Were not pleased with the job done for us. The door handles were not painted. Bumper was not painted.The back door was not painted. They took off the cover to the light and left it. We had to put it on. Paint was peeled off when tape was removed. There was debris in the paint. Definitely was not happy with job that was done. It was finished 1 day earlier than we were told. We took the jeep in for them to see before we said to paint it. Definitely not pleased.

I fixed my car twice here, excellent quality and honesty appreciated.First time got into an accident, had to replace the whole back bumper and it was done like brand new.Second time my left door hit the poll and was a bit off when closing. At first they thought I had to replace the parts but later found out that it was an easy fix and charged me way less than the initial estimate and was honest about it. Overall great service quality and price.

This is a rare place. The crew here goes above and beyond. From the moment I walked through the door I had great interactions with them. They are an honest and genuine group of people that take great pride in their work. The quote was accurate, they finished early, and the body work was exceptional. They made sure to complete all of the details as well, nothing was missed. Body panel alignment and even replacing the tints I had on the side markers of my rear bumper. I had forgotten to ask to keep a part that they were replacing for me, but somehow they knew and it was sitting in my backseat waiting for me. The car was detailed perfectly and shining when I came to pick it up.Rear bumper and front grille repair.

I asked them to paint my wrecker bed. They painted a identical one for campus auto. They refused. Not sure why, no explanation given. Waste of my time.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I rear-ended someone, and therefore had a pretty busted up front. The whole process was so quick- they quickly sent the photos off to insurance, and instantly called me to drop it off as soon as they got the okay from insurance. I dropped my car off the evening of March 29th, and I got my car back today (April 9th). 10 business days! It was much earlier than anticipated. They even cleaned the exterior AND interior of my car before I picked up. It is driving beautifully and feels like new again. This was my first accident, and I was devastated as I love my car so much. Im a college student, four hours from home, so I had to handle it on my own, but Maaco explained me everything and made the whole process so quick and enjoyable. I am so pleased with the work they did. Thank you all at the shop! I am so appreciative for everything you all did.

I needed some body work done on a WRX I purchased through Carvana which was damaged in transit. I was reluctant to take the vehicle, but they promised to cover the repairs and the test drive cinched the deal.Maaco was the in-network body shop, and I was pleased to see the good reviews. I dealt with Todd and am more than pleased with the work that was done. They promised 5 business days (a full week), but they were able to get it done faster, so that I dropped it off Monday afternoon and had it ready before noon on Friday. And what a glorious spring weekend to have the car for driving! Hats off for that, alone.Moreover, they did an excellent job pushing out the dents in the door and repainting and blending most of the right side of the vehicle; it looks as good as new to my eyes, which makes me all the more satisfied that I went this route.Only time can tell as to the longevity of the repairs, but as of now I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this Maaco. Friendly, fast, and skilled. What more could you want?

We took our van in due to scratches on back end of the van. Maaco went above and beyond to fix the scratches to make sure that it all looked natural and even better than when we first received the van. The team who work there are very friendly and helpful and we will go there again if the need arises!

Quality of work was good, time estimate, expectations, business process were not. Over a week to do work, which is fine in and if itself, but when we received emails indicating work was progressing these were completely bogus. Consistently didnt have any idea about the status of the work. Wont be going back. Price was 50% more than best alternative shops and not worth the difference.Our experience with competing shops in the area are also good quality work but more honest.- Moores: consistently best price, good quality- Collision Plus about the same price, more accurate time estimate and comparable quality- Prices most expensive, not really worth the premium unless you have unusual needsAgainst these options, Maaco/Campus Automotive does not compare well. Dont waste your time here.

They fixed our car after someone hit it. Very professional and good work. The only thing I didnt like was that they didnt call me to tell me the work was going to take longer than they originally said. I decided to call before I came out to pick it up, since I hadnt heard anything from them only to learn it was going to take an additional week. I had to make arrangements for transportation since I didnt know it was going to take that long. They ended up getting it done before the extra week so I really appreciate that though. Other than that, I was overall very satisfied.

Recently the battery in my 2012 Hyundai Genesis reached its limit. After a quick call to my roadside provider, a towing service (NOT Campus Automotive) was dispatched to my home. While the driver was loading my car on the flat bed, the front bumper started dragging the ground, as you can see from the before pics. I dropped by a quick estimate and as you can see from the after shots, Matts team of experts did a fantastic job on my car, it looks brand new. Turn around was fast and they even washed and cleaned the inside as well, true VIP service at a fair rate. I highly recommend Matt and the folks at Maaco!

I have never met a staff that was more helpful and caring than the one here at Maaco Blacksburg. I brought my car in for a side panel collision repair and they did a great job. I was greeted with a smile at every visit, answered every question I had, and explained things as fully as possible so I could understand what was being done and the reasoning behind it. After picking up my car, they said that if I had any complaints or questions, big or small, I just need to bring it back and theyd take a look and take care of it for me. I can tell they care a lot about their customers as they treated my car as if it were their own.

