One of the last vestiges of the old neighborhood. Great place to get bulk spices and an eclectic variety of food and cooking supplies you cant get many places. Some of the staff can quiet and occasionally reserved but friendly and helpful when you talk to them. One of my favorite places in the hood.
Nice stuff!
Great Place to find things not available elsewhere. Great helpful shop owner who will do his best to help you find what you are looking for. Syrian store owned by a Lebanese family.
Open just 3 hours daily on week days, usually 2-5, I see this as a good source of hard to get food items from The Levant: Rose Water, Orange Blossom Water, Pomegranate Molasses, Aleppo and smoked Aleppo peppers. 2 kinds of Harissa, bunches of different tahini, fresh figs, French Feta Cheese and, dig this: I scored a 93oz jug of cold pressed, unfiltered, Lebanese EVOO for $37.00 and change.
Mother, grandmother, used to take me here when I was a little kid to get groceries our cousins.syrians are wonderful people❤
This place was staffed by two nice gentlemen. The store is a little disorderly and hard to navigate, but they have a good selection of middle-eastern products. I asked for dried yoghurt and preserved lemons and they helped me find what I need (no dried yoghurt though). Fair prices.
Not the easiest to find, but a wide variety of items in the store, and the storekeepers were very friendly and helpful.
👍 good
Anyone know if they had molokhia??
The real deal - thankfully no designer point of sale displays here.
A south end must see
