If I could give it a zero I would. I ordered two canvas pictures and they were supposed to be ready this past Saturday. I didn’t expect that so I wasn’t mad about them not being ready when I checked because the truck didn’t come in. Sunday I got a call saying that they would call me when they were ready. Tuesday I call myself to see if they were ready. Not only were they not ready they were taken out of the system without me knowing and no one was going to tell me apparently! I ordered these when they were 75% off and now the deal is gone. Terrible service!!!
Thank you for filling my medications even though it was close to closing time. The other local Walgreens refused to fill them because it was 5:20 and they closed at 6:00. Normally a next day pick up wouldn’t have been an issue but considering I just left the ER, waiting wasn’t an option. Kidney stones are no joke and I really was disappointed when the other location wouldn’t even consider helping me out. When arriving at this location the technician did state that I would have to pick up tomorrow because by the time I made it there it was of course even later. Once I explained my situation Ms. Mesha was quick to make sure that I received my medications. So I want to thank you Ms. Mesha for your kindness and professionalism. We are a military family and we don’t have many options as far as what pharmacies we may use. However, I can promise you I will drive the extra miles to come back to this location. Thank you! You rock!
The pharmacy took all day and kept telling me itll be ready in an hour and wasnt, then when I did get the prescription it was not the total amount I was prescribed. I definitely would recommend not using this pharmacy
Pharmacy staff is very rude and unprofessional! A customer should NEVER be told so, what you want me to do about it.
I was trying to schedule testing for me and my children on line. I was unsure of what our insurance information was and the guy who answered took his time to answer my questions and helped me figure out what to do from there. Thank you.
Walgreens these pharmacy hours are unacceptable! Closing early and opening late is not it! I really need my antibiotics! If I become sick Im going to sue you people for everything you are and arent worth!!!
Friendly service at the pharmacy but slow
I hate most of the people in the pharmacy. You can hear them talk about white people and they act like they don’t care who hears them. Will definitely be pursing action!!!
The pharmacy staff is extremely rude. The store is dirty. Just an overall unpleasant experience.
Would be nice to be able to get some medicine after midnight,if needed...this is ridiculous
Recently went to pickup a prescription when I arrived home the bottle was full to the top. Looked at the bottle and my script both said qty 14 dumped out the bottle 24 in the bottle. Called the pharmacist to let them know they apologized and said you can just keep the rest for the future. I proceeded to say negative I cannot I will flush them down the toilet. I am in the military and if I was to take this script after the prescribed days or had more pills than what the bottle qty says when going through the gate that could be my career. So advice would be stay clear of this pharmacy if you can and if you do go there count your pills before you leave. Obviously they are not practicing good medicine control or standards here.
Friendly and fast service
I absolutely love the Walgreens on the corner of airline and shed road in bossier city Louisiana. Ive been coming here for several years and have never had any problems. Great customer service and the pharmacist are very helpful, they always explain a new prescription to me in full details. Mr. Allen is such a sweet person in the pharmacy. I wish they were open 24 hours again because when Im really sick and need a prescription filled theres no way I can go to the Walgreens in Shreveport thats open 24 hours the drive is way to far, please open back up to 24 hours, there is no pharmacy open 24 hours in bossier or Haughton.
One of the main functions of a Walgreens is to order/pickup pharmaceuticals, and your hours are abysmal.
Showed up at 10:00pm to refill a prescription and the girl they had working there was SO sweet & nice! Made sure my discount went through, was very patient, and smiled—a shock for someone who has to work so late! I wish I had gotten her name but she had long dark hair, in her early 20s, and dang that girl needs a raise because she did awesome! I want to go back!
I always have good a experience here, and Ive worked next to this location for 3 years and lived by there growing up. Today I noticed a thin young lady, who I assume is a/the manager, walking around and cheerfully helping people find what they need, she even asked me if I needed help and showed me where they might have what I was looking for. Great enough customer service to take time out of my day to write a review on Google for this Walgreens location.
