The host was really courteous and knowledgeable about his wines. He offered an excellent proposal. Beautiful ambiance. Not too expensive. They have a decent wine selection. I was not a wine drinker before, but when I tried one of their wine kinds, the Chardonnay, it tasted great. I adore it! I adore it!

Ive had a good time so far. If you enjoy liquor or wines as much as I do, this is the spot for you. They have a wide selection of beers, wines, and other beverages that are reasonably priced and well worth the money. Both of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable about their jobs. Its the ideal location for all wine connoisseurs. It comes highly recommended.

Love this place! This is our local wine store and we go most every week to see the new things. They do weekly wine tasting events (before corona at least) and are very knowledgeable about the wines they sell. Fair prices and great selection.

Best selection in town, and free delivery! The place is always charmingly decorated, and theres an absolutely precious cat that lives at the store.

One of the few store on Newbury that has a local spirit, where you can meet the owner and chat about wines for 1, 5 or 20 minutes! They also have affordable special deal, and of course higher quality wines. Their beer selection is relatively small but of high quality as well. Just love it!

Though a small shop, the carefully curated selection of wine, spirits, and beer covers a lot of ground. Though theres plenty of cool, eclectic bottles, the store doesnt shy away from also carrying staples. The staff is very laid back yet extremely knowledgeable and knows the inventory inside-out. Its a very cool experience to shop here because it feels like a fusion of a boutique wine shop and a neighborhood package store--of quality, convenience, and friendliness.They also have a cat named Sofia, who sleeps in the middle of a wine rack, and judges you based on what you buy.

This is my go to wine store! They are so knowledgeable and kind. If you tell them a style or flavor or region youre looking for-- they will guide you around the store and show you all your options at various price points.

Excellent selection of specialty beers and wines. Prices are better than I would have expected at a Newbury street boutique wine store (its cheaper than any area Bodega and some other local wine stores in less fancy locations). Their shop cat Sofia is adorable too!

Im not from the area but this store is fantastic. I went to Trader Joes and they didnt carry any wine, so I came here. This place is located very close by the mall, hotels and convention center. Dont spend $40 a bottle at Eataly, when you can come here and save some money. The staff is very helpful and they actually walk around the store asking customers if they need any help finding anything. Wow! Customer service! I love it.The front of the store has some great wines where you can mix and math 2 bottles for $12. I was able to grab a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and a Yugoslavian Pinot Grigio. Im not sure Ive had wine from Yugoslavia but Im about to find out. Theres also a $2 Bin of cold beer. Its great if your looking for a few beers.So if you need some spirits in your hotel room, this is the place to stock up. You wont pay a lot here. Stop on in and stock up your hotel room. Cheers!

I found someone immediately to answer a question about what to get. However, my total lack of information combined with his inability to give his preference wasnt altogether helpful. This one is more fruity and this one is more dry is meaningless to a non-drinker. Once I grabbed a couple of items, someone walked over to the empty checkout counter, heard the phone ring, answered it, and then sat done for a phone conversation. He only motioned to a co-worker after a bit of back and forth on how much white wine he could set aside for the caller. About a case, he mentioned several times and it made me wonder the person on the other end of the line was not quite understanding that cause the conversation to persist.

I love the selection at this easy-to-browse store. Service here has always been top-notch - I think the fact that there are usually at least two people working here really makes for smooth transactions and recommendations. Great deals on a wide variety of wines, and the craft beer selection is amazing. That said, this place could suck, and Id still shop here, cause they have a store cat.

Great selection of wine, really friendly service, and extremely reasonable prices. We called ahead to see if a specific bottle was available, they found it, and when we arrived, showed us right to it on the racks.

Dennis did a great job selecting and wrappong 6 gift bottles with very little leadtime.
