My VW had a pretty steady coolant leak. I took it in around closing, was called the following afternoon with a diagnosis and the part was ordered and put in right away. It took a few days longer than I was told but I understand because foreign cars can be a little tricky. I appreciate the fact that I was taken care of immediately and that they communicated with me with kindness and patience and understanding. The job was done well. I no longer have the coolant leak and they even flushed the coolant system. Thank you. You are appreciated

Could not find a solution for a replacement for a muffler, found a place by myself where they found a replacement or aftermarket part that works. Other than that they were nice and respectful, they gave me another place to recommend to go. Rest if the other services were good like the oil change.

Had to have a flex pipe installed. They were professional on time and even let me know about the military discount. Appreciated that.

Had an issue with my car howling and had no idea what it was as no indicator lights were on. I was able to take the car in that same day and get it diagnosed even though they were extremely busy. They determined it was the alternator bearings. I needed my alternator replaced. They quoted me a price which was very reasonable. No pressure and very pleasant. I had them replace it and it was done by the next morning. Very professional, very thourough, very pleasant, and Im very happy!

Maggie and the staff were terrific. I brought my car in late on a Saturday with a tire leak emergency. They fixed it and gave me the oil change as well in less than 1 hour.

Really helpful team! I found them to be very honest and thorough. Just got my brakes done and an oil change. I usually get my oil changes here and have had good experiences. They are quite efficient and can usually fit me in even if I don’t have an appointment.

Well we found ourselves in a dilly of a pickle. We called multiple places, they took our call even though they were closing, they said come on by. We got there. They were very pleasant, it was late and all. They took our car in saw that the plug failed on our tire. They dont sell tires but to our luck we had an extra tire. Our spare rim was no good. Chris the tech on hand was able to switch it out. I watch this man work. He is very thorough and professional, he cleaned the rim, tire and even checked all our other tires. I was very impressed with his work. Top notch.

I had a 2pm appointment and I went in on time. The person told me would take about 20 min but when I went back 30 min later, my car still at the same spot. Asked a worker in the shop coz no one was in the office. He told me they havent got to my car yet. I end up left at 3pm.Wont go back again and definitely not recommend this place.

I had taken the car back two times after the repair and the problem is still there. They are short-staffed and dont expect a callback.

Horrible service. We had an appointment for a simple oil change at 4:30pm. They told us 1 hour. We called at 1 hour 25 minutes and they said 10 more minutes. 2 hours and 15 minutes later my husband leaves there. No apology. No nothing. My car reeks of cigarettes and neither of us smoke. Extremely upset with how long it took and now my car stinks. Would not recommend at all. I highly doubt they even put synthetic in my car.

I needed a starter for my 2005 Chevy Malibu. They put in a new one quickly. I wish the part was cheaper but it was probably comparable to other repair places. After all said and done it cost in total $400. They were fast and quick. I will probably use them again.

This was a very unprofessional and terrible experience, I rarely leave reviews but this demanded that I express the dissatisfaction I had with the service, communication and lack of professionalism. No updates no information on pricing, just took advantage of the situation of my car brakes giving out. Told me a time in which I had to Uber to the location and then informed me they misspoke it will be another hour but I cannot wait within their building, so I have to stand in cold or pay an Uber to find somewhere to be. Totally unprofessional, lack of communication or customer care, brought it in a day prior and was told not busy would be done before noon. A day passed and now it’s still not ready few hours before closing time. Completely frustrated and disappointed. Would not recommend or ever return here again.RUN AWAY!!!!!!

The time and Quality in the work that they do is great. The mechanics were casual and professional when handling my car and transactions. The only gripe I have is that I needed a part delivered which I get but it took a little too long. It added another two hours for my car to get repaired. All I know I will return because I like the service that I got and I like the quality of their work

Car battery died on my Buick Enclave and I bought a new battery but could not install it myself as the battery is located under the seat in the car. Talked with Jim and he said the work would be done in a couple of hours. Work was done quickly and car is good as new. Jim was courteous and friendly. Will go back again.

