The perfect start to our Boston adventures started here! Fast, efficient and delicious! It is in a cute little location as well!
Delicious local bagels, creative flavors and very quick/friendly service. The pumpkin cider bagel is phenomenal, I highly recommend!
High quality bagels, easily the best Ive tried in Boston. Also the most expensive bagels Ive ever seen, but cheaper than driving to New York! The cheddar bagel & the herb bagel are both blasphemous and delicious. The everything bagel could be improved and theres no pumpernickel. They seem to be freshly baked in small batches throughout the day
A bit on the expensive side, but really high quality fresh bagels. Nice and simple menu, and friendly staff!
Stopped here for a quick bite before they closed. honestly, i wasnt impressed. i think i was expecting the best lox bagel sandwich i ever had in boston, but what i got was not by a long shot. the bagel was good. fresh. i got the herb salt bagel which i would probably recommend. service was very slow and i was the only customer, yet the cashier couldnt hide how irritated she was that i was asking her a couple of questions about the food. i asked for my bagel to be toasted, and then when i recieved my bagel.... it wasnt toasted at all. a little warm, but definitely not toasted. i guess they were running out of cream cheese because there was barely any in the sandwich. but the worst part was the smoked salmon! i was expecting a classic lox sandwich, but they had messy, chopped, cooked salmon instead. what a let down. at least it was fresh i guess. i ate half of it and threw the rest away. all in all i would highly reccomend black sheep bagel cafe for a more authentic lox bagel, ive tried theres and its fantastic and fresh, unlike levend bagelry. that being said they clearly make fresh bagels in a covenient location so i wouldnt write this place off completely, i just wouldnt reccomend you tried their smoked salmon bagel sandwich... because its literally not smoked salmon. this is probably a great place to pick up bagels so long as you remember to tell the staff to extra-toast them.
Bagels are really good, staff not so much
Great place!!!Food is goodVery clean, the employees are very respectful!!!!
Got the classic bagel on an everything bagel on a Friday morning. There was no line. Tasted great and the service was fast. Sat outside to eat, would recommend as the public market area is cute to walk around!
Beware of sour/spoiled cream cheese on 6/24
My husband and I went to the Boston Public Market today and saw a long line for the bagels at Levend Bagelry. We decided to see what all of the fuss was about and we were NOT disappointed. My husband said it was the best everything bagel he’s ever had and I can confidently say that my salt flakes bagel was the best I’ve had in Boston. We HIGHLY recommend!
Loved it!
One of my favorite bagel places downtown. Its tucked away in the left side of Boston Public Market.Im not sure if Im just lucky, but every time I go (around 8:30), their bagels are nice and warm as if they just came out of the oven. My favorites are the cheddar, and herb cheddar. Theyll toast it for you if you want. They put on the correct amount of cream cheese, unlike some other unnamed places that glob and slather it on like its going to expire in 20 minutes. Levend spreads a nice layer that gives you plenty of cream cheese to compliment the bagel, without talking the bagel over completely.Their farm to bagel is one of my favorite lunches. A savory bagel with a layer of sweet potato, a tart layer of apple, some greens and a thick layer of cream cheese to pull everything together. All of these different flavors (savory, sweet, and tart) compliment each other well. For breakfast, they are on the expensive side, but not that much more expensive than other places, where youre just going to get a worse bagel anyways.
I just got two bagels here and they really hit the spot - Thank you!!10/10 - would go again
Top notch service and product. Great staff very attentive and professional. Stop by and watch them step by step make bagels.
Pretty good place for bagels. Vegetarian so wasnt any meat but the bagels were good and the sandwiches they made them with were good. Good stop for breakfast in the public market.
The everything bagel I had hear was delicious. For plant-based people/ vegans you can do the Happy Cow with their house made seitan (which is awesome) and hummus. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I would have loved another dairy-free vegan spread option other than hummus.
Very tasty bagel, has the exact consistency I look for in regards to the crunch on the outside and the chew inside. I got the herb cheddar with scallion cream cheese for a reasonable price (3.75), especially considering their BPM location. I have been dreaming of coming back for more- I wont last too much longer. Favorite bagel in Boston, and I live next to Kupels. Excellent!
Every week they run out of Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, say it’s not popular. Overall, one of the better bagel places, but margins seem more important than customers wants and needs.
Great authentic bagels. Could only be improved with a rye or pumpernickel option!
Great bagels. Not a huge fan of the cream cheese we got however. Its almost more like a ricotta rather than traditional cream cheese.
Good pizza bagels BUT they are severely overpriced ($7 and up) and 5 times out of 10, there is a hair on my pizza bagel. I had to stop going there. The workers should really wear hairnets and the men should cover their beards.
Best bagels I have ever had. Absolutely fantastic. Well worth the trip.
At last real bagels are available downtown. These are at the NY level and by far the best Ive seen in our area. Most Boston bagels have a soft exterior and spongey breadlike interior. Not so at Levend. These are real boiled bagels with chewy interior, and in many flavors. Im glad they are in the Boston Public Market; it gives me a reason to go there and check out the vibes and the other merchants.
Love it, just moved to Boston I was craving for a bagel and came across this
I have been eating bagels for over 60 years. I am a Jew from NY. These are the best bagels I can remember tasting. Way better than OMG, different from Iggys, or the place in Lynn, Much chewier, this is the real thing. At $2.41 almost did not buy it. But did and ate it hot out of the oven, Then bought another. Not cheap. Duh! But if you want a real bagel. This is the real deal. Life is too short not to have a great bagel.
Plus: tasteSuggestion: harvest bagel pizza
Amazing bagels!! Soft, chewy, and buttery goodness. The best bagels in Boston!
Probably the best bagels in all of New England.
Always friendly and speedy service, and great bagels, too!
Just moved from NYC. This is the best bagel in the area.
Such great bagels, super friendly staff
Bagels are good. Price is ok.
Get the rise and shine. Do it.
Get siracha cream cheese
Simply great! I love the happy cow bagel. Its a shame that we dont have this bagelry in Austria too.