Highly recommend this place for people to repair their collision. I hit a trunk tire on the middle of the highway and it caused damage to my front bumper and engine protection shield. Anthony and Sonya in the front desk are so helpful. They answered all my questions clearly with great patience. Anthony called me every time when there was any change on my repairing. The crew there finished all the job within a week and a half and let me grab my car in time. The period seems a little longer than people usually cost because they must order parts from Lexus and wait for it. I was informed that they even replaced the battery of my key because I almost run out of the previous one. I can say that they treat customer’s car just as theirs own. The labor fee is $48 per hour. I can’t ensure if this place is the cheapest vehicle body shop in Blacksburg but it’s probably the best one.

I brought my car in for damage repair. A piece of sheet metal flew into the driver door. The were so nice and when I got my car back it looked as good as new! They didnt say anything about but they even vaccummed my car out, clean it decently, and even clean my windows too! I cant thank them enough for that, those windows were bad!!

They repaired a minor dent for me at minimal cost. They also cleaned the interior and exterior of my car which was such an awesome surprise to see when I picked up my car. My vehicle was totaled a few weeks ago and was subsequently towed to Campus Automotive. They share facilities with Maaco. After talking to the adjuster I asked for an estimate from Maaco just to be sure that I couldnt salvage my car. There was just no way that I could have bought another car as reliable as mine. Their estimate came in lower than what my insurance was paying out so it was actually a new positive for me. Sonya, their customer service rep, was incredibly easy to get information from. She kept me up to speed on when my car was going to be finished and added a few extra services just to make sure that I was satisfied. To me, customer service is the #1 indicator of telling that I company cares for their clientele and Maaco exceeded my expectations.

Great place to get body work done! Very open about what they they can (and cant) do to save costs with minimal compromise in the results. If you respect them, theyll respect you and work with you so that you get good results for a very fair price. Ask questions, theyll answer them as best as they can and help you understand what all is going on!

I was rear ended in my brand new truck before even using the tank of gas off the lot. It was not a good time. When I was deciding where to take it the reviews on here seemed good the the point of being fake. Theyre not.Maaco made the process pain free and worked with me and the at fault insurance company to make sure the truck looked good as new. All OEM parts, paint looks great, and great customer service.There was a lot of work that needed to be done, and they stand by their work. I would definitely recommend them for any service they offer, youre not going to find anywhere better in the NRV.

The pricing was great, quality was amazing and every question I had was fully addressed before and even after I had paid! Maaco Blacksburg was able to repair my rear bumper, and EXACTLY match a unique metallic orange paint-scheme on the replacement bumper. At first I was skeptical of trusting a BMW to a commercial paint shop, but this group knows what they are doing. The car was only there for 2-days. And they promised if I experienced any issues, I could just come back in and they would fix it.

I have a ten year old car, and the vinyl inside the doors had detached, so I brought it here. The employees were clear about what my options were: a more expensive permanent solution versus a cheaper fix that may only last a couple years, and how much those solutions would add to the resale value. They did a good job at the quoted price, and it was done the same day I brought it in.

Really great service. They are aligned with Campus Automotive~ I was in an collision with a herd of deer (the deer all won, it seems). Campus Automative was the only place open on Sunday; through AAA, they came all the way out to Lesters Gate, picked my car up, dropped me back off at home (so I could also empty out car), and then towed my car to Maaco / Campus Automotive. They worked closely with my insurance, phone updated me as things were happening, actually had repairs completed before they said they would. Everything went very well! Brand new car had bird poop damage on the hood, I dropped it at Blacksburg Macao on Tuesday morning, picked it up Wednesday at lunch time looking better than the day I bought it. While on a recent trip, someone opened their car door just a little too hard into the side of my car, leaving a long dent. The folks at Maaco were able to bring the dent back to level without having to repaint. I hardly even know the dent was ever there. Thanks Maaco!

Unfortunately my daughters car was involved in a hit and run incident at school. Fortunately she did some research and chose to get an estimate here. We live a few hours away so I was a little nervous about how this would pan out with her handling this without her parents. From the first interaction on the phone until the day she picked up the car we have been extremely pleased with the customer service, the work they did on her car, and when they went out of their way to assist her (and us from afar). Her car was finished before the date they told her and when she picked it up it was, well the cleanest its ever been since taking it to college. I HIGHLY recommend the MAACO in Blacksburg!!

This store left me without words. After a bad experience at the MAACO in Roanoke VA, we visited this store for an assessment. The work done by the other store was way out of corporate standards and the staff was unprofessional. After Visiting the MAACO in Blacksburg I have a completely different prospective now. They took collision repair and turned it into an art form. The staff was truly amazing and friendly, the body work can only be described as perfection and the cleanliness of the facility was immaculate.They even detailed our vehicle both inside and out before returning it to us. Do not go anywhere else for collision repair and services. This shop is at the peak of auto boy perfection.

Maaco may have a bad reputation elsewhere, but this Maaco in Blacksburg is fantastic. The people are ultra professional, the work is super professional, always done within the time specified or less, and everyone from the service advisors to the technicians are just fantastic. I have had two vehicles completely painted and repaired here as well as numerous minor accident issues dealt with since Campus Automotive next door opened the Blacksburg Maaco in October 2015. Matt McMurry and his employees are simply the best. You will get the best quality work done for far less than nearby competitors. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else for painting or body repairs.