DO NOT TRY TO GET PHOTOS done at this Walgreens!! I send the order in at 2:30 through there website and they were suppose to be ready by 2:56. We got to this store at 3:30 and the manger was in the back with a truck and told the cashier up front that it would be at least another 30 min before she could help us. There won’t be a need for trucks to delivery if they put there customers last. So please don’t go to this Walgreens if u need photos done or anything else.
Truly horrible experiences to be had here. Me and my wife have had nothing but grief from this location, and their corporate office will do nothing about the issues that have pervaded. The pharmacy automated system is completely broken. I have ordered refills through it, and those orders simply do not appear in the pharmacy computers for them to process it. I have to talk to a live person every single time now if I want to get a refill done, or come by in person, which I should not have to do. According to one of the pharmacy employees there, they are aware that it doesnt work, and their IT department seems to refuse to fix it.Also, the level of service there is completely horrid. Weve had prescription orders mixed up, incorrect pill counts, misread doctors orders, all of which should never ever happen. Thankfully, it was fixed when pointed out, but mistakes like that should not be made. Not when dealing with potentially dangerous drugs. Not to mention the lack of competency of their management to recognize when a person should not be dealing with the public. Like a specific employee who stutters so badly, its like he is speaking another language. He is nearly always working the drive through, and he is completely unable to be understood. I have to ask him several times to repeat himself before I can begin to understand what he is saying. I know he cant help it. But he is relaying important information, and if I cant understand it, he shouldnt be working in that capacity.
They consistently shorted me on my controlled substance prescription. Now I never leave without a count. Please be careful if they fill this type of medicine for you.
Wow never have I ever experienced such rude people in my life! I went there to get 1 prescription that was called in by my dr. I waited 1 hour before they asked me could they help me! I live 30 minutes away the lady that was asking could she help me was very rude and short she told me that when the pharmacist checks his vm then he would fill it she never told me they was working on it or anything I waited 3 hours!!!!!
Regardless of what the doctor prescribes, the pharmacist always has an issue with the prescription(s). He won’t fill the prescription(s) without talking to the doctors office first which tends to hold up the entire process by days. It is so annoying, especially because the doctors office is submitting the prescription(s) right from their office. It’s like he is second guessing the doctors orders. I contacted my pharmacy provider through my health insurance company and even they said that this pharmacist is “abusing” their “power” over dispensing medication. During a holiday weekend, I had gone to the doctor late on a Thursday and my physician refilled my normal prescriptions for the next six months. The pharmacist refused to fill the medications, which I was out on Friday, and I had to wait until Monday so the pharmacist could talk to the doctors office. I asked him to look at my prescription history and he could see that I received the same two medications, same dose, same amount, etc. No Change... I had to wait until Monday because this Walgreens pharmacist wanted to make sure the doctor, that signed the prescriptions on the same form, was ok with me taking the medications. It’s frustrating, the only reason we were using this pharmacy was because they were 24 hour pharmacy. I’m thinking it’s time to go to CVS because this is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure my physicians office is beginning to get a little irritated as well. My doctors are tired of being second guessed by Walgreens pharmacist.
This is by far the worst pharmacy Ive ever used. Ive called in medicines and even refilled online and its never ready when I get there. Ive stood in line at least 40 minutes a few times waiting on meds. They need to do better or find another place to work.
Ive been waiting on hold for an hour. Its almost 11pm. They hung up on me earlier after the phone just kept on ringing and ringing. Now Im just listening to the soothing sounds of hold music and frustration. This is the LAST time I use this pharmacy.
Dropped of a prescription for my 18 month old son and was told it would be ready in an hour and a half. An hour and a half later I come back to get the medicine and am told they do not have the medicine and it is on back order. Wtf?? No one knew this before I wasted an hour and a half and a half of tank of gas? Eff this Walgreens. They can $*&@ a fat $#@&!
Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever! I have never had an issues out of any other department of this Walgreens, but the pharmacy is horrible!! Every time I schedule a pick up it ends up being delayed, theyre never ready when the say they will be, they dont call back when they say they will and a good portion of the staff dont seem to have any clue as to what they are doing. I have asthma and need my medications regularly and they never have my medicine ready. Ive had to go to the ER over an asthma attack that could have been prevented if it didnt take 3 days to get my damn medication. The staff provides the worst customer service I have ever experienced and have no sense of urgency when it come to other peoples health.
