Unfortunately the food was just ok. My food came out ten minutes after everyone had their meals, some of my items were burnt. There were flies around our food. The atmosphere was old school.

This diner was great. The sign outside is so small-if you blink, youll miss it. Once you get inside youre free to sit where you please and the menus are above the bar area. The menu is short and simple and to the point has all the basics. Our server was was okay but she got our order in and out. The food was great, we especially enjoyed the chicken strips. The ambiance is very cozy and mom and popish. Overall, really enjoyed.

Absolutely delicious!!! Its a hole in the wall ma & pop spot worth trying out, the food was well worth it. My fish plate was fresh fish, well seasoned, nicely fried, and only $7.50.

They pretty much have everything you could want for breakfast. Way way better than McDonalds doesnt the road.

Absolutely the atmosphere I was looking for. Very local, multicultural feel. The menu was exactly what you would expect from a local dinner, and the food was excellent. I went simple and got a cheeseburger and fries, but the burger was delicious, and the fries werent greasy. The cost for my entire meal and tip was $12. Id absolutely recommend this place for a comfortable, quick, familiar bite to eat.

First time going and I will not be back! My guests and I waited over an hour and after that hour JUST received utensils. When we asked if our ticket was forgotten about, staff replied they have no idea what happened to our food. We left.

Liberty is absolutely my favorite place in Boston to dine and drink. The food is always amazing, the drinks are generous, and there is a real down-home feel and friendly staff that always makes for comfy atmosphere. Not one complaint.

LOVE IT!Anyone who gives this Diner less than 4 stars is crazy.I have lived .3 miles away from this place for 3 years. I never went because the outside is not appealing. One month ago a group of coworkers were getting breakfast, I didnt ask where I just told them my order. The food they brought back was amazing and as soon as they told me it was from The place across from 1010 Mass Ave., I couldnt believe it. I went inside last week, the place is a very chill and a relaxed atmosphere. The people, friendly. The food, delicious (comfort). I will be back again very soon.

Old fashioned trailer style Diner. Sit at the bar or grab a table. Opens early and closes late. Plenty of breakfast options served all day. Must try the Haddock plate.

I must say they have some very good breakfast is and their lunch menus are good as well especially that meatloaf with mashed potatoes I personally like the eggs and bacon and grits with the melted cheese in it but they have a wide selection of foods and the atmosphere is very nice this homely and laid-back and you feel like youre actually in your own Den just having something to eat with friends. Its worth stopping by to see what I mean you dont have to dress up its very laid-back trust me. My regards to Robert hes a very nice server and has been there for a very long time. This place is amazing! The most local dive you will ever enter. Its the type of place to get a bud light, a 5 dollar breakfast, and then get into a well-meaning argument with a regular. Dont be scared by the exterior, their food isnt too bad!

This place was social the food was good. The environment was a little sketchy. The staff wasnt tentative we had to walk over to the bar to order our own food. Only giving it a 3-star from my fish and grits.

I have been eating at the Liberty Diner 20+ years. Never had a bad meal.The food and service is great.

Place is a real gem. They serve home cooked food. It literally looks and tastes like you made it at home. I love the lunch beer crowd. This is a true Roxbury original so yes it might be rough around the edges, but I dont dare go to other local diners. I work around the corner and probably go here about once a month.

The breakfast is delicious...they give hefty portions inexpensively priced...i usually get a bacon egg n cheese sandwich..its only $3.75 & its filling(alot of eggs & meat on it..Ive also tried their fish n grits wit eggs..DELICIOUS! The grits are cooked perfect & they give a big piece of fresh fried haddock season to perfection as well as coleslaw + tarter sauce for only $9.95...i tried lunch there one day it was a grilled cheese burger on fresh buttery roll w/ fresh condiments fries & a drink or beer for $6...they get 5🌟 stars 🌟

If you can overlook the scent by the door, this place is totally worth it. rob is awesome and the food is great quality for your money. Especially the egg and cheese croissant. Also very fresh fish when they have it. Adored by the locals across the street.
