BEWARE- I bought out my lease on October 1 and the dealership has FAILED to deliver my tags. I called and left messages with the salesman Kris and he didnt respond. My temp tag expired on Saturday 10/30 so I went into the dealership. The GM told me he would pay for any fines I get while ILLEGALLY driving an UNREGISTERED CAR. They offered no real solution but to drive ILLEGALLY and wait until Monday when the DMV lady, Deborah, came into work. She DOES NOT answer the phone and HAS NOT responded to my voicemail. I am going on the fifth day of having a car I cannot drive with no solution in sight.

Stay away !!!! Would give 0 stars if I could. I reached out to them regarding a new M3. Kris told me the vehicle was still available. I asked for pictures of the car and one was sent showing a “sold” sign. I asked again if the vehicle was sold and he said “it’s still here.” However, the car was sold so I’m not sure what type of game he was trying to pull here. I asked him what his best price was and he said “20k over MSRP.” Are you kidding me ??????

Absolutely horrible experience, bought a car the next day and had issues with it. They marked up the price 1,000$ compared to window sticker on the car because they fixed the converter and “stuff” with no documentation of anything. The came up with every excuse on why they wouldn’t fix the car saying it was sold as is even though it was stated on the buyers guide that it had a dealer warranty. When I spoke to the sales person Robert Kaufman about the issue he mentioned that it was a cheap issue and why don’t you just fix it yourself. When you call the dealer no one answers the phone or redirect you to a voicemail. I’ve purchased many cars and never had the issues I’ve had from this dealer…

One missing star is due to the lock issue of X7 model in sales room! I wanted to check the latest X7 version but nobody could help me just unlock the car only!

The BMW service center located in Bloomfield absolutely gives you great customer service. I came in for an oil change and they were above and beyond with their service. The waiting area was very clean and there was the usual coffee machine and half sliced bagels for the wait. I was assisted by the Technician named Ahmed Elmahdy. He was professional and kept me updated what additional things was needed for my service. I highly recommend this BMW location if you need any type of service to your vehicle.

Such a bad dealership and a waste of time! Tony the salesman assured I would be able to drive a car but I drive over to the dealership and magically it’s not available. Then he tells me to come in Monday and basically just keeps dodging questions about that car. Call him later on Monday to see if I should come in and he goes no it’s not ready come Tuesday. Tuesday I reach out around noon and still he’s like oh the car isn’t ready and that he’ll call me right away. I’m still waiting for a response. This dealership lacks customer service and organization. it’s one thing to be short handed and another to just ignore a customer and give them false information. Went to another BMW dealership and making a deal. So many BMW dealers in the area to waste time on this one. There’s like 5 in a 25 minutes radius got Paul Miller, Morristown, Park Ave but don’t go here. Don’t waste your time folks.

The timeliness and effectiveness of care and communication were phenomenal. This was truly unlike any other service experience, prior. From the initial hospitable greeting to the final goodbye, the service and overall experience were amazing! Hopefully we wont have to go back anytime soon with another car issue, but its reassuring to know that well be well taken care of at BMW of Bloomfield if another issue arises.

Contacted the dealer via email for specific question. Benjamin the internet coordinator ignored the question and pursued to push for a in dealership visit. Regardless of my staying I have no interest in driving out. This is normal behavior for crummy dealerships.Save yourself the effort and work with other dealerships in the state.

This place has gone DOWNHILL! Have been a customer at Bloomfield for about 10 years now. Leased two M cars, traded in another BMW, had multiple service visits. etc. The service was generally great. However, in the last year to two, there has been high staff turnover, and boy do I miss the service center professionals from years ago. Now, I urge you to find another dealer and/or service center.My car (under warranty) is currently sitting in the service center for repairs. It was brought in over 3 weeks ago. Its almost a full time job to try to extract information on the status of my repair. The excuses (when you do manage to get a hold of someone) sound shady at best: the part is expected XX day... XX day arrives, no word; I call back for an update... no response... call YET again... were still waiting for the part... well call you next week with an update (of course, no one calls me when they say they will).I am fully aware that car manufacturers are dealing with parts shortages, which is not something I (nor BMW Bloomfield, for that matter) have control over. I accept that. What I dont accept, however, is the utter lack of voluntary communication on their part (all communication I received was *in response* to my requests for an update). Also, please be transparent in your updates. Dont tell me that a part is expected soon to keep me momentarily happy. Be realistic about your expectations and timelines, so that I dont need to waste my (and your) valuable time trying to get updates on the status of my repair. Its the professional and courteous thing to do.

This is the second time I take my vehicle to get serviced at this facility and ran into problems. The first time they did not honor my coupon, I was over charged and my vehicle was not washed, I did not sit there and wait for my vehicle, I dropped it off, so they had all day to be sure it was ready when I got there, this time I made my appointment over a week ago, advised them my boyfriend would be dropping it off but he needed a ride to work, I was asked how far? and I mentioned South Orange, I was told no problem, we can do that. Well the car was dropped off and my boyfriend was given a hard time about being dropped off, he had to go back and fourth with someone before they honored their word. I am so upset about having to make future appointments and getting anxiety over it. Do I even want to return to this service center? I dont think so, the experience has not been good so far.

