My most sincere gratitude for LBG’s support.My best friend for 40 years that I grew up with passed away in earlier this month after a year long battle with cancer. I had the great honor to prepare his urn as his family feel he will be happy in his final resting place prepared by his best friend. His wife already picked out the Urn and it was my mission to have it engraved with the special message. I never would have imagined it would be such a daunting task as the service and cremation only 12 days away and I have to courier it oversea. At first, I reached out to the urn manufacturer about engraving the urn but the manufacturer responded back they will only do a standard 3 lines engravings and will not accommodate any rush order. I then reached out to different engraving companies that can handle large format engravings but no one would take the job, while some simply would not take walk-in. When all hope seemed lost, I reached out to Karen to see if any jewelry engraver can help and if they can do a rush order to accommodate such short timeline. Karen started working on it immediately and arranged the logistics to shorten the transportation time by getting the urn directly to her and she meticulously checked every details. Karen personally oversaw each step and went out of her way to pickup and deliver the engraved urn to me. It was a huge relief for me and I can say my final goodbye to my best friend. It is my only proper way for his sent off as I could not fly oversea to attend his funeral.If it was not Karen, the engravings would not be done and delivered to my best friend’s family in such short timeframe and my best friend will be sealed in a plastic bag. I know that I have added a lot of stress and trouble for Karen, but she still went out of her way to help me to get it done. I am forever grateful for her help and all the support LBG provided.
When I moved to Boston a few years ago, I visited this store to have my watch repaired. Steve cheerfully greeted me as I walked in, examined it and led me back to Yen in the service area who kindly repaired my watch. In exchange for the repair, Steve politely asked for the opportunity to earn my business the next time I’m shopping for a new watch. Impressed by the service and my productive visit, I happily agreed.When that time came, I returned to visit Steve and he created a wonderful customer experience and helped me select the perfect watch! Since then, I’ve made several trips back as Steve has won all my jewelry/watch business. Even though Steve and I have now become personal friends, what I appreciate most about this store, it doesn’t matter which associate I work with, they all treat you with great respect and provide top tier service. Many thanks to Steve, Jack, Yen and the rest of the associates for making my visits so perfect!
I had to get my engagement ring re-set as it did not lay flesh next to a wedding band (ring was set too low, had too much metal around the basket, etc). Yen Do from Lux Bond provided us with the best, white glove service Ive ever experienced. I was very nervous getting my ring completely re-done but Yen walked me and my finace through each step and alleviated all stress for us. She even provided weekly check-ins via texts and speedy follow ups! She transformed a heavy, 6 prong ring into a delicate and beautiful 4 prong masterpiece! The finished product then ended up being EXACTLY what I had always dreamed of. Everything was absolutely perfect and precisely as Yen had laid out. Additionally, she helped us pick out our wedding rings to match beautifully!! She is the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough!! If you are looking to buy an engagement ring/band/or just a timeless piece of jewelry, RUN - dont walk, to Yen at Lux Bond!

Worked with Josh in the past on an engagement ring for my wife but more recently have been working with Laurie in men’s watches. I cannot say enough about the quality of service she provides. Everyone at the store is very professional and courteous but perhaps even more important, they are graciously welcoming-Not pushy or haughty by ANY means whatsoever. Whether I’m just visiting the store to say hello and browse or actually making a purchase, my wife and I have ALWAYS felt appreciated. I would recommend the Boston Boylston St location to anyone. I unfortunately had to move from Boston a few years ago but the experience here is absolutely worth traveling for.
Website clearly states : fully authorized watch laboratory and Swiss trained watchmakers give you the confidence that we are a one stop destination for all your service needs.Stopped in yesterday to see if they could repair my Tag Heuer. Salesman told me they dont do that anymore and would have to send the watch to the Tag factory in Switzerland. Maybe run as much as $800. He did however try to sell me a new watch. Waste of time.
Lux Bond & Green is the best jewelry store in Boston. Although we only reside in Boston for several months out of the year we only go to Lux Bond & Green for all of our jewelry purchases and repairs. Steve Talbot is our go to person for anything jewelry related. If the store doesn’t carry what you are looking for he will find it for you. Steve is definitely an asset to the Boylston St. store and the company. He and all his coworkers are friendly and helpful. Everyone entering the store gets a warm welcome and help when needed. Lux Bond & Green has a great selection of jewelry and home items and you can’t beat the service. I worked with Yen Do on designing a ring for my wife. She was extremely professional throughout the process and kept me apprised as to the progress on the ring. We had Christmas as the deadline and she and her jeweler came in with the finished product ahead of schedule. I couldnt be happier with the service or the finished product. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend Yen and Lux, Bond and Green enough!

