This facility has really gone down! When it was United storage it was fantastic! Even when it changed over to cubesmart some years ago, it was alright only due to the fantastic staff that was there. Carmelita, Richard, Shirley, and Courtney, were all customer service oriented.Some of the staff that is there now, I can deal without. Apologies, because I have not taken the time to learn all of there names. The only one that I remember that has treated me with care is Della. Most of the others that I have contacted are rude, nasty and are fabricators. Cubesmart needs a revamping of staff n preferably, some with experience and knowledge of how to treat customers.

My overall self storage experience was great. I received exceptional customer service from the office manager, Mrs. T. Ross. I am a first time storage unit renter so had many questions. She responded with valuable information and that made me feel confident Id made the correct choice with my storage selection. I particularly like how clean and secure the building was, inside and out.My daughter attends a nearby University and weve already recommended Cubesmart to her fellow students.

I didn’t book my unit yet, but Tati is amazing! I have a unique situation and she patiently gave me options and let me know timeframes. She is amazing! Great custom service!

I became a customer of their site at: 12400 S Western Ave, Blue Island, IL. I was assisted by a wonderful young woman named, Tani January-Ross. I was so pleasantly surprised to learn that she was the manager. The reason that I was surprised was because of her poise, grace, kindness, respect, and patience that she showed me that was way beyond her years. She had her instructional information down pat, and was easy to understand without being condescending, and was able to answer any and every question I threw her way. She went over and beyond her duty when after the tour, I received some upsetting news by phone, and she helped me with some information I needed. I really believed that if she was able to, she would have gave me a hug. But even tho she couldnt, I could hear and feel the empathy in her voice. Tani represents herself, her generation, and Cubesmart so well. I rarely do this, but I would be more than happy to recommend this site, mostly because of her. This area, (inside and outside) is not only super clean, but is just beautifully decorated, and of course well ran. And most of all, its obvious that Tani runs a tight ship, and and as far as I can tell, (and I good at telling) is definitely COVID-19 safety compliant. I would give them 5 stars all daylong, I even called her manager with my praises for Ms Tani January-Ross. It feels so good to be able to praise a business and it employees than have to complain.

I have had a unit at the BI CubeSmart location for over 5 years and recently moved into a new unit. Store Manager, Della, assisted me and it was a breeze. I enjoyed my experience with Della and felt very confident that I was receiving all the necessary information and protections. Della displayed excellent customer service and was very attentive. From our first phone call to actually meeting in person, she helped me figure out what the best option was for me—size and money wise. She listened to my suggestions and let me plead my case on strategic options the company could implement to increase customer satisfaction :-) I appreciate her patience and candor!

Came in and had a smooth and excellent experience with her. She was professional and nice. Super accommodating and knowledgeable of the services and products. Signed my lease that day and pleased with my decision.

Very positive initial experience in renting a storage unit at this location. The building is well-maintained and clean. Most importantly - it is secure with a door code and surveillance system. Having a climate controlled, inside unit was a priority and this fits the bill. The rental process was easy with the excellent customer service the manager, Michael, provided. The only negative aspect to the process is the surprise required storage insurance from a provider this company makes money on. It is something to keep in mind because it adds to the monthly cost. You can check with your own insurance provider before renting to see if you can add a rider or already have coverage to avoid this.

Della was extremely professional and accommodating! Being in sales, I always dread working with someone who fumbles their way through their process. Luckily, Della knew everything she was talking about and made everything quick and painless!

I came into Blue Island Cubesmart to pay my bill. I had a previous unresolved matter that I discussed with the Senior Manager, Tati January. Ms. January accommodated my request and also explained some very important information that was never explained or mentioned when I signed my lease agreement in 2013; neither was the information in the agreement itself. I am pleased that I received clarity and a replacement lock to satisfy my discontentment. Ms. January is very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really appreciated her patience and the time she took to explain the process to me. Please train all of your employees like this. Thank you.

Love the staff....miss Carmen a lot...but Jamelia and the new staff are just as nice and helpful. The place is clean and well lit.My only complaint...discouraging note is that I have been at this location about 2 1/2 years and needed the unit next to me to sort, downsize and liquidate my current unit. I was VERY disappointed at being charged that ADMINISTRATIVE FEE for the new place while keeping the old unit as well! I think if youve been a good tenant...always paying on time....that FEE SHOULD BE WAIVED!!!Thanks for being in Blue Island.

I honestly loved my experience at the CubeSmart Self Storage location in Blue Island! The manager, Shirlean, greeted me at the door and was extremely helpful. She was very knowledgeable of the policies, security measures and lease details as she gave me a tour of the building and showed me to my unit. Afterwards, we sat down and finalized the agreement and she was wonderful the entire time. The facility is very clean and organized, and I am comfortable leaving my possessions there until I no longer need storage!

Shirlene and Kortney did a great job for me for my new CubeSmart storage spaces. Great instructions - and I love my spaces. Very easy rental process, very easy in and out with my stuff.

The lady that works there is so nice. She is a good example of why good customer service will keep a business going. I dont even need the unit but i took my time cleaning it out because the lady was so nice and the building is so very very secure and extremely clean. So come on over. You wont be disappointed. Cube Smart is a complete scam storage company. They went up on my rent without notice and they quick to prorate you when you first rent a unit. Problem is they make you pay a full months rent if you move out around your payment date. Example: Im moving my things out in 8 day from my payment date and they charge me for 30 days, a full month.... which Im paying for days that I will not be using. The manager Carmelita was very unprofessional about the situation when I asked why am I paying for a unit that I will not be using for a full month. This place is terrible... my advice to future renters DO NOT RENT FROM CUBE SMART. Save yourself a headache and money.
