Great Uniqlo store with two floors of goods. It’s always fun to look around! The staff were very nice and willing to help if necessary.
This store is ridiculous! There’s only one coat left worn by the model and I asked to try it on for 5min. And they said due to policy I can’t do that… So what? Keep it for the model for a warm winter??? Their website is also deleting bad reviews lol…What kind of goods can you get with attitudes like this???
Really cool interior. Friendly staff and greeter. Decent quality clothes at relatively affordable prices.
I would shop at this store on 08/08. A middle-aged Asian/Japanese lady working at the entrance forced/ordered me to wear mask with very serious face and stared at me. I was very uncomfortable with her attitude. I understand the pandemic and understand the policies if it required by Uniqlo. But the ladys attitude was so rude and aggressive. Why not ask me to wear mask with a smile? I would rate this store with one star because of this rude lady.
This store has gone majorly downhill since the pandemic. Despite the store somehow being more crowded than ever, they have limited dressing room capacity and have been forcing everyone into a tight line in a corner upstairs to limit crowding. On top of this, theyve eliminated the cashiers and now make you scan your own purchases. The overworked staff take their stress out on you.
Staff unbelievably rude. Refused to assist me 10 minutes before published closing time when there were still many customers shopping in the store. I was leaving Boston the next morning to somewhere with no Uniqlo stores to return merchandise, staff asked to see my travel ticket to show as proof to let me in. Excuse me but who does he think he is? If I said I was getting divorced the next day so can’t come back to the store to return items, would he ask to see my divorce paperwork then?Staff also has inadequate knowledge with self check out stations. Encountered an error at the station that made me lose my earned Uniqlo voucher, they just shrugged with nonchalance and said “Well, this is still new to us”.
Once again made purchases here. I like the quality of the clothes here and the price. The service is excellent. Nice clothing store.
Quality basics such as cotton t shirts in neutral colors at a good price. Fitting rooms are still closed at the moment.
Professional staff kept up the pace during peak hours on a weekend. Had a great experience!
Got the demon slayer shirts! This store is larger.
Very dirty fitting room
I took a chance on you uniqlo and you failed miserably.I have 2 items that dont fit despite being a larger size than I normally buy and 1 ultra down thats worthless because despite hand washing and following label instructions the down still moved and collected into again areas of the jacket leaving most sections without down. None of which Ive been allowed to return. In the midst of a pandemic uniqlo decided to change their return policy to the original store of purchase. I visited from out of town.I was unsatisfied with the customer service the store manager was very good at interrupting me and only restating the policy over and over again but was not very good at listening or being understanding and certainly was not friendly. She gave me an email address to contact corporate, theyre not taking call. Corporate sent a generic response blah blah blah pandemic may take longer to respond blah blah blah that was several weeks ago, I still havent heard back and I did include my email and phone number. Not to mention when it was clear she was not going to do the return she forgot to return my items to me. I almost left the store without them!Since I rarely shop at uniqlo I wasnt aware of the policy, youd have to know to go online and look for it. And no one mentioned it when I checked out. 30 days return is typical, but many places stipulate 30 days without a receipt, 90 days with a receipt. But returns only at the the original sure of purchase, well thats unusual it should be corporate policy to mention that to every consumer at check out, especially in touristy cities during holidays that draw lots of shoppers otherwise its just sneaky and underhanded.Ill go back to shopping at my favorite stores, theres something to be said for them: I always get treated with respect, I trust them to let me know of policy changes in an open and upfront manner, I know they have quality items and I never have unpleasant experiences there.
An excellent place to buy clothes and suitable prices
Great location! They have all the basics that you need and more. Make sure to download the app to save even more!
Pouring rain outside today. We asked for plastic covers on top of the paper bags, which Uniqlo usually offers on rainy days, and the staff said they are no longer available. On the way back to our car, which is 7 blocks away, this was what happened: one bag totally fell apart and our new clothes dropped on the ground, another bag also soaking wet. At least they could have had other bags to prevent this from happening.
Many colors and sizes available compared to the website. Some items are on sale even cheaper than online sale. The staff were very helpful and supportive.
Not one of the larger stores and therefore feels a bit densely packed and crowded. Still the selection is decent and the staff are efficient to get you what you need and on your way. I will look for a wider range of products in one of the larger stores in another city. Good to have one of these reliable stores around, regardless of the size.
Friendly and helpful staff, loved my experience here!
OPEN ANOTHER REGISTER!!!Who manages this place?
I generally purchase shirts. The Sanderson flowered shirts are 100% cotton and under $15 per shirt is well worth the journey into Boston. I have purchased T-shirts in the past and years later they are in great shape.
