This is absolutely the worst Dollar General I have ever been in carts of supplies ND empty boxes in every isle, but never any product on shelves. Disorganized mess everywhere

Very nice staff however one tough customer at register led to a 15 min wait in line. A nice military customer came in and announced to everyone in line that we could download an app and self checkout....meanwhile only one cashier was available and at least 5 people in line. None of us understood why management didnt tell us about app or open another register. Like I said nice staff but always a long wait. Thank you serviceman for letting me know about the app

I like shopping here for home supplies, shampoo and conditioner and other things. I do like some of the people there. My only problem was that I apply for a job there like a month or two ago and I called but they phone line wasn’t working like a week and a half I went to get some things and ask if they still hiring and she said sorry but we just hire three people we not hiring anyone. I was a little upset about but it’s my fault for not coming sooner. I still get what I need there.

I love Dollar General I was introduced down South and they could be a little cleaner and better, I know they are short staff. The manger always there and helpful if ask. Maybe the owner should see what can make it better. Dont blame staff.

I definitely do not recommend this store in particular. All the place is a mess and the man at the checkout has no idea in customer good treatment.Better look for others Dollar General stores in the area.

I love the Dollar General Store, they have brand name items, as well as their own brand products. They have Halloween decorations out now, as well as school supplies. Shopping there will save you a lot of money.

On Jan 20 i went in to this store to buy some birthday balloons for my daughter birthday. When i walked out the store with the balloons i noticed that two of them fly away. When i got to my car. And look at the balloons i noticed that the strings was taped and NOT tied to the balloons. So i went back in the store and told the manager at the time what had happen to my balloons. She told me that after i walked out the store with the balloons its my problem what happened to them. I buy more balloons because i did need them. The following week i called the corporate office and explain what happen to me at the store. The person on the phone was better than the person in the store. Long story short. They will be sending me a check for the additional balloons that i had to buy. To me its not about the money its about the customer service and who the hell tape balloons strings to balloons.

Customer service is always wonderful

This place is always a wreck. But I dont expect much from Dollar General. What I do expect is good prices ... and things are pretty hit-or-miss here. They have a large clearance section, but I noticed some of the prices listed as the clearance price were the actual regular price of the items. Additionally, make sure you watch the prices when you get rung up because frequently they dont ring properly especially when theyre on sale or clearance.

I used to live in Bowie and always shopped here for stuff I needed at a good price. They always have what Im looking for. Staff is friendly and prompt and very helpful.

The stores goods are all over the place. It feels as though they will never finish stocking. Unfortunately, they have boxes of goods in cages that block all shelves. Goodluck and may the odds be forever in your favor.

I love shopping here but they really need to fix up the clothes area its a mess. How you going sell the clothes if you cant walk to see it. Too crowded.Really starting to look messy.

Dollar General is exactly what you should expect. Really cheap stuff, entry level employees, and a run down appearance inside the store. All this being said, this is their business model and it works. We go there often and find exactly what we expect to find. Its never awesome but its always ok.

Merchandise laying in the aisles. One cashier at check out on a Saturday.Other store members not concerned about long lines just putting merchandise away.

Had everything I went in there for and some great deals on many items. Will return to do more shopping.

They have a nice selection of products. Especially if you need travel items a little bigger than travel size.

This place does have some items at a reasonable price, however its also filthy, crowded, and there is trash in boxes in the aisles. Its a real shame...

I always come here and spend more than planned. They have everything. Great service. If you need help theyll stop their tasks to assist you. And the line moves fast even with slow paying customers ahead in line lol. Nice ladies there too. They always remember me.

They ALL & I MEAM ALL make ppl wait to long in line, ALL & I ALL set themselves up for anybody to walk in & walk out the front door with whatever they want. Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, 7-11,etc, do the same thing. And its predomitly the same culture or those that hang with them that do this through out the country, obviously more in more populated areas, bc they are cowards & afraid to say or do anything about it unless they are....U know answer...and Millennials make it worse...you & me ( reg wrkg class taxpayers) pay for it...

This store has absolutely nothing and is not fully stocked. Highly disappointed. I asked the guy at the register (he kinda favors Danny devito) where is the $1.00 aisle. Every Dollar General has a aisle that everything is ONLY $1.00. He explained to me, go to the far back of the store, the second aisle from the left. I went over there and saw a clearance aisle. Which is NOT the same as the $1.00 aisle is all other Dollar Generals. I came back over to the register and asked the guy to physically show me where the aisle was. He then said go to the second aisle from the left in the back. I asked again could you show me. He then walks from behind the register goes outside near the shopping carts as they are stored outdoors (weird) then says to me after I follow him outdoors, Maam thats all that we have. I then asked myself ....What kind of customer service is that????? What a waste.. Upper Management/Corporate get in this store and perform a undercover shopping trip ASAP....

Dirty and unorganized. They put the trash and cardboard out front on the sidewalk and it makes the whole plaza look trashy

In general, Dollar General is great. I have shopped various DG stores for years. However, this particular DG is way too often out of many of the things I would generally purchase there. It is really frustrating.
