We were going from MN to MT for a wedding recently. We stayed over in Bismarck SD and decided to see if there was any quilt shops in town since we had some time to spare. Stopped in at Bismarck Sewing and Quilting and had thee most wonderful experience here. They had many, many samples made up and kits available. Tons of bolts of material and supplies as well. The sales lady Sharon, helped me choose fabric without being pushy as well as look up yardage as I didnt have my pattern with me. It was the best all around. Thank you for such great customer care and huge fabric selection. I will for sure stop in again when we come through. Coleen.

Called to find out about servicing my baby lock sewing machine and brother serger. The lady I talked to was very nice and professional. She let me know that they don’t service brother machines but she pointed me in the right direction. She very kindly discussed with me about what I needed to do to set up a time to service my baby lock when I will be in the area. Thankful for the kindness and professionalism that I experienced.

I Love this store! It is my go to place for ideas, fabric, kits that I can just pick up, without the hassle of matching fabric. The Staff is more than willing to answer your questions and give their very needed advice at times. I purchased one of their machines 3 years ago and being the daughter of a Singer sewing machine Dad. I never thought I would say this, but I do love my Baby lock.

This used to be my favorite quilt store, but sadly they wont serve ALL customers. They refuse service to people who cant wear masks. On my 300 mile trip, I took this route just to stop at this store, and was turned away.😒

Friendly atmosphere and employees. picked up a panel I have wanted for over a year and fabrics to go with it for under $50 total. they helped me find a coordinating color that is perfect. love this place. have taken classes there and always learn something new, love being excited about quilting season.

I went here looking for some fabric for a baby blanket and they have a big selection on soft fabrics they are a little pricey but you get your moneys worth the high quality fabric. The girls that work there are so helpful and kind.

Nice shop with beautiful batik fabrics but the service suffered. I waited at the cutting table while the store worker kept cutting fabric for a student in the class today and another customer who was continually shopping and brining another bolt to the cutter. I waited watching the shopper bring more then go back and shop for 15 minutes and the cutter just kept cutting for her and watched me wait. I had 8 bolts of Batiks and wanted 2/3 yards of 6 and a yard each of the other 2. They lost a big sale today as I told them I just couldnt wait any longer for them to help people who werent ready to check out.

I will be returning. A quilters dream shop. Great selection of fabrics and supplies.

My favorite quilt store...friendly and helpful employees!!

Went to get a small cutter for my sewing machine and the owner said I had to bring the machine in. Was very nasty about it. I went to their competitor and got the part and they dont even sell my kind of machine. Needless to say they will get a lot of advertisement. It was not a part that goes in the working part of the machine it was a part on top that cut the thread after threading the machine. Was not even close to any mechanical part of the machine. It was a $5 part.

They have alot of fabric but very expensive. Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby are cheaper. Besides they charge alot of taxes - city, county and state tax? Ive never heard of a store in ND charging county tax?