I stopped in to get the oil changed after work on a Friday and didn’t know if they would have time to get mine done. They said they had no problems with getting my oil change done. It was as a good price for me and no pressure to pay for extra stuff. They did point out to make me aware that the brakes will need service soon but still it was not pressured to get it done immediately. They were very friendly and helpful. I would go back to them again.

I had taken my car in on 03/06/20 because of some engine problems I was having. The manager ( I believe) named Jim was there and was very helpful. He thoroughly walked me through the steps they would take to see what was wrong with my car. He explained to me in detail what repairs were needed and what wasn’t. The work that got done didn’t end up costing an arm and a leg, they did not overcharge at all. Afterwards I received a receipt with no hidden fees, and every exact thing done to my car and the reasoning behind the price. He also cleaned my cars battery cables free of charge. I’d recommend going to this place for all your car troubles. 10/10 I’m definitely coming back here again!!

I called at 12:30 to validate that they could service my car. The shop did not want to make a commit ent because they needed to see the car first to validate if they could change the transmission because some cars do not have drain plugs. They setup a 4 pm appointment. When I got there at 4 they were ready. They did everything they said I the time and for the cost they said. In addition I noticed how friendly and helpful they were with all other customers. The woman at the front desk was wonderful and very knowledgeable.

I always take my car to this Meineke for oil changes. Everyone is knowledgeable and value my time. Their prices are reasonable and if they have a coupon they always let me know.

I was told to come back at a certain time to avoid the wait, but when I got there they told me that they weren’t doing anymore oil changes for the day. They did brake job on my mini van they did excellent job first I used the free inspection where they showed me exactly what I need and give the price and how long will take sure enough they finish the work on time as promised.

I came in requesting an oil change in my 2011 Lexus GS350. I had recently purchased the car and didn’t know what kind of oil to use. The receptionist said it was a basic oil change. The following Monday the dealership informed me that it was supposed use full synthetic. So much for depending on them to know what’s best for the vehicle. I’m very dissatisfied.

We then went to Firestone which services all the cars from the dealership which is where we bought our car . Our car was inspected today and there’s nothing wrong with it . Needed unexpected brake service on a Sunday and this location is very close to my house so I took a chance (as I would have to walk to pickup my car). They needed to keep the car overnight for parts availability reasons; but service was friendly and prompt (total time without car was about 24 hours and they accepted it right away). Considering I did not have any previous appointment or any advance warning this was probably the best I could expect on short notice. This place looks like it might be haunted by the bad reviews left under previous management but Im willing to take my vehicle to them again to see if the service level is consistent in the future.

DONT EVER GO HERE!!Took my car in for an engine problem and after paying $100 for maintenance, it had the same problem on the way home. 2 visits later after they claimed both times that the problem had gone away, it was still not fixed. Charged me $300 for a new alternator that fixed nothing. After a dispute with them, instead of giving me my money back, they determined that my catalytic converter was the problem and offered to replace it for free. After further research, they put in a cheap $50 catalytic converter. Dont go here. Ever. Unless you want them to rip you off with insane prices and provide you cheap lazy work.They offered to fix my entire exhaust for $950. I went to another shop in plainfield and they quoted me $400. Do you research, people.

These guys where very professional and where quick with fixing my car up, check my tire for a leak, flushed the radiator, oil change and tuned up my ac within 2 hours. If you get there early enough in the morning its a quick in and out but if its past 1030 Id call to make an apt. Because they get busy quickly but for good reson, these guys are great! Had 2 holes on the rear part of exhaust pipe (about 8 inch apart), but I only noticed the bigger one. I left the car to the shop for an estimate. got charged $39.99 for a 4 inch metal pipe (same pipe is $3.99 in auto zone) and $110 labor to weld it in place. My question is that why they did not the just cut the section of both holes and put in a 10 inch pipe? now $166.41 later, I have a 4 inch newly-welded pipe and a hole right by it. guess where I will take my car for anything next time? surely NOT this place.

