Their bagels are good. That said, my order from them through Grubhub was wrong, so I’ve since tried walking there. Both times, they were locked and closed well before the 2 pm closing time.
Waited literally one hour (no exaggeration) for two bagel sandwiches in a shop full of customers waiting for their own orders. Guy behind counter chatted and flirted with customers while completed, bagged orders from two hardworking ladies piled up in the counter and shelves behind him. All he needed to do was call out who they were for and hand them out. Too hard for the charismatic loser
Good coffee, lots of flavors. Good sandwiches. Not the best bagels in town, but I like a chewy crust. Their bagels make great sandwiches.
BBCo is so good! The staff are super friendly, and their food is delicious. Their bagel sandwiches are always served hot with fresh ingredients and bagels that are the perfect balance between a crunchy outside and soft inside.
I would not recommend. The first time I went the first bagel was good but do not go here when they are busy. Ordered at 9:45 on a Saturday morning and didn’t get my 2 bagels until 10:50. They came out so sloppy and gross as well. Very inconsistent
Not the best bagels, and not all of the staff is wearing their masks, and they serve patrons without masks. Definitely a no go. I almost walked out, but decided to get a bagel anyway. The bagels are OK. They also stuck it in the toaster when thats not what I ordered. Toasting is not a default, not sure what they were thinking. 🤔
Smelled amazing as soon as i walked through the door and had quite the variety of Bagels, coffee, and sandwiches!
Theyre not the most consistent place but Ive always enjoyed what Ive gotten there. They rock the bagel sandwiches and have a bunch of tasty iced coffees to try. The Banana Hazelnut was fantastic and an interesting morning treat of a coffee.
Great variety of good bagels. Egg sandwiches are scrambles they cook in the microwave but oddly decent! Great fix the morning after a night out. Be prepared for a line no matter when you go.
Decent coffee with a variety of fun flavors. Lots of bagel options here but the bagels arent the greatest. Maybe Im spoiled by the bagels Ive had in NY. I give a little extra on score here because the staff is very friendly and treats me well as I frequent the store with my dog. I think treating your customers kindly goes a long way.
Avoid this place at all cost. There is one male worker there who is rude and sexist. All he does is yell and complain making it a very uncomfortable experience.Aside from that lunatic the wait is incredibly long. When I went with my boyfriend we ordered an iced coffee and two bagel sandwiches which took about 45 minutes.Once we got the food we realized the eggs had been microwaved so all that wait for food that wasn’t fresh.Seriously don’t go. The guy that’s loud is reason enough not to. (Loser)
Awful place. The service was incredibly slow they blatantly ignored customers walking in, and they left out a sandwich on my order.
Delicious bagels in Boston. Not many places have good bagels in the Boston area. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome. They take all the items you want like a small omelette and microwave it then throw it on the bagel. Coffee is pretty good also.
Adam is the most helpful catering partner weve ever had for WeWork Boston. He answers our calls/emails in a timely manner and is so responsive when we need things last minute. Bagels and cream cheese are always fresh and tasty.
Went here on a busy Sunday morning and even though there was a significant line it moved very quickly. The bagels were fantastic! I had the everything with cream cheese and lox, perfectly crispy exterior crust and tender insides. Also, not the size of your head which is a plus these days. Also, its hard to find a bagel place that does bagels right so that they dont need to be toasted but this is definitely it.
Ordered some breakfast for delivery and the estimated arrival time was listed as 25-35 minutes. That was an hour and a half ago. Still no breakfast and when you try to call the restaurant the phone rings straight to voicemail. There is no way of contacting them to see what the problem is which is extremely frustrating.
Cool local place. If they ran out of blueberry bagels, they will throw a fresh batch for you in the oven. I wish there were 2 lines though, as quick orders get stuck behind complex single orders.
Love their bagels and was always treated well by all the employees. Happy to recommend this bagels shop, and as a regular I can tell that I have always got what I came here for.
Good bagel sandwich. Wish the bagel was more toasted though.
I hate to leave this low of a review, butI went in this morning to get a dozen and two sandwiches. Despite the fact that there was only three customers in the place, they could not handle it. The employees, while nice, were not paying attention to what they were doing. Everyone seemed more concerned with what the other people were doing than paying attention to the customer they were serving. This was confirmed when I got home, opened the dozen and discovered it was not at all what I ordered. Not even close. The bagels are fine. Nothing to write home about. Certainly nothing to offset the truly terrible service.
Ive been in line for 30 minutes. Only reason I havent left is that they already took my order. Bagels better be worth it.
I love this place. Im shocked to see the rating is not 5 stars. Ive been a customer here for longer than I can remember. Sometimes the bagel gets lost in the cream cheese, which is just the way I like it.
The loud rude toxic masculine cashier who is very loud and rude to the other staff deserves to just cut bagels and not talk at all. I literally turn around from going there when I see him in the window. The bagels are not worth how slow he is and how rude and not funny he is even to the customers
3 employees had no idea how to process ordered efficiently and messed up two people’s orders in front of me in line. Bagel was alright. More like a Dunkin’ Donuts bagel than s true “New York Style” bagel. Overall it took me 45 minutes on a Sunday at noon to get a mediocre bagel at a bit of a price tag. Would have been better with DD across the street...
