If I lived in Boston I would probably be here every single week. The coffee had so much flavor and the selection of baked goods they had was spectacular. Not to mention the breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and paninis they had to offer. To put the cherry on top they also had a bar in the corner for later in the day, and the vibe in this place is like a classy old school feel which they nailed with all decor. This place is so sick and if you dont go here when in Boston youre missing out on the best coffee shop that city has to offer.
There is seating available outside if youd rather enjoy the weather while enjoying your drink/pastry or breakfast sandwich.I loved the inside of this establishment. The decor was pretty cool inside, there was an old bike, old newspaper clippers, old style typewriter etc. There is seating available inside, booths and window seats bar style with outlets under the bar table to charge your electronics. (Very convenient and cool). We had intentions of getting breakfast but I assumed sandwiches were made on the spot instead they were pre-made and sitting under the glass with the other pastries.Staff was friendly and wearing mask. Mask are mandated inside businesses in Boston. We ordered our drinks and received them shortly after and added sugar and cream at the condiment station. The coffee and cappuccino were really good. That stuffed croissant was sooo good. The cream filling inside is sweet and plentiful, it began dripping out the bottom after a few bites.
Fast service, coffee was not the freshest, good tea options, and tons of seating. The fruity pebble croissant that is featured on their yelp is a specialty that they only make on certain days. The young lady didnt know how to tell me that it was basically false advertisement on their end. I was able to try a fruity pebble rice krispy treat but it was dry. Wish they wouldnt have the croissant featured as their specialty as it brings customers in and disappoints.
This is one of my favorite coffee shop in Boston. Located in the Financial District next I the Hilton Hotel, it is not in a heavy trafficked street, if the shop is elsewhere, I am sure it would be packed as the coffee and the interior decoration was the top of its class.I always enjoy coming here during Christmas time and get a cup of nice cappuccino next to the Christmas tree. The service is friendly and fast, and they sure how to make a cup of great coffee.
Delicious (The Breakfast Sandwhich and vanilla latte) and cool vibes
The antique and industrial interior design of this space makes it worth going to alone - but the food was IN-sane! Whoever heard of a red velvet croissant? Or homemade s’mores pop tarts! Bring a new date here to impress them!Only complaint is the google map location shows the hotel entrance, rather than the actual entrance, which is further down the block. Took me a second to figure out where to go!
Coffee and vibes of this place are amazing! Definitely recommend! Is a little pricier but worth it
Great coffee! Ive had the Latte and a mocha and highly recommend both! Service was quick and the baristas were very friendly!
Super comfortable atmosphere with great decor and nice music. Fantastic to have a nice breakfast on a Sunday or just to hang out and work or be creative. You order at the counter, but that doesnt mean that youre less attended to. The staff is super friendly and made sure our breakfast came out perfectly. I highly recommend trying the breakfast sandwich. Its a unique combination of biscuit, bacon, egg, and cheese, which I havent tasted like this anywhere else before. You also want to make sure that you finish your meal with one of their delicious croissants. Special thanks to Antonio who made our visit even more enjoyable and memorable. Well definitely be back to check out what this place has to offer at night!
Im a traveler by heart, eater by stomach and drinker of coffee by none. However, I decided to drink some coffee after hearing a bridesmaid cry about how its not going to be her turn next door most of the night. I tried their Macchiato. I felt like Ive unlocked a part of my life I never knew existed. I feel like Im somewhere between Cloud 9 and the sweet salvation of eternal life. My wife deeply expressed her praise to this little shop for their ability to wow us with their coffee. Furthermore, if youre here on the weekend and you have the grace to try their Birthday Cake Croissant, do it. Youll thank you and understand what true happiness is.
Poor quality and overpriced, especially considering the other great options in the area. The coffee was very acidic and sour, the breakfast sandwich was rubbery and cold in the middle, and the muffin was dry and stale. Would not recommend.
Coffee and service here is top notch! The design is sophisticated, classic, and eclectic, making for a nice intimate date or meeting space with friends/colleagues.I try to take everyone here because the drinks are amazing and the pastries will blow your mind.
