I tried the Misugara Frappe and Latte first time. Misugara is a mix of different kind of oats and grains. I really loved the Misugara Frappe and definitely would order it again. It tastes like a healthy drink, reminds me very much of oats! Also, I enjoyed the plain waffle. I only had time for a snack break and these totally worked for me! I will return for more. :)
Ordered a strawberry Ice parfait, which was pretty good, the size was huge which was fitting for the price of $13. like everything about the parfait except the red beans, they didnt really belong in the parfait in my opinion despite liking red beans. If I come back again ill probably try something else thoughGreat service and fairly fast serviceI did feel a bit bad for coming in like 30 minutes before closing and ordering the huge parfait despite that the service was great
Every single thing Ive gotten here is amazing. Usually I never go to the same cafe twice, but I keep returning to this one whenever Im in Boston!I recommend their cold drinks and their shaved ice on hot days shared with 1-2 other people because of how massive it is. Ive never tried their other items, but I bet theyre just as good. The mood is also fantastic, with seating for individuals and small groups, desks and tables everywhere...would be a perfect place to do some work.
Always great. Food always tasty and always what I ordered, no matter how busy. Nice ambience, good place to plug in and do some school work.
The consistent beauty of the food presentation here and the great rich taste, makes it incomprehensible that its not a high end restaurant and not a cafe. Everything here is perfect, delicious food, looks awesome in only the way Asian culture can do. Unbelievable.
Awesome coffee shop with a great selection of desserts, coffee and food! The people working there are always so friendly, and its pretty spacious for studying or doing work.
One of my favourite spot to get a small bite and a drink quickly. Friendly staff and splendid tea lattes - and the sandwiches are rather decent as well~! Oh did I mention that they have desserts? Mmm… and bubble tea too! Why go to starbucks when you have Bene.
Loved this place. Just a stones throw away from Northeastern university and also right off the Symphony T station on the Green line. This place is filled generally with a lot of students and professionals alike. They have a separate space dedicated for work so you can boot up your laptops and get on with your job. The interiors have been very well done with great focus on lighting. I loved the Strawberries and cream waffle that paired very well with my vanilla latte. They have this thing called shaved ice parfaits which is very popular here. It’s for two or more people to share and with the looks of it, you better not try doing it all alone. Overall a wonderful experience.
I really did not like this place. Food was not good and the price was too pricey. I don’t know why people like coming here, but they should definitely try somewhere else.
Very polite staff. Warm vibe inside the place. Recommend for sure.
A bit pricey but good food
Peach bubble tea was awful. Very hard to chew the bubbles and not a good temperature. At first too hot and then too cold.
Some friends and I too a trip to Boston specifically to go to Caffe Bene and were not disappointed. The massive honey toast was a delight and the bubble tea was super refreshing! And the restroom air freshener is a small bowl of coffee grounds! COFFEE GROUNDS!!! What a treat! Will be going back here again for sure.
Showing good photo ! Yes thats why the two stars. The place was hot in 83 degrees and they didnt apologize for no A/C, the staff wasnt friendly at all and as 1st timer there we offered our empty cups back she didnt even say thanks or took it from us but she asked us to put on a counter. My crust was terrible but toppings was really good and light! The chairs and the tables where terribly small, prices are super high maybe thats how its in MA for a CT person!I enjoyed my company and also having a sandwich from outside the place ( they have a big sign no outside food or drinks) .. Go Starbucks next door!
Employees very nice and friendly. Macrons were decent. Lattes were disgusting.
During covid, employees were practing social distance. All employees wearing mask with custom built glass with sliding windows and separate station for pickup. Seating area very comfortable lots of room, people are friendly. I highly recommend this spot. Desserts on point ! Coffee on point ! Its definitely a vibe . Support local business.
Cute ambience, nice coffee. Their homemade lattes are 100% recommended
I usually love Caffe Bene, but I have to talk about how dissapointed I was in the Boston location. Io rdered a Gingerbread Latte- now make note, this isnt cheap its $5.95. What did I get? A not even filled up all the way small cup (think like sellars stall overpriced apple cider at the cornmaze-small) with something that tastes like warm milk. No whip cream, no spices, nothing in it.
Amazing caffé, with a beautifuland rustic look. But just like every other caffé in Boston, the prices are pretty high. However, when in the mood for a cheesecake or a small waffle and a nice cup of hot latte, I lobe going there. Its a great place to sit, study, or just talk with friends.
Loved this place. 3 chocolate mousse and ricotta pistachio were amazingly fresh and savory. Very friendly staff and great interiors. Definitely a great place for a relaxed weekend coffee and breakfast
Good coffee and food
A really good place, good cappuccino coffee, and the dessert, excellent, strawberry chess cake.
Place is packed with students and never got free seating available when people hang around there for several hours at a time. Cheesecake and coffee are ok but Thinking Cup is better.Edit: I came back during the summer and it is haunted. Mango Bingsu was really good and the experience was all around great.
Quick review:Pros:-Great food!- Great atmosphere (mostly for dates/hang out)Detailed review:I would take friends here if we were trying to plan something, and a great place to spend time with special someone (written before pandemic)I havent been here since the pandemic and is not sure if its open, however if the kitchen is still open I would recommend coming here for some of the snacks and drinks!
Just ordered a coffee and sandwich. There was a cockroach on the serving station. I quietly told them about it...they shrugged and killed it.Not even a ‘sorry about that’, much less an offer to refund me after I decided not to take the sandwich I purchased.Other than that the place is great!
Yeah service is good
Highly recommend the honey bread. Its cake like in size and can be a full meal, definitely worth the price. We dined in here in a corner without people and had no issues.