Nice staff. efficient service and good products
Good selection of clothing and different sales! The collabs are also amazing. The only issue I had was sizing but it doesnt affect the rating, since sizing is a personal issue. Overall, Uniqlo is amazing and I will definitely be coming back for more stuff (especially those coats! so cute)
At this point, my whole wardrobe is UNIQLO. However, I never lived in a city before Boston that had a physical UNIQLO store. I now see why people appreciate the physical browsing experience. This location on Newbury has a very strong selection, especially for winter clothes. Most of all, the staff is very friendly here and are very helpful with providing help in your browsing experience.
They have good collection of cool graphic T. Sometimes they are on sale for $5.90 and $7.90. Great material for that price. Conveniently located near Hynes convention center.
A well-organized Uniqlo store. I got to speak to the manager Marcus and he was fantastic. The store usually has cool events on-going and great deals. The changing rooms are well-lit and clean. There is always stock on the floor, though dont hesitate on a good sales item because someone might grab it when youre gone!
Japanese artsy and creative casual attire retailer. This specific location usually has the items I am looking for, and is staffed by people who understand customer service. Only drawbacks can be the after work and weekend crowds, and how fast Uniqlo as a whole tries to move old product for new ones.
I quite like this location, I was very excited when Boston finally got a Uniqlo. The staff has been kind and helpful during every visit I have made here. The Heattech line really helps to keep you well insulated in the Boston winters, I bought some for my whole family
Big, splashy, bi-level store, nice inventory, younger hipster crowd, as youd expect. The prices are on the high side, but you can find incredible deals every once in a while (be sure to check the end-aisle displays for past season stuff theyre trying to get rid of!) A nice addition to the funkier end of Newbury Street.
I love uniqlo and this location is pretty big. It’s just so busy and the cashier lines can get so long, I sometimes don’t go if I don’t want to spend time in line. But in general I love all their clothes.
Best location in the area, more space than faniel hall but hands down better that the others
I love Uniqlo! This location is pretty great, nice selection of the new stuff, but not as big as the other stores. Its location on Newbury also makes it super hard to find parking so I only go here during off-peak hours and only because its the closest one to me.
Good store. Good products, but only has plastic bags when running a video behind the counter about protecting the environment. Really?
Variety of collection and well organized store, prices are resonable. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Store location is pretty good.
Great service. Free shipping. This is great! Their deals make it optimal for shopping as a college student.
Beware!!! They will not refund your online order paid with Paypal if you attempt to return in store. Making it wayyy more inconvenient and unlikely to get your money back. No warning whatsoever on their website that they do not accept in store returns paid through Paypal.
Great selection for a quick in and out visit. Nothing compares to the NYC 5th Ave store though
Nice place to get basics for layering. Their Heattech line is especially nice in the winter. Most of their outerwear is pretty basic though.
Reasonably priced clothes, plus free hemming if what youre buying isnt on clearance, otherwise hem is $5. Awesome place!
High fashion from the island nation of Japan. Pretty cool stuff and youll always run into a good find
I ordered an Ultra Warm Down Coat just over a year ago in late November, 2017. I wore the coat for a couple of months last winter and brought it out again in early December for this winter.I began to notice small balls of the fleece stuffing on the sleeves, which are very unsightly, and wondered where they were coming from. Over the last month, this has progressed from small balls of fleece to large clumps of it actually emerging from the coat through small holes in it (see attached photos).I just went to this location and spoke with a sales rep and manager. Their responses were entirely unsatisfactory. I spent $150 dollars for this coat, and within one year it is completely unwearable -- and yet the manager told me that I could only redeem it for $30 of in-store credit. He said there is no way to get anything more, much less a replacement item, which is what is entirely appropriate in this case.I have been a loyal Uniqlo customer for years, as has all of my family. But with these kinds of quality control issues and poor customer service, I have every intention to take all of my business elsewhere to a company that will stand by its products and actually treat customers as they deserve to be treated.
Uniqlo has a decent selection of work basics in fabrics that dont require the dry cleaner. Besides the basics, it doesnt have much of an inventive selection - I just come here for work shirts. It also has a strangely small cash wrap for a busy store and its size.
My new go to for work clothes...Cheap, stylish clothes. Clean store and great customer service.
Various collection. You will get every UNIQLO things here. The shop has 2 floors in clean and elegant style.
Good vines, nice designs and great prices
Love this place
Good collection! Staff is helpful.
You can find a discount section for nice clothes every Tuesday
Great deals on well-made clothes in the heart of Bostons upscale shopping district. Parking in this area (or anywhere in Boston) is a nightmare, but the shopping area is awesome!
