The inventory was depleted. I could find zero of four items I had marked on the website or catalogue. I expected a Seaport Bean store to have two floors if they were going to build at all. If you are huge, or otherwise never have trouble buying clothes off the rack, maybe you can go to this store and leave happy. I should have planned ahead so I could rely only on delivery rather than going to shop there (sad story but that’s reality now)

Outstanding store filled with all of your favorite L.L. Bean items at clearance/closeout prices. Choose from an aspiring range of outdoor gear, footwear, camping items, and hunting/fishing equipment. Firearms and ammunition are also available.The sheer size of the store is overwhelming, but friendly staff are on hand to assist with finding exactly what one is looking for.The store also features wildlife exhibits, plus a cafe, restaurant, and archery range. The restaurant was closed, unfortunately, but hopefully I will have a chance to sample the cuisine on a future visit.All told my L.L. Bean experience exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be back for more 👍🏻

Would not return my boots. I wore them a handful (4-7) of times (granted out in the rain/snow) and they just werent for me. The service rep told me that because the store cant resell them they fall under the category of excessive wear and tear and cant be returned.I stepped out of the store and looked up LL Beans return policy to make sure I wasnt crazy:If you are not 100% satisfied with one of our products, you may return it within one year of purchase for a refund.There are a few exceptions to that including excessive wear and tear.So back in I went to make sure I didnt misunderstand something, and the service rep told me the same thing. Unless you only wear boots indoors only a couple times they are bound to get a bit dirty/scuffed. I cannot fathom how anyone would consider that excessive.Included are photos of the boots - I didnt clean them before attempting to return them so the soles are a bit dirty.Follow-up:I called the LL Bean number and the phone rep told me the store was off-base in their resale criterion and that the boots should be returnable. Now I am mailing them back.The store gets an extra star because the in-store rep, despite being totally unreasonable, was at least nice.

So thankful to have this store in the neighborhood! The very helpful staff saved our day by pumping up the flat tires on our stroller mid walk. Thank you so much! We’ll be back in for some spring purchases in your beautiful store.

Stopped here briefly to make a return. The store itself is lovely, Im a giant LLBean fan and the folks were super helpful.Unfortunately parking is a HUGE bummer in the parking garage. For a 5 minute visit to return a pair of shoes it was $16. The validation parking stickers dont work and other options are not readily available. Id recommend either taking the T, walking here or if you drive find a different location to enable lots of browsing time!

Teeny tiny LL Bean location. I guess its in the seaport so the company can have a presence, but it is not even close to a fully realized LL Bean shopping experience. I used it as a ship to store option for the free shipping. The service was friendly and efficient.

Ive been a long time LL Bean customer and the service at this store for returns is dysfunctional at best. Not only are the employees behind the counter unresponsive, but theyre defensive and will quickly reject your attempts at an honest return with receipt and goods in hand. This aside from the downhill trajectory of LL Beans quality and styling, its no wonder theyre losing footing.

Great staff, I was looking for an exchange and got help choosing the right fit! There was a price difference between now and when I bought the shoes, and they refunded the difference without hesitation!

Let me first start by saying that we are big outdoor enthusiasts and LOVE LL Bean. However, this store has no life. It felt steril in there. They don’t even carry hats! How do you run out of winter hats in an outdoor store during the winter season??? We had planned a day in the city just so we could spend time there and buy some outdoor gear...we were out of there in less than 5 minutes.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Was very empty on a Wednesday morning.This location sits in a nice area for night life. Theyve done a good job displaying more of the lifestyle products rather than being a bonafide outfitter. Fun place to stop regardless!

Despite negative reviews I decided to visit. The store is small but has plenty of inventory. I found the staff helpful. Prices were no more than what I would have paid online. There is something to be said about holding and trying on items that made this a worthwhile visit.

We took an outdoor kayaking adventure course through LL Bean Seaport with Mark and Warren and absolutely loved it! We are beginner kayakers and felt very relaxed as we cruised along the Boston Harbor.

Need a $400 sleep bag or a new $100 flannel shirt? Your in luck! I went in just looking to buy a kayak and some wool socks and walked out looking like a total cliché! Its okay though, these wool socks are keeping my feet real warm while my flannel shines out from under my life jacket. At least I look like I know what I am doing as I paddle down the river.

Left my glasses there I think but would like to confirm before spending 20 minutes driving there. They dont answer phone--Ive tried at least 15 times. Instead phone line kicks you over to llbean to order on line . I explained my issue to llbean on line and asked if they can help me contact store. They cannot.