This place is the cats pajamas! Would be a SUPER cute place for a date and anyone that loves matcha like I do should def visit and try one of the various matcha based food and drinks available!
High prices and truly mediocre coffee, at least the wifi was fast.
Very cozy atmosphere, great selection of drinks and the food isnt half bad for the price! Definitely recommended for studying, a nice hang out with a friend and reading!
One of the best spot to enjoye a coffee or a tea and chill.Typical Korean style with k-pop song !👍 Good bubble tea👍 Good grilled cheese👍 Good cookies
Good food, coffe, and desserts.
We ordered bubble tea, a rose berry ice tea, and ice cream; all were delicious with great presentation! The ambience was relaxing, modern, and pretty, and the staff were very polite. This is now one of my favorite cafés!
Did NOT disappoint. Soooo good!
Boba and desserts
Amazing bubble tea!
Great service and great coffee. I love the hazelnut late w/ almond milk.
Nice quiet place if you want to just sit on your laptop and work. I really liked their tea and cake options
Great place for an afternoon bubble tea and refreshing drinks
The mango passion fruit smoothie is delicious!
Great place to work on a laptop while enjoying a variety of drink and food options. Environment is no more crowded or noisy than any other coffee shop in Boston proper. For those times when productivity demands a lot of time and/or flexible hours, it is convenient the cafe is open until midnight.
I love this experience. High quality and nice staff.i will back again. thank you
Food was absolutely delicious! Good coffees and teas. Loved it so much we went back for dessert that evening.
Friendly service. Music is not Restaurant Loud, so its not intruding on conversations, reading or reflection and its pleasant to listen. Food prices are a bit high for the serving sizes. Great location.
Great Coffee...nice help and kind staff! Very kind people.
2019: chocolate truffle - excellent; New York cheesecake - good. Nice place to spend a little time before a concert.2018:Chocolate truffle was excellent as good or better than Final at less than half of the price .
Love the decor. Tried a green tea hot beverage. 1st time having it and I actually liked it.
Great, cozy place. Good coffee, excellent food and treats. And open on holidays!
Bagels tasted bland and were of poor quality. Nice atmosphere. Hard working staff and tea was okay.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Boston. Prices are reasonable and the selection is wide, everything from drip coffee to waffle sandwiches. The aesthetic of the place is very appealing and is ideal for a coffee date. Also, the location makes it a convenient meeting place (close to green line and orange line stops).
Such a surprising little find that was close to our AirBnB. This place was incredible. Had so many Asian options of teas and coffees and food. Was very unique and such a fun place to try.
We love this place! The decor is very interesting. A good study spot. The waffles...oh the waffles. They are unspeakably good. The staff is extremely friendly! Cant say enough about it!
The coffee is excellent and the cafe peaceful. Perfect for a quick morning bite.
Coffee, breakfast, pastries and delicious looking waffles. Had a oat raisin cookies that was tasty. Nice place to relax or work. Cozy.
Seating area is for paid customers only. Public restroom requires permission for paid customers only.
I really like the place overall. The latte is great. The medium roast coffee is pretty good. However, its impossible to get any work done here because the music is too damn loud. Can yall hear me over it? THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD. With my headphones in, and as loud as I can put them without damaging myself, I can clearly hear your music. Its insane. Would be an awesome spot to post up and study if not for the music.
Its nice that its open later than Starbucks. Its great when I am studying and still need coffee. The coffee and pricing is adequate. But Im a Starbucks addict so this place comes secondary in my opinion.
One of my favorite cafes in Boston. I always get a white mocha which is perfect every time and the creme brulee is really good too. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it. Great atmosphere and comfortable seating make it a nice place to come and do work.
Best coffee and sandwiches in Boston. The garlic cheese sandwich in particular was amazing
Great place for breakfast, I just wished they filled the coffee cup all the way up when you order.
This place is serene, elegant and delicious. We visit on Saturday mornings.
Great coffee shop, love the atmosphere. Prices are like in New York City, but what they serve is very good. Can get a little noisy sometimes.
Wonderful interior design for conversation or studying. Theres also some interesting dessert options to complement traditional coffeehouse menu items.
They have many good stuff to eat. The taste of their bread its very tasty. They have also a big room where you can stay all the time that you want.
Great place for getting a quick bite, largely crowded by young individuals due to proximity or rather just a stone throw away, from the Northeastern University. Can be crowded at times and hard to find a sitting spot but a great place for individuals with time constraints.
I was really excited to go to Cafe bene, because all my family has gone there numerous times. When I stepped inside, I was genuinely impressed. Its a nice atmosphere, with plenty of seating. There are endless charging spots so you dont have to worry about low battery :)I got a hot chocolate with whipped cream (of course), and it came in about 3 minutes. Very Nice. It was delicious; not to sweet nor bitter and has the perfect consistency. Pretty pricey, but worth it. If a bit less expensive, I would give 5 stars.Lastly, the most important thing (at least in my case) is the key location!!! Its a 1 minute walk from Symphony Hall. Since I got to perform there during a special event, my family could just wait there during my practices and easily pick me up.I loved this place, and will definitely go back.Go there!!!!
Ive gotten multiple drinks, sandwiches, and desserts at caffè bene and they were all amazing !!! the space is really cozy and nice as well. I wish I had one closer to me!
Mediocre ice cream! It looked so yummy, but the salted caramel flavor was stale and nearly tasteless -- and it was full of ice crystals. I almost didnt mind that it was such a stingy scoop, but I did mind that we laid out $8 for those two disappointing servings.
