I have a favorite color of paint which I came to purchase from this store. A young lady who is not the friendliest greeter (really needs a course in customer service) approached me from behind the counter. Geez! Her arrogance & tone was repulsive!I sincerely congratulate the owners on the success of this business. I’m happy she hasn’t caused that many issues. A business can be prosperous due to friendly service, expertise & owner recognition in the community. A business can soar to an even greater prosperity when you have key employees working the front line. I was a customer which came to MAKE A PURCHASE. She found lots of valid reasons why I was not going to make a purchase here. She was fresh out of solutions to ensure there was going to be a product purchase here.CUSTOMER SERVICE LESSON:Find solutions to product or service problems. Skip the rude, loud, obnoxious attitude & explain the best solution to solve the problem.*Upon calling another paint specialist who works for the exact same company, he slowed down(used his brain) & thought of an easy solution to the problem. Night & day difference: One specialist was so full of arrogance that it prevented an adjustment in their thinking-not attracting business. The other specialist was kind & not so uptight-attracting business. His expertise came up with the simplest of solutions: “...go behind the wall plate & get me a quarter sized sample of your paint color & I’ll try to help you get a match.”A person can be the greatest expert in the field but if he(she in this case) can’t communicate with kindness or successfully problem solve, then use of that expertise is limited.
You cant beat the service there. Great people that go above and beyond to help you. High quality products that are priced well. This is the only place I will buy paint!
Wow! I know nothing about paint, and when I walked into Harrison, I was totally overwhelmed, but the people there made me feel at ease. They were super knowledgeable and helpful. The dude even remembered my name from when I called before going up there. They had everything I needed, and even loaded it up in my car. I have nothjng bad to say about my experience!