I always get my winter boots here. They are so warm an cozy. I like the return policy since you have up to a year in case you dont like them anymore or they bothering you somehow. You can either return or exchange which is nice.

Im sure the staff is great, but last spring I wanted to perform an online exchange, and the sales rep lied and told me there was only a 3 month return period. When I double checked and returned, they told me that the shoes were too worn, resizing would take half a season, and they would probably toss and replace the limited time red soles I purchased.I dont like being lied to, so Ill just buy used/elsewhere.

The staff here are wonderful and although its small, theres a nice selection of clothing. My issue is the parking. Do not park in the garages as they dont validate so it will cost you $14 for any amount of time up to an hour, even just to turn around and leave. Meters are hard to find, unless you park far away (which I suggest) and are also pricey, but not $14/hr. I wont come here again unless I can take the T or walk.

This branch is small in comparison to other locations. Neat, and nicely displayed stock, mostly apparel. Fashion forward, rather than outdoor activity focus.

The sales service was underwhelming. I was trying to understand the difference in the various fabric regarding temperature isolation, and I got short and uninteresting remarks. Couldnt be bothered to answer about which products they had in the store.

LLBean is known for great customer service with a generous return policy. It’s what keeps us loyal. For every 10 great purchases, there may be one poor purchase. That one poor purchase gets returned. Not at Seaport. After reading other reviews here, returning items seems to be a recurring problem at LLBean Seaport. Not only are reasonable returns rejected, the cashiers have an unnecessary condescending attitude, almost relishing in their disapproval and rejection of your request. I hope something changes. Hey I just wanted to reach out and say what a great company I think and particularly LL Bean is in particular this store. I had purchased from the store manager a yeti dog bowl I wanted one in seafoam green. That was not in stock but the manager who took care of me ordered one. Somehow it got delivered to the store instead of to my house which is about six blocks away from the store. He personally took the package and deliver it to my house without my requesting. That’s a person that takes a lot of pride in the way they do business and I really appreciate that. I mean this was a $49 purchase and he took the time after he close the store to walk all the way down to my home and deliver the item.When a company has leaders like that that shows me the quality of the company.

New and modern store with very helpful staff located right in the heart of the seaport district. Parking is often a problem here so I would advise seeking other methods.

What a waste of amazing space in Fort Point. Honestly - the 3 stars are just because I love LLB but this store is so bad. There are literally only jackets here and a few sweaters. I went in based on a turtleneck in the window that they didnt even have in stock....

Quality is down, prices are up. I am a fan for over 30 years and enjoyed all my purchases until few years ago. I found a Shawl design, they call it Rogg, but almost all had a distorted leather triangle sawn in the most visible location. When I pointed out the bad work, sales person apologetically collected all and took them off the shelf. I stopped buying shirts as sizes no more correspobd to what they were some years ago. Hope they will re-improve and re-earn trust.

Since L.L.Bean is a New England company its nice to have a brick-and-mortar presence here in Boston. Still, do not think that the selection of goods at this gleaming new Seaport store is anywhere close to what you would find at either the flagship Freeport store or online. Theres a limited array of apparel and goods for children, women and men, including some footwear, here. Want to get a sense of Bean style or sizing? Then this place is worth a browse! However, when I shopped here I had to take note of a few items I liked, and then I went home and got online to purchase them, because the sizes/colors I needed were not available at the store.

I was in earlier about too start shopping and was trying to get help..... DEVON!!!!! she must of worked 83 hours straight because she was very rude!!!!! I said excuse me 4 times at point blank rang so i knew she herd me.... The 4th time she turn to me and says..... WHAT!!!!!!!! I was going to tell her boss but she said she is here boss. L.L.Bean please give her some time off because she ruined my first trip to the store.

L.L. Bean has really high quality products I would suggest it to any looking for a backpack, or outdoors equipment.

This is a small version of what a LL Bean store typically is but you dont have to drive to the burbs or Maine to shop. Theyve done a real good job of bringing in the stuff that youll most likely be looking for, with the store split 50/50 for mens and womens.

@LLBean @LLBean_PRDesign flaw in these boots. Had them 3 years and only wear them in my truck plowing. Pulling them on causes you to catch inside lip. Original style lining goes over rubber. Rejected for a return @LLBeanSeaport . Not happy. For $150 should have lasted longer.