I recently moved to Boston from Italy; Aran made me one of the best cappuccino I ever had in the USA.
This coffee shop is a warm and cozy place for reading, working on the laptop, or simply enjoying a hot beverage with friends and family. I ordered a Honeybee Lavendar Latte and a delicious, warm Boston cream croissant. Simply heavenly! Free wifi, spacious seating, and bar to top it off. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect setting this holiday season. Really magical.
Visiting from out of town, the coffee is fantastic! I ordered an iced hazelnut latte with oatmilk and it was so smooth and refreshing. The food is a bit pricey, but it may just seem that way since were not from here. The ingredients were super fresh, and their breakfast sandwich biscuit tasted homemade in the best way possible.
Yeah must stop, visiting from Joliet IL. Avacado toast and roasted turkey sandwich is amazing. Give it a shot.
Breakfast sandwiches were delicious! Love the atmosphere inside. Fast service
Good coffee. Okay breakfast selection. Their parfaits are really tasty. Service was very hit or miss. This place doubles as the breakfast location for the hotel, so the line can get long, fast.
Fantastic coffee shop. Smooth and delicious espresso and coffee drinks. Great location downtown.
New fav coffee shop in Boston! This is a great spot with a serious lounge vibe. Love the oddities and antiques around the space and love how this place feels like it could easily transition day to night (though I think they are operating on limited hours at the moment due to COVID). They also have bathrooms, WiFi, lots of space/nooks, and outlets which makes it a great place to work!
Wasn’t a fan of the sausage and egg sandwich, it just had WAY too much egg. Southwest toast was really nice & refreshing. Good coffee, fast service, & great atmosphere.
This place is located at the Hilton, very disappointing breakfast assortment for such a nice location, poor assortment of bakery items, it is just a quick grab and go place
The environment, atmosphere, food, coffee, all of it was astounding! The breakfast sandwich and the red velvet croissant can’t be beat. I’d eat this way more often if I lived closer.
The croissants here are AMAZING! So fresh and so worth the money. I purchased a Fruity Pebbles + Reese’s Pieces and both had a filling on the inside. The croissants are also MASSIVE! I was only able to finish half a croissant. I definitely enjoyed the fruity pebbles more (mainly because I’m not too much of a fan of peanut butter, but if you love chocolate + peanut better, then definitely try it).I enjoy the ambiance of the place and the decor is on point. A great place to study because the place isn’t loud and the workers there are amazing! Very gentlemen like and also very good looking (just saying). The beverages (referring to the water bottle and cans of sodas) are a bit overpriced though.Other than that, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! If you follow their Instagram, they do fun secret croissants too. Definitely check their Instagram and this place out.P.S.,Great place for a date. ;)
Breakfast sandwich is dry & not worth the price. Coffee is average. There are better options within walking distance.
Went here for breakfast and had the breakfast sandwhich. A great atmosphere, coffee and food were pretty good as well. Definitely will go back
Favorite coffee shop in Boston and Im pretty sure Ive been to all of them.
Great well priced breakfast - connected to the Hilton next door.
I absolutely adore this coffee shop! My workplace is across the street, which can be dangerous, but is truly such a blessing. The workers know my order and are always incredibly friendly. They put time and effort in to making each drink just right. And every single bakery item/ sandwich is delicious (trust me, Ive tried way too many). Highly recommend over the typical starbucks or dunkins that otherwise inhabit this area of town, worth a stop for sure!!
Delicious cold brew coffee and great atmosphere!
Great spot for coffee! Dont sleep on this spot just because its located inside a hotel - the interior is well decorated, cozy feel, great coffee and a wide selection of baked goods and food items
Nice coffee but the fancy croissants look better than they taste and all the premade sandwiches look old with the ingredients wilting
Excellent coffee food and pastries! Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service.
There food is not fresh, it is cold and ready by choosing the available one and they make it worm . I ordered English breakfast sandwich but without bacon, they gave it to me with bacon. Their croissant is not fresh . I ordered red velvet and to heavy cream and not fresh .Big disappointment
Great food. The breakfast sandwich was amazing.