Clean, friendly staff, a lot to choose from
So I come into the pharmacy and realize the doctor didn’t write a prescription for one of the things they said they were going to. So we ask the pharmacist if they would mind calling it in assuming they could get it done quicker. They told me that the clinic was now closed. Seemed like an odd time to close. So we call and get the missing perscription sent in that couldn’t possibly be done because they were closed. The. We wait for 45 min and another 25 min in a line because our name was called. We get to the counter and they say sorry we accidentally called your name your gonna have to wait in line again when we call your name again. So here I am in line yet again writing this because I have so much time to kill. This is by far the worst pharmacy around and I only chose it because it was on the way home from the doctor office I was at.
The pharmacy is terrible. I think I have dealt with every person over the past month on the pharmacy staff and there has been only one that was somewhat helpful.
Store service good, pharmacy service is not.
Sooooo the employees are not so nice. the pharmacy is AWFUL; every time i go, there’s always one person working the front AND the window.
TERRIBLE customer service at the pharmacy. They were beyond rude. Obviously if a place has this many negative reviews its the truth. Would not visit again. They need to hire more competent people.
This a very clean store/pharmacy with very nice employees. When I began using the Walgreens on the corner of Shed and Airline Dr, the pharmacy, the drive-thru and the store were all open 24/7. Pharmacy wait times were about 45 minutes. This was about 10 years ago. The main reasons I chose Walgreens were the fact that they had a drive thru pharmacy open 24 hours. I wasnt crazy about the 45 minute or more wait time but the 24 hour pharmacy hours made the wait worthwhile. After about a year, I noticed wait times were getting longer and longer. When it became consistently 2 hours, I decided to move my pharmacy business to a new Neighborhood Walmart, which waa about an equal distance from my home. Though the Walmart was open 24 hours, the pharmacy closed at about 8 pm. The wait for my prescriptions was only about 20 minutes, however, which beat the 2 hour or more wait at Walgreens in spades. Before I moved my business from Walgreens, I watched to see if I could figure out why it took 2 hours to get an Rx. They were never short-handed and everyone was working, no one was standing around or ignoring customers. I cant remember ever being forced to wait in line, in fact, rarely were there more than 3 or 4 customers waiting. More often than not, I was the only customer waiting. For 2+ hours. Yet there were always at least 6-8 employees. It seemed that the problem was the system they operated under. They need to overhaul the routine procedures followed for filling prescriptions, in my opinion. And find a way to fill prescriptions more expeditiously because when you walk in, turn in just one Rx to be filled, get told it will be ready in about 2 hours, look around and see that you are the only customer in the pharmacy, my first thought was SAY WHAT?? How can it take 2 hours, theres no one else here!? I realize that they are filling called-in prescriptions and refills and dropped off prescriptions and refills and then walk-ins like me. I realize that when filling controlled substances the process is more complicated, necessitating more steps by more people taken in the process, resulting in triple checking instead of just double checking each prescription for accuracy. I recognize that those checks and balances are necessary to help the pharmacist not make mistakes and to keep everyone honest, so to speak. But, 2 HOURS??? I think not. I left Walgreens about 3 years ago. Shortly thereafter, I saw where they are no longer keeping the pharmacy open 24 hours. Is that because they lost enough pharmacy business that it was no longer cost effective to stay open 24 hours?? Or, are they no longer open 24 hours, so they lost business because of the 2 hour wait time? I just dont know. What I do know is that if Walgreens ever figures out a system that works quicker and more effectively than the current 2 hour wait AND if they revert back to the 24/7 pharmacy hours, I would be willing to entertain the possibility of returning my prescription business to Walgreens. Time will tell, i suppose. I do know many, many people personally who also moved their prescriptions to other pharmacies, which really is a shame since they are clean, convenient and courteous otherwise. So, good luck to Walgreens!!Another issue for me is the fact that, hand in hand with the long wait times to pick up my meds came long hold times when needing to speak to the pharmacy! Most of the time, I just hung up after a couple of hours. I needed to speak with the pharmacist and since they were still a 24 hour pharmacy, i decided to wait until about 2 am and call then because I knew that there would be fewer people calling the pharmacy at that hour. Dont know if there were fewer callers but i do know that I was on hold, from 2 till after 4 am, and finally had to hang up so i could get some sleep! An odd thing about all the long times I spent on HOLD, including the middle of the night, I always got the exact same recording, there was always one caller ahead of me and my call was always going to be answered in the order in which it was received.