I had the best experience thanks to Jack, the manager of Lux Bond & Green. I was having difficulty with a gift card on the website, which led me to come into the store in person. He immediately apologized for any unpleasant experience on the website and took care of us with warmth and kindness. He not only ordered what we were looking to get with our gift card, but went above and beyond by gifting a stuffed animal duck that my son was eyeing while we waited for our order. We will be back as very happy customers in the future!

I recently bought a new Rolex from their Boston location on Boylston. It was a wonderful experience, largely in part because of Stephen Talbot. His depth of knowledge, professionalism, and desire to help me find the right piece was apparent. Most of all, you can tell he is genuinely a really nice and smart person, which ultimataly is the most important thing to me. No pressure and no rush on his end to sell. I will be back to buy more watches along with their large collection of jewelry and luxury items (also planning on having them engrave a jaeger or two), and I will always call to make sure Stephen is there first.
Great place to buy a watch in Boston, Steve was very welcoming and brought out a watch I asked about that was not even on display and it was just featured at a Baselworld 2019. After several times of viewing it I felt very comfortable buying it from this location even though they weren’t the only dealer in townDefinitely will be coming back for future purchases. Hopefully one day could purchase a SS Daytona ceramic from here.

When I wanted to buy a Rolex in Boston as a birthday gift to myself, google threw up LBG so off I trotted to buy from an old established jewelry store, rather than an impersonal experience elsewhere. The selection for women’s Rolex watches wasn’t the best, even then, I liked something and went ahead and purchased it. I was very excited about this store becoming a generational place for purchasing more watches for family members, Herend curious etc. A week after my purchase I decided to wear my watch for the first time, as I traveled back to india. In those 24 hours I felt like I had made a big mistake and had severe remorse over the model I had selected. I immediately sent Peter an email stating that I would be back in February or March and wanted to exchange the watch: he was very understanding and said he would see what they could do. I was under the impression that this would be a breeze. I was back in Boston March 4 and without wasting time I went to LBG to exchange my watch. Peter wasn’t there but I spoke to the manager Jack who said he would talk to the owner, Mr. Green, and get back to me by Monday. They don’t sell used Rolex watches and he was going to see if they could make an exception. When I didn’t hear back I called & now have been told I will be called tomorrow. I just want my agony to end. Honestly, I don’t know why Rolex by Long’s on Newbury didn’t show up the first time I looked - I would obviously have gone there. Most likely that’s where I’m headed to sell my brand new Rolex and get another one that I like.

I was assisted by Yen. A clutz I am, had managed to break the crystal glass of my watch which was deemed unbreakable. She offered options in terms of pricing as well as the working mechanics and makeup of the watch. Without hesitation, I gave her the watch and in no time, it came back good as new. I came back to the jeweler that we originally purchased my beautiful Patek Philippe watch (5+ years ago) to have it repaired after a minor drop. Jack Winer took care of us for our engagement ring. My fiancée wanted a princess cut which is not something they specialize in (they focus on rounds) however we worked with Jack nonetheless because he was patient and was a good listener. He brought in several stones for us to look at and while ultimately we ended up getting the stone online, he was still more than willing to make the setting. The great thing about Lux, Bond & Green is that they make the ring setting in silver at no additional cost before making your final ring in Platinum or Gold. This allows you to see what your custom design will look like and make adjustments with a real ring vs. a computerized CAD image that most jewelers use. This was a huge advantage for us as we had a fairly complex design in mind that needed to be tweaked throughout the process. In the end, the ring came out absolutely perfect. My fiancee and I work near Lux, Bond & Green so we continue to stop in from time to time for complimentary ring cleanings and to say hello to the staff which are all great. I highly recommend coming here if youre looking for an engagement ring, especially a round (they have a great selection of hearts on fire diamonds).

I came in to have the battery in my watch replaced, and it was done in 5 minutes. While I was waiting I spoke to one of the gentlemen there about how I was graduating from college, and they gave me the new battery free of charge.
It took a long long time for my watch repair. Lets hope it lasts a long long time.