Ive been here maybe 15 times since Ive lived in Southie and finally feel the need to leave a review. Decent coffee, good bagel sandwiches. They microwave the scrambles which turned me off at first but its actually pretty good. Bagels themselves are okay, nothing great. It would be four stars if it werent for the truly atrocious service. Dont bother ordering ahead, you will wait longer for your order sitting around than you would in line. Their system of taking/ making orders is incredibly inefficient and their employees are rude (or at the very least apathetic, but this latest time the cashier was straight up rude to everyone asking if their orders were ready). The have 4-5 people working the line at all times and get an order out once every 3-5 minutes, if that. As I write this it is has been a full hour since I placed my order through Grubhub and I am still waiting. Fix your call ahead ordering system.
Great bagels but extremely slow service. If you want a half dozen bagels you have to wait in a half hour plus line while everyone else gets egg sandwiches, etc. I have waited while there are employees standing around with nothing to do at the cash register/coffee area but they wont put six bagels in a bag and sell them to me. I want to like this place but every time I leave I say I wont go back because of the slow service.
Excellent bagels, cream cheese, and iced coffee. You can order online and pickup there to avoid the line in store. Lots of flavor options for the coffee.
Good bagels, but way too slow service. While I am glad there are finally good bagels in South Boston, it is too bad that they cant figure out a way to have a separate line for people who just want to get a dozen bagels and go. I would go much more often if the service was at all adequate. They are also rude when you point this out to them. They could do a lot more business if they figured it out, but it seems they dont really care about the customers who come just to get a bagel without all the fancy fixins that take them a long time to prepare. So while the product is good, the service nixes that.
The Irish Albanian guy makes this southie bagel shop worth a visit 🍀👍🏼
Good bagels and great coffee selection. 2 stars because of the half hour wait for bagel 🥪 that where not made correctly.
Great Sandwich and friendly nice people behind the counterDo yourself a favor and enjoy a Big Papi....Awesome!
Great place I give the 10 star
All I got to say is its about time a real bagel shop comes to South Boston. Not only do they have the best bagels in Southie but in all of Boston. Baked fresh daily, they have at least 10 different types of bagels to go along with a dozen different cream cheeses. These include seasonal cream cheeses like Pumpkin and Apple Cinnamon and they even have Buffalo Cream Cheese! This is just the tip of the iceberg though because they also have amazing bagel sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. And Im not just talking Sausage & Cheese. They have The Nova which has Lox, The Fire Alarm which includes choice of meat, egg, and jalapeno cream cheese, and my favorite The Corned Beef Stacker. Additionally, if you dont like the sandwiches on the menu, you can make your own with a ton of different options. And dont forget to top your visit off with one of their flavored iced coffees which they also constantly update as well and brew fresh. From Mint Chocolate Chip to Twix, there is an option for everyone. The only bad thing about this place is it is EXTREMELY slow, whether its busy or not.
Very fresh bagels with awesome cream cheese
Nice people ! I wish I could have bought one of every few min
They microwave the eggs for an egg sandwich. It would be much better if they had a grill and made the eggs in the many different styles.
Great Bagel sandwiches and a really big menu, so theres something for everyone. Long lines on the weekend, but worth the wait.
Ill preface my experience today with this... Ive lived in Southie for a few years now and have been going to BBC somewhat consistently for that span. Great coffee, fresh bagels. But Ive always had troubles with ordering the morning boost from the menu. For those of you who dont know, the morning boost consists of; peanut butter, banana slices and honey. Simple and delicious arrangement a top a bagel of your choice (I tend to go with cin rais or french toast). . Now, every time I order one, they cant for whatever reason make it. Ive heard it all from but today got me to hop on my computer and write this.We dont have that station set up on the weekend. Confused, I asked for clarification. I was told that for that sandwich it requires a different station. Mind you, BBC makes large, complex sandwiches (good egg sandwiches) but youre meaning to tell me it cant accommodate a station to slab peanut butter, throw a few banana slices and drizzle some honey on a bagel? I was dumbfounded.Im not going to sit here and say oh thats it because the fact of the matter is, I enjoy their coffee, their breakfast sandwiches are filling and tasty and the employees are pleasant. Id just like to see something change from an operational standpoint.
Good bagels and good coffee withA pleasant staff

Good bagels, pretty mediocre breakfast sandwiches..
I love their food.
Long wait time, mediocre service and worse bagels. Not very fresh.
Bagels are ok - everything takes FOREVER
Perfectly fine bagels and good for a quick lunch.
Took over an hour, and then they forgot to make half of the order.
Great quality bagels, but terrible service and lethargic staff.
Long story short, the service was slow and the bagels were mediocre. Youre probably better off going somewhere else.
One of the best bagels and coffee in boston.
Love the different varietie of bagels
Great bagels and plenty of options.
Excellent bagels and cream cheeses
Excellent bagels. Service was a bit slow and there is no parking.
Very good 👍
Bagels were good but the slowest service ever. No sense of urgency while their is a long line.
Fakiest chicken Ive eaten in a long time.
Very good bagels but its unclear where one is supposed to wait after ordering so its very confusing actually getting food.
Good iced coffee & bagel sandwiches
Fantastic. Good service
Slow, petulant staff, and a loud, overbearing cashier took all the joy out of my overpriced, mediocre bagel.
Hot, fresh bagels and good coffee
Theres always a line out the door on the weekends so they must be doing something right!