Quality is very highly.
Loved it!
Uniqlo had the very most comfortable mens underwear ever to gird my loins. Now I cant buy any other brand.
Even though I didnt buy anything the dressing rooms were nice and the staff were all very gracious. The clothing trends towards fitting skinnier and lankier builds with slim and clean styles. Prices are competitive with other labels and more expensive than outlets like TJmaxx and Marshalls, but also seem of higher quality. I would recommend shopping during a sale.
Awesome! Super warm thermals and great prices too. Highly recommend a visit before heading out into the cold.
Nice quality and price reasonable. ... I use to go to banana Republic and gap. I dont go there any more because the quality getting worse and worse.
Best store! Reasonable price and good quality
Uniqlo keeps on delivering the best quality and style for the price point. The store is a bit smaller than the ones used to, but its okay
Nice UNIQLO AIRism t-shirts – perfect for potlucks
Great place if you need to get reasonably priced clothes:)
Decent selection of clothing at a reasonable price
Great prices, helpful staff. Always a bit cluttered but can be expected based on the traffic.
I think this is the best Newbury in Boston. I bought alot of stuff online and it was delivered to this Uniqlo, the pick up was easy
Love Uniqlo underwear and undershirts. I wish their clothing sizes had tall and slim fit options available.
Clothes are high quality and low price. Staff was helpful
Gteat merchandize and very reasonable price for the upscale clothing.
Great clothes at a great price.
Clean Japanese style clothing, you can be very lucky on sale items!
Nice staff, very spacious store with lots of inventory.
The quality of their clothes varies and can be good for their prices. However, is it the customer service where things fall apart in this particular store. After waiting in a very long slow-moving line, I purchased over $50 worth of clothes on a Saturday and the register I was at happened to crash preventing me from getting a receipt. I was able to check that the charge went through to my credit card company. The store manager, Takuma Koide, told me that that wasnt good enough because that doesnt mean Uniqlo will get the money. I was told Id have to pay him again or leave the store without the clothes. He would call the accounting team and settle the issue ASAP two days later on Monday to ensure any extra charged would be canceled. Monday came along and I heard nothing. I reached back out Monday evening, and it was unclear if anything was done but that hes aware of the issue. Another whole week later (10 days from the original issue), he tells me the refund should be processed. Another month later, I finally get my refund.. 38 whole days after the original issue. Youre welcome for the interest free loan for over a month, Uniqlo. You might think that maybe theres nothing he could have done about this as a store manager because he had to make sure he gets paid and 38 days is a normal amount of time for a store to provide a refund (its not). Maybe the best he could have done was offer a small discount on my next purchase (which he didnt). However, I surprisingly had the same issue at a different store just ten days after this incident where their register also crashed after I paid, except they let me go with over $500 worth of merchandise and a duplicate receipt after I showed them that my credit card company actually received the transaction. There was no hassle for me and it was done within about two minutes. I hope Uniqlo takes that as a lesson and improves their customer service soon. Fifty dollars should a very small amount for a company Uniqlo to deal with, even if it the transaction for some reason did not go through and they ended up losing that. Losing customers is going to cost them a lot more than $50 in the long run.
Awesome fashion..great prices..on Newbury st no less!
Great variety and prices, though their sizes are a bit smaller than usual. For instance, a medium size feels more like a small, and so on.
It looks like a pretty big shop, but its not the best Uniqlo Ive been to. They have really cool rainbow stair though!
Great store. No childrens section though.
Great prices, found what I wanted in a minute.
Great Selection, great quality clothes, great style, great prices
Awesome selection. Great and very helpful staff
Little small with limited stock, otherwise not bad for a UNIQLO
You easily find whatever you need for the winter.
I like the other location better. Upstairs fitting room was closed, deals werent great.
Japanese streetwear fast fashion. Quality mid priced selection
Soft and trustworthy clothes. Good service and nice overall.
Good selection and good sale prices on some items.
One of my favorite cloths stores
Good value / quality clothing
It is a very nice store in a rather busy area.
Best slim-fit clothing available and good, free hemming service with purchase. 6/5
Great staff. Great selections.
A must-go for Asians to buy clothes that fit.
Great store although the layout is kinda weird
Thanks Johnny. Very helpful after a confusing transaction.
Not as good a selection as Uniqlo used to have. Their sizing is catering more to Americans, which makes their clothing too big on me.
Good prices on comfortable clothing for all kinds of weather. Heat tech turtles necks are a must have for New England Winters.
As all the other Uniqlo, nice clothes at an affordable price.
Professional and courteous staff