The best place for coffee lovers! This coffee shop has the best and affordable coffee that I needed. Also, the atmosphere here is very relaxing, and the staffs are very accommodating. My overall experience was satisfactory and delightful, and I would like to thank these guys for that. A must-visit coffee shop! Highly recommended!!!
You have to try the red velvet croissant. Its delicious!
Uhhhhhhh! I live in MD and visited boston just for one day. I was super lucky to have tradesman as my breakfast spot. Food---> amazing. Atmosphere and enviroment---> cant be better. Servive ---> very friendly.
Speciality croissants are 🤯Staff is SO nice!Love, love, LOVE it
Sister store of Cafe Amalfi about the same decent coffee.
Awful. Wrong order, rude staff, loud unpleasant atmosphere, and really overpriced.
I was surprised by the coffee here given the choices, the dairy free milk options were underwhelming and my drink basically tasted like hot sweet water.
Very good and special coffee. Can recommended the filter coffee here, they have regular special coffees. Highly recommended!!
Staff was very polite and amiable! Coffee was smooth and strong as opposed to the weak and/burnt brews of most of the big chain companies. Highly recommend for people who like the flavor of coffee and not just the cream/sugar/syrups/mixers.
Disappointing. The place was packed for a Sunday morning, but the selection of baked goods was extremely limited. Settled on a apple cinnamon muffin. It was probably 2 or 3 days old and incredibly stale. It ended up in the trash. The coffee is super strong and no amount of sugar could remove the bitterness. Not impressed.
Great coffee and service terrible scones
Super gorgeous cafe and I had an amazing brownie there.
Great quality food and a really nice place to relax. Very friendly barista as well! Really nice interior and decorations.
Great ambiance and coffee
This place has so much charm. All of the decor is just perfect. Throwback and takes you back to the time of a Tradesmen. Fresh juices, delicious pastries. Sergio was such a wonderful barista, he made us feel welcome and talked to us for a while. Having employees who converse and make us feel comfortable really makes for a much better enjoyable experience.
Nice big lounge with multiple seating. They bring the order to your table which I think is fancy for coffee shops. I visited the place in the evening on a weekday and it was pretty crowded. The ambience was lively and the antique interiors give it a very classy look. I had a very tasty Hazelnut Cappuccino with yummy Chocolate Croissant. Will visit again!
How have I never been here before?! They hosted our work party this past weekend and I loved every part of this place! Seriously, it’s so unique! Cozy atmosphere, beautiful design, staff was impeccable and the food!! The food was out of this world! I can’t wait to come back and try the coffee and pastries. Highly recommended!
Great place for a quick bite.
Absolutely beautiful intimate setting & especially lovely for the holiday season. The staff is polite, pleasant & knowledgeable. The food is absolutely incredible & easily the BEST espresso martini I have ever had. I’m very picky & this place outdid themselves. I seriously cannot wait to come back!
Get there early for the stuffed croissants
FYI... They dont serve coffee after 4PM. 🥺
Pro tip: Flavored croissants dont come out till 10am.Ordered the mocha and the Americano. Not the strongest coffee, but definitely pleasantly drinkable. I usually like to visit coffee shops to buy roasted beans to bring home but they sold bags from another roaster. Croissants were tasty but wished they were warmed.
I really have nothing negative I can say about this place. The food was incredible! The bartenders curated the perfect cocktail for me and they were so friendly. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holiday and it was so so cozy. My husband and I will definitely be back!
The food was INCREDIBLE. My sandwich and soup were amazing. My chai latte was easily the best one Ive ever had. They had their own version of pop tarts. I chose a raspberry one and it was magnificent. Not to mention the staff was incredible friendly!
Wow! The decor, ambiance, and food is remarkable. The thought that was put into this coffee shop & lounge is exceptional. The croissants are amazing and I cant wait to try all the flavors. I also love the sandwiches they are perfect for lunch! 100% recommend coming either for a study session or just to hang out with friends! They also have such cool cocktails.
Great coffee and decor. oh and try their oatmeal raisin cookie!! wow
Its a perfect coffee shop and very consistent.
Amazing atmosphere, food and fantastic service. This place is a treasure and a stellar example of how should a classic diner be.
