITTING IN THEIR PARKING LOT NOT EVEN BEING WORKED ON. Save yourself the headache of dealing with lazy and incapable people and take your business elsewhere. Mechanics like Maas give my home Bismarck a bad name!!
What a joke... can never get to a tow job on time. Then we spent over 3 grand to have our vehicle fixed each time it came back in worse shape than it was when we turned it in. Funny how the warranty we bought covers NOTHING! Now it will be another 1300 to have a real mechanic fix it. I will never use Maas again. If my roadside assistance says they are sending out Maas I will tell them to shovel it. I guess you get what you pay for. No wonder your tows trucks got repossessed and all the other tow companys make you the butt of their jokes.
Maas was doing great job
