Been a tough year with my mom passing from Covid. Needed to store my Dad’s cherished pickup truck between home sale & move. Jim was helpful to pick a work-able storage option & explain leasing agreement in detail.

I have never had an issue onsite, with my storage unit or being able to get to my storage unit, day or night. Used this facility to ease moving. It was great. Clean, quick, systems always worked, and we made extensive use of our large storage unit. Manager warned us about the road dust that these units get (from being near to the highway), so we covered anything as he suggested, and it was very easy to clean up once we moved out. They canceled our account automatically when we cleaned out and left the keys in the specified way, it was excellent. Perfect experience.

I put my stuff here a while back when moving between places. It is well-kept, right off the highway and reasonably priced. The property manager Jim is really easy to do business with. You couldnt get a question by him even if you tried, he really knows his stuff! I highly recommend renting here if youre browsing the area. I will rent here again in the future!

Clean units and friendly staff.

This place is fantastic. Jim goes above and beyond to help us out. Unlike other storage centers whom are quick to say, Im sorry because of policy we cant do that Jim finds a way to get things done. A quick example of one of the many, many times Jim helped us out is when I was re-arranging one of our units and had a bunch of empty boxes out front. He drove by in his golf cart and offered to take them all to the dumpster for me! What a great guy! What a great place!

From the very first moment that I encountered Jim (over the phone) - I was extremely pleased with: his level of knowledge; experience and genuine concern about matters that affect us all in some way (ie personal safety afterhours; protection of goods stored in the unit during season changes).🥰 He’s very professional and he takes pride in listening to us as opposed to forcing one to go with whatecer. Overall, the office area as well as the grounds are very clean and well maintained. Hands down, I’d choose SSS over the “big box names”

Update 9/2018 - Upgraded to a larger unit towards the back. Pricing was the best in the area. The new 10x10 is great. Easy access, the road in front is clean and well kept and Jim was really helpful with the transition. I guess I have been here for a couple years now and have no plans to move to another storage outfit. Still a 5 star!************No problems for me over the past couple of years. All the units are outside, so it does get a little cold in the winter as it is located right next to the highway and there are no trees to break the wind. However, it is not like I spend hours there, so not a big deal.The units are what you would expect. I have a basic outdoor entry unit and most (if not all) of the others are the same except for different sizes. The entire site is kept in very nice condition and always clean. The front gate works fine and as a general note, I have never felt security was an issue there.The staff has always been great. From day 1, I have always felt they appreciate the business and are willing to do whatever is necessary to keep things running smooth.

I stopped by to take a look at a unit and I was very impressed with the manager Jim. He was genuine and very customer service oriented. He was extremely helpful with all the questions I had. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to store here!

We use storage for our business and extra equipment. Jim, the storage manager was very helpful helping us choose our units. Double doors on each unit fit our needs perfectly. Nice safe area. 24/7 access, and Jim is always on site if we need him. Most storage places you are on your own most of the time, This one is well maintained, clean, not crowded, plenty of maneuver room driving wise for trailers too. Right off of hwy55, easy access. Wish we had checked this place out sooner, glad we are there now.

After speaking to a young gentlemen Tim, I selected Simply self storage! He made me feel like I can trust the company and I was very pleased with how helpful and knowledgeable he was. I did a lot of research regarding prices and options for storage units/facilities when i came across SSS; they are by far the cheapest in the area & located right off of i55. I came in to rent a unit & I was greeted by Tim, his knowledge of the store was great & he had outstanding customer service. I will definitely be storing with SSS in the near future.

Very well organized facility. Was given a detail list of all charges, fees, etc. Was shown storage unit before signing anything. The gentleman who helped me was very detailed and answered all my questions.would definitely reccomned this place.

Update: in the last couple years of renting here and a few visits to my unit, Ive learned theres been a mouse infestation which has destroyed countless items. There is now a film or layer of dust/ dirt/ grime across everything, and Im pretty sure I found mold on my couch that wasnt there before! The companys solution.. Move units and hope I dont run into the same problem. Highly disappointed!I have rented at this facility in the past, and I was happy to be a return customer. Jim was very professional and easy to work with. Moving is a stressful time, and he made our time there seamless and pleasant. The facility itself is kept clean and secure. The pricing and promotions offered are better than fair. I would absolutely recommend anyone here when in need of a little extra space!

I never used a self storage unit before I was told about Simply Safe Storage in Bolingbrook. I have to say the location was very clean & customer friendly. The units come in different sizes so no matter what you have to store, they have a unit for your needs. I travel back & forth from Chicago to the West Suburbs everyday & having this facility in a safe environment means everything to me. Gives me peace of mind to know not only will my belongings be safe & guarded, but me & my family will be safe when we use our unit.

Theyre good people here. The gentleman we dealt with was very easy to work with, and the prices were very reasonable, comparable to similar storage units. The spaces appear to be clean and well-kept.My sole complaint is that while we were cleaning it out at the end of December, I was really wishing that they did a slightly better job of plowing and a far better job of salting. (Keeping the paths clean resulted in snow being pushed up against the buildings and the doors of the units. Stepping through that was bad enough, but carrying furniture over black ice was an absolute - and very dangerous - nightmare. I almost fell several times.) Thats it though.

When I walked in to Simply Self Storage, I “simply” didn’t know what to expect. Well let me tell you, all of my negative feelings that I’ve harbored towards cheap storage units ripping me off over the years have been vanquished. Simply Self Storage is the way to go, and that is due to one very successful man: Jim. I was nervous about meeting a stranger to store my things but little did I know that I would be making a compatriot for life: Jim, you’re a gentleman, a scholar, and a madman! I love it! This guy has a freaking pet squirrel people!! But more importantly, he’s really good at his job, making sure your things are simply and safely stored. That alone should be reason to go home, open up that checkbook or wallet, and start storing your stuff safely yourself! Do it now before the whole unit fills up! To paraphrase America’s favorite rapper Jay-Z, “I got 99 problems, but storage ain’t one”! Go to Simply Self Storage if you care about your things!

The managers are super friendly! They are pretty fully disclosed everything about what we needed to do to move our stuff in. They also have squirrels that you can feed. Great place to have the kids to keep them patiently waiting whIle you out your things away. Super cool.. just one thing make sure you bring the peanuts haha

Jim was a pleasure to work with, showed me different size spaces, walked me through the ins and outs of the contract, and showed me how to use the facility and locks. Easy Peasy!I loved that there were no hidden fees, the number I was told over the phone was what I paid in the office, LOCK AND SECURITY FEES INCLUDED.All the other big name companies would quote a price and then start adding for locks, security, the sky being blue and drive up the final number by at least $30-$40. Not cool!Simply is straight forward and safe. Cameras everywhere.I highly recommend this facility for your storage needs.

The guy there is great but overall the company itself is not customer friendly. Their charge for insurance is high, if your a day late its $35 fee, they charge you to pay online with a card, and you can not use a 2 different cards to pay with if you need to. They also do not send any type of monthly bill. So irs rasy to forget and you pay late fees. After tax, ins, fees my $97 a month unit comes out to $130 $160 if im late