Last refill here. Been using Walgreens for over 10 years but this particular branch has ruined me ever coming back. The pharmacy personnel are rude. If they actually have your prescription and dont have to wait 2 or 3 days for another shipment, chances are that they will screw up the billing or short you on the number
Called to inquire about toys that I know the store was getting, and may have gotten early. I spoke with a “tranesha”, who said she was the manager. She refused to run a WIC number for me (unsure as to why she wouldn’t, except for laziness) and stated that the store only had certain toys. I know that was a lie, because I saw many different toys in the store, earlier in the week. Either way, I do not recommend this store. I’ve had many horrible experiences here and the last time, was just flat out laziness. All I wanted was her to run a WIC #. Last time I checked, that wasn’t that hard to do, nor time consuming.
Literally had to wait on the phone for hours even when there was an emergency and i needed to get in contract with my mother.
Perscription was called in tuesday. Its Friday morning now and I stopped by to pick up the 2 tablet script. Not ready. Ok so they said they will fill it really quickly while I wait its only 2 pills mind you its 9am they are not busy im the only person in line, there are 5 pharmacy staff memebers lets see how long it takes for 2 pills......................................................................................... 30 minutes later they called me to pick up..............waiting more at the register no one is helping........7 more minutes gone just looking at me finally o just had to raise my voice and ask for help. You decide what review would you give?
Horrible customer service. This place need to be shut down ASAP or get a new management crew.
The I guess manager is a loud seems drunk and or high short red haired lady who at least twice I’ve seen get out of her rides car and startbto cuss loudly at the person in the car also have seen this same person Lean and basically be in the trash can as she smokes outside then come back in and check people out add the fact the pharmacy staff is rude then CVS seems a better option
Walgreens is a friendly family store
? Lost on how no one seems to know what is going on. Had a seriously sick infant and I had to come here three times to get the script filled. I really cant understand the guy at the window either, sorry.
Horrible services this guy African-American so unprofessional so rude. Not any hi how are you or thank you have a nice night . When i was talking to him so rude he was answer. And i ask him if he was having a hurt night or something and he not even respond . I will never going to come back . We going over there with one of our family members sick. So we just want our medications . That last thing you want is a person make your night even worse.
I called in over a hour and a half ago for a refil. They took all my info and when my fiancé went there to get it they said they had no record of me calling it in. I will never use Walgreens again. Yall customer service sucks really bad. And your people are totally unfriendly
Pharmacy is extremely slow. The employees do not work with any type of urgency whatsoever with cars wrapped around the building in the drive thru and people in line almost to the freezer section inside. I was told to come back 2 hours later and mediciations were still not ready.
Bad customer service. Very rude.
Not that bad but the older African-American guy in the pharmacy is super rude and very anti-social! Never greets or smile!
Their pharmacy is consistently the worst. I go because its closest to my house.
There should be a rating system of negative Stars because if there were this Pharmacy would get a negative 5 rating. Its a miracle they are still in business and its even a bigger miracle that whoever the manager is still has a job.
Terrible customer service but almost to always have any I go to get but then again Walgreens can be pricey when dollar store got almost everything going for a dollar lol but yeah
Was on hold for over an hour. Have even been in store. I am sorry to say but it was just a disaster.
Very slow casher and told me I needed to smile. Wont be back.
Horrible costumer service. I waited for my medicine more then I waited at the doctors office. Rude disrespectful workers Im never going there again!
Very much attitude I’m asking a question about my kid medicine and Mr.Tyler was very rude to me
Poor customer service and super long wait...
African guy wanted to charge me medicine I get free with medicaid I got it two months ago now its $15 to get just one