I would say this as a worst dealer and never gives you right advice and makes you approve expensive repairs by making you believe its urgent. My 2007 car at 90k was driving okay with no warning signs on dashboard. Then oil change light popped as it was about to change that. So scheduled the appointment just for oil change. While my car was getting oil service I am told to its misfiring and it also due for service (lie) so need to change spark plugs too. So had to do that as I was not left with any other option. After that changes I have all kinds warning signs on my dashboard and my car reaches 100mph at only 1000rpm. Not sure what they did but looks like they screwed up something with my car. This type of issues makes me not for BMW and also this authorized service centers.Never go to BMW of Bloomfield for service. I have never thought that simple oil change would make me to send my to junk yard.And fact that I had my spark plugs replaced at the same location 2 years back at 70k mileage.

FRAUDS. I came to purchase a brand new car. I go through everything....they ran my credit, I insured the car...only to tell me when I give them my card to run the down payment...they have NO CAR TO SELL ME...that the car that I had been communicating with the dealership about since saturday, was sold on Saturday. At this point I have an unnecessary hit on my credit and wasted hours of my time. I have been sitting here even longer because the manager is too much of a coward to come down and talk to me. There is absolutely nothing you can do to make this right. You lost someone who likely would have been a lifetime customer. I will ensure noone I know ever buys a car here.

Never buy a car here. We waited like 5 hours to complete a purchase on a used car. Steeve who was our salesman was all over the place. There were times we would sit for like an hour without hearing anything from Steeve. It’s been over a month since we purchased our car and we called for the plates and they completely forgot. It turns out they been having the plates but just never let us know. We had to drive the car up to the expiration date of the temporary plate. Very unprofessional work environment. Buying a car here is like going through hell.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had with any car dealership. The sales advisor, Kris, was unfriendly and impatient while there was no other customer in the shop. They promised a test drive on the phone, yet refused to show us the car or even give us a proper rundown. Very unprofessional and no customer service. I called yesterday and asked Al Hendricks for photos of the interior on a Range Rover. He said he would request photos. Its 2021 walk out of the building take some photos with your phone and text them to me. Anyway 12 hours later I have not heard from Al or did not receive any of the requested photos. I called this morning and spoke with Al about the photos. He did not remember the car we were talking about and then upon looking it up again it had been sold. I would have purchased the car yesterday if he had bothered to get me the photos. Dont waste your time with Al, nothing will get done. Or dont even waste your time with this dealership.

Nearly two months after our purchase of a pre-owned vehicle with BMW Bloomfield, I can say that this was a positive experience all around. Bobby Kaufman went above and beyond to reach the deal we were looking for in trading in our own vehicle and made sure we were satisfied with the pre-owned vehicle we acquired. Bobby was willing to meet early (before 9am) to accommodate our work schedules and was always readily available by cell if needed. He seems like a genuinely nice guy to boot.The dealership included some parts and service as well, in coordination with their in-house service team. There, we interacted with Jin Yoon, who was similarly professional and worked to make sure we were happy with our vehicle and the standard of service. Despite COVID-related delays in sourcing parts, the dealership was good about keeping us updated and arranged for transport to/from while the vehicle was being serviced.

I recently had a mobile repair at my home for an updated air bag. The mechanic arrived right on time, was polite, explained what he was going to do and got down to work. He was quick (15-20 minutes) neat and efficient.One of the best service experiences I’ve had in years.I would also like to mention the two other dealerships would not do a mobile repair and said that it took several hours to do this repair.

Bought our 430i convertible recently from BMW of Bloomfied. There was a few weeks wait but it was so worth it. Even before I talk about the car, I have to call out Frank Salzano, the sales advisor from the dealership. Frank is a wonderful gentleman and passionate about what he does. We were getting fidgety with the long wait time on the car and he made an effort to keep me ‘proactively’ posted every day. He made the whole new car buying experience ‘seamless’. Thanks Frank!Now onto the car. This is our 1st convertible. The 430i (metallic black with red interior) is jaw droppingly beautiful! It drives pretty good too. I think it’s as good for regular drives as it is for the weekend trips to the shore. The rear seats for 2 is quite roomy and comfortable, there’s just about enough trunk space. The classy BMW gizmos on the front panel can’t be beat. Add to that the Harman Kardon music system and what else can one ask for. It’s a great buy!!

This highly constructive attitude results in clients like myself who will choose his service again and again when its needed.Jin handily led the very challenging effort to save my car from being totaled when it suffered catastrophic water damage to the engine and nearly every working part under the hood. He coordinated and negotiated efforts with mechanics, the insurance company, other advisors, and myself to keep the car from being totaled, and the car was returned to me in the great working condition it was prior to the incident. I likely may not have been able to repurchase the same BMW if it was totaled, and he knew this--so I have the car I bought back today because of Jin and his efforts to save it.He sets a high but attainable bar for his advisors and the mechanics crew that I suspect most dealers wish to attain, but fail to understand how to deliver--BMW of Bloomfield has found this special place with Jin. Ive only worked with two advisors of Jins caliber (including Jin) in the last 30 years--like the outstanding doctor, barber/hairstylist, or mechanic you find once or twice in a lifetime, once you find them, Jin is the one I want helping when my car really needs it, be it an oil change, or a major vehicle repair.Please BMW of Bloomfield on your next survey offer 6 stars so I can award him that! A 2 star review. What has happened to this once excellent dealership. I purchased here before. It took two days of asking to speak to a live sales person after contacting their website. They do not handle communication well. After finally hearing back from a different sales person, I was informed that they would assess a 5000 assessment fee for the privilege of ordering with their allotment. Fair enough, the unreliable communication was enough to steer me away to another dealer, the fee was not what I expected