I took my truck here in August 2018 to have my brakes replaced. Well a year later guess where my truck is! At the auto shop getting new brakes. So thanks meineke for wasting my time and money.

I was grated when I arrived and they reviewed the work to be done. I needed a new rear wiper in addition to a tire and they offered 2 options. The first to get the wiper switched out that day and if it wasnt the right fit they already had a full arm replacement on order.

For some time now this place was ran by a bunch of kids and unprofessional people. Now with new management this place is now a customer friendly shop, much better professional and they care about the customer. The new manager is very knowledgeable, I went in for breaks and I am very satisfied with the work that was done. Will go back.

They promised me my car would be done on the 24th before they closed. Christmas they were closed, I didnt get my car until 6:00 PM on the 26! Quoted me a price over the phone, charged me more! Lost my front grille on the right side, had a chemical smell that gave me a headache.

They take all day to just look at something. Then they charged me 60$ just to look at my car they didn’t even fix anything. Then when they were giving me prices they were adding things that I didn’t even ask them to do. Terrible service and rude.

I had to bring my car in, as the break line was leaking. As it’s less parts and more labor per the manager Mike. I was the second customer of the day and they made me wait for 3.5 hours just to justify as labor intensive work. They are charging price as Auto dealers. I would not get any major job down by them Just the oil change.

Took my car here when it had a power steering issue. They fixed the power steering problem and I declined the recommended related fixes. Less than 24 hours after I had that fixed, when I went to get gas the next day and run some errands, my car all of a sudden had no radiator fluid, no trans fluid, and had some issues with the sunroof. It essentially broke down and I had to call for a tow.Towed it to my cousins shop in elmhurst who questioned how the ring could be missing from the radiator hose (which naturally had decoupled due to pressure with no ring) and filled up the trans fluid which was bone dry with no noticeable leak. He was surprised it was able to drive being that low on trans fluid and that I hadnt ruined the transmission.Cant recommend this place as Im not a big believer in coincidence; ive never had this many major problems with the other 5 cars Ive owned, let alone all at once.

Terrible experience. An appointment was made days prior for an oil change and new breaks. 3 hours after the scheduled appointment, the car hadnt been touched. We left and were told that they would call when the car was ready that evening. Called at around 6 and was told the car didnt really need the breaks done and that there was something else wrong with it entirely and that they werent done with the vehicle yet because the wrong parts were ordered.We could not make it in saturday to pick up the car as we had family obligations. The website indicated that the shop was open on sundays so we went to pick it up then only to find that the store is actually closed on sundays. Came to pick it up monday only to listen to worker behind the counter joke about how we were supposed to be there to pick the car up on Saturday! And he also didnt exactly know the specifics of what was done with the vehicle because he walked in halfway through. So apparently no one knows what the vehicle actually needs, or what was done to it...no one knows what parts are the correct parts, and there is zero accountability in this shop in regard to timeliness or customer service.This is a terrible shop and I wouldnt recommend going here...EVER

Seems as this place is under new management. None of the previous reviews seem to be accurate anymore. Brought my mini van to check the brakes. They were squeaking inconsistently. They checked the brakes and even let me look at the brakes with them. He explained to me that brakes were good and showed me why and what they would looklike if they were bad. Only paid the minimum to have him check. Awesome job!

Watched an employee ram the front end of my car into the curb a few times..then he had the nerve to tell me that I had front end suspension problems upon lifting the vehicle. Literally just wanted to remove the bolt that drains engine oil, SMH. Shouldve only cost me $5..ended up being near $20 to remove a bolt..rip off. Luckily for me, its tax season and I know exactly whats wrong with my suspension components. 1 star.
