Best chai tea latte!! Seriously. Nice cafe. They have bar stool seating and chair/table options. Its a hole in the wall and a great find!Right off the main drag, they have cold beverages, a coffee bar, and grill with various sandwiches, soups, and salads. Highly recommend! Staff was friendly and it didnt take too long to get food.

Found this place by chance. It was nice to actually able to have a sit down breakfast with eggs, meat, and potatoes. Food and service were good. What a great find.

Would give zero stars if I could. I went in and asked for a gluten free sandwich, which seemed to annoy the gentleman behind the counter. He tried to talk me out of it, as if I have a choice. He then proceeded to take the tiny gluten free slices of bread and slap them down on the counter, right where they prepare every other sandwich. No cleaning, no gloves, nothing. Then he handed me the sandwich and walked away, not even giving me the chance to say anything. Do NOT recommend for anyone with any sort of allergies, they do not care.

We ordered in advance but ate there inside. Had pancakes, omelette, Greek salad. All were excellent and freshly prepared. Solid standard American fare. Would recommend and repeat.

After a long day of flights and travel without food, we were dying for some breakfast. Unfortunately, it was noon local time, and no one was serving breakfast anymore!This place came through for us. Thick pancakes, bacon that didnt seem really fatty or greasy but was perfectly crispy, a huge plate of home fries--ten bucks! Friendly service.

The place is pretty average. Went there for breakfast and got served a hefty meal on a plastic plate. The food was just mediocre but at least they give you a lot of it. Theres probably a better option nearby.

Honestly being an out-of-towner (aka from ct) i would have cringed at this place. But, we gave it a shot and its better than breakfast at home. Staff was amazing and even asked how we like our coffee, right down to how big of a spoonful of sugar my boyfriend wanted. Prices are very affordable and food isnt greasy. Overall great breakfast for a great price.

I meet friends in this lovely place quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot frequently. The cooking is very tasty, the staff is polite and the prices are affordable. I like meeting in this place for a nice dinner.

Scali Cafe is located in the Financial District, so a good place to grab breakfast or lunch. Their sandwiches are decent - while nothing to write home about, they will fill you up. I usually went here for breakfast when I wanted a breakfast sandwich. I will say, give yourself a little time to wait as service can be slow pending on who is cooking, but what I do enjoy is everything is made to order. I always ordered a bacon/egg/cheese sandwich, and it was always fresh, with eggs cooked perfectly, hot melted cheese, and crispy bacon. The only place that compares is Five Guys, which I will cover in another review.

Wonderful breakfast!!! Walked in and saw tons of locals standing around the counter... always a good sign.Food was great and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food! Loved the atmosphere, listening to locals talking about life in the city.

Ordered online and one plate was very inexpensive,and came with tons of fresh delicious food! Unlike what I can say for other breakfast places in the area that are pricier for just eggs and toast! This food came with so much, I couldnt finish it all myself. I have enough left for the rest of the day now. Thank you I would definitely order here again! highly recommend

I deliver here once a week so i stop and grab breakfast. The owner is very cool and courteous and the chefs are very nice and will make your food however you wish. Prices are great and portions are big. Not many places in this area of boston like this. Not pretentious or trendy just good food

Great breakfast! Old school Italians serving up the best of Bostons working class. Dont expect fine silverware and pretentious tourists. Expect a classic American big slamming breakfast served up heaping over the plate and served with plastic forks and knives. I ordered the local 2222 and I likely will need to skip lunch.
