Absolutely amazing beer shop! They put together a package of beers according to the taste of my soon to be brother-in-law for Christmas! My fiancé and I live far away and we’re unable to spend time together for Christmas unfortunately. Thankfully, it was a great present and he’s enjoying the selection! Thank you!!!

Super friendly staff and an amazing selection of craft beer (from all round the US and an aisle of craft beers from the rest of the world) make this possibly the best place in central Boston to pick up the worlds best beers. Theres plenty of fridges to buy cold, or theres a few aisles for the rest. Theres also a selection of wines too. Well worth a visit, especially before or after the baseball.

As out of towners, we wanted to find a place with a variety of beer from Mass and the New England area. The woman at the counter offered some great recommendations and had a variety of choices.

While its a smaller shop than most Craft Beer Cellars, they still have a great selection and the staff are always happy to help you find what youre looking for.

While I havent actually bought anything from here, I just love coming in and checking things out. There are SO many craft, rare, and unique beers and ciders in this place. I could quite literally spend hours in here checking each beer out.To be fair, I could also spend $100s here quite easily... This place is not cheap, but with good reason, as I assume you cant find 60% of their selection anywhere else.Come here if youre looking for something new and interesting. And dont mind spending a few dollars at the same time...

Great place. Im more of a cider person, and they have quite a large selection of American ciders and even a bunch of imported ones (French and Belgian, no Spanish unfortunately). The owner is atbthe counter and was extremely willing to help.

Never had anything but a great experience here. Beer selection is great and well organized. They update the stock frequently so Im always excited to go back. Prices are reasonable. This is one of my favorite places in Boston to purchase beer. The selection is outstanding and there is something for everyone. I purchased five different craft beers and it cost less than twenty dollars. Considering its location, this is a feat in and of itself. Id definitely return.

Come for the beer, stay for the staff. All are laid back and down to earth. Owners are good people who are more than happy to guide you through your beer/wine/liquor journey. Dog friendly so whats not to like.

Make your own six-pack with some of the finest beers in the States and abroad. Being able to come in and pick up a can or two really sets this store apart from most other liquor stores. The prices are fair, the owners are friendly. Cant ask for much more in a local beer shop.

The best thing about CBC is that they allow you to grab singles of beers. If I want to buy something, I dont have to commit to a whole 4 or 6 pack. Big selection of craft beers and a tiny section of locally made booze. Worth checking out.

I was amazed at the selection and the service. It’s a big plus to be able to pick out your own 6pack-holders at the ready. The first time I went there, I must have browsed around for a good 20 minutes before making my choices. Lots of stuff I’ve never found in Boston,and a few old favorites like Pilsner Urquel and Dogfish Head. So many places won’t let you break up 6 or 4packs.I wish I lived closer.

Good selection of liquors. While waiting in the line, I was passed over in favor of a black customer by the redhead cashier (maybe the owner) who where bounding together over that fact that they dont like Russians. Borderline rude and very revealing of the latent racism of the customer and the cashier.

They were more interested In trying to see If I was shoplifting than helping me look for a beer. Glad I know my stuff, but this location has beers that total wine (everett location) do not carry. Def worth 5 stars but you know... Shoplifters...update: If your a person of color be very careful coming to this location. They will not help you, but just watch you and follow you around the store making sure you wont steal. Ive spent so much money and yanna keeps following me around and the manager does the same.
